I came here Saturday morning to purchase a tire. I was looking for a specific tire to match the set on my car. I requested to just purchase the tire and I was told can't just give me a tire I purchased, they have to mount it (it's company policy they can't just sell it to me.) I have a preference for mechanic but I decided to go with it because I was advised by Ben tires plus was the only one who had the tires. I was told that it would be an hour and a half to change the one tire (I brought it with me and the car was elsewhere). He ended up getting the tire changed quickly. That same night, I get in my car to head home and the psi is at 16 on a brand new tire, I filled it back to 32 but Sunday morning at 7:45 it's back at 16. I go back to the store as soon as it opens and speak with Ben again requesting someone to look at the tire since it's new, I wanted to make sure I didn't run over a nail and it was mounted properly. Ben is clearly stressed out and frustrated which I get but the response of "well I don't know how long it will be because I wasn't expecting you" isn't a comforting or acceptable answer. I wasn't expecting to have to return after I just left 24 hours ago. The tire removed and checked by a different technician. I didn't speak with the technician directly instead I was advised the tire is perfectly fine and I have a hairline crack on the rim by Ben. I asked is that something they would usually notice when installing the tire, he stated no. They don't do those types of repairs but I'll keep having the same issue. Since the tire was mounted again I haven't lost any air in 48 hours. read more

The team was professional and very friendly which is rare these days. I had a problem with Bib Richards and my tires after there maintenance techs worked on my car. The techs at tires plus found the problem and my car is driving smoothly as when I bought it new last year. I've been to this location before and I'm never disappointed. i usually get my car services here. they do a good job on my oil changes and even leave a sticker on the inside if the car to ket me know how many mikes till the next one. I went to this Tires Plus to inspect an oil leak my car was having with hopes they would be able to fix it. unfortunately they didnt get the leak fixed but defered me to the dealership for service but got me upset was that i didnt get an overall inspection on the rest of the car so i told them that i didnt get an overall inspection or even a battery check and it wasnt until i was helped by Kate that saved my experience here. she told me that they never noted that i wanted a vehicle inspection and that i was a 9.99 service. she went ahead and gave me additional details on my car like the tire threads and my fluid levels all being good and that the brakes is the only thing they would need to schedule another appointment to inspect. i appreciated her help because i was upset that couldnt tell me anything more than i had an oil leak. Ben and the staff at the Martinez location are awesome. I have taken my cars to other shops and spent a lot of money only to be dissatisfied. The husband and I are in Augusta for a couple of days. Spent today Downtown and picked up not 1 but 2 screws in our tire. Went to Goodyear and was told the tire could not be repaired. This was after a 2 hour wait. Left there aggravated and came to this location. The man here pulled the screws and noticed no leaks! Made the hubby's day. Thank you for being so serviced minded. If i could do 0 stars for this location i would. My husband took the car in on 4-11-18 for an alignment. On 4-12-18 the car litterally jerked me off the side of the road. We take the car back to have alignment fixed on 4-13-18 at 11am.. At 130pm I was told that the front tires were "separated"(meaning the belt inside the tires broke and caused the tires to bulge) and the tie rods were also broke/need to be replaced or i would end up on the side of the road within DAYS...so i agreed to replacing both front tires and both tie rods...An associate had informed me at this point that tires separating and tie rods breaking or bending is the result of incorrect alignment.....$660.50 later and 6.5 hours later i finally left the shop with 2 new but wrong tires on the front. When i agreed to the cost i was under the impression that i was getting the same type tires put back on my car. Called the 1800 number for corporate who was very professional and couteous, who put me in contact with the store manager Daniel, who tells me that his employees are trained NOT to pressure customers into getting additional repairs completed at his shop, and that the damage to the tires and tie rods were not caused by the alignment issue. Daniel so graciously ordered the correct tires and told me it would be at NO ADDITIONAL COST to me and that the tires would arrive on tuesday and he would eat the cost of the correct tires. Daniel also suggested that i go back in and speak with him and the employees that i had dealt with yesterday. I told him he would NOT want me to confront any of them because as soon as one of them lies to my face and says they didnt say something that they did say i would snap. I also told Daniel that i was calling the 1800 number again to escalate this above his position to which he replied that it would do me no good because it would end up back at store level. So i called the 1800 number again and this is being escalated to the regional manager. The absolute best ! My oldest vehicle is a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado. This is the only shop besides the dealer when it was still under warranty that has ever worked on this vehicle, and it still runs like it's brand new. I have never been over charged for any repairs and believe me I look for great deals. Even when I was out of town 1500 miles from home and run over a chunk of metal in the road and blew out a brand new tire the Tires Plus in Duluth Minnesota replaced my tire at no charge due to the fact I only had the tire less than a week. I love customer service like that. I have used Tires Plus for years at the same location at 3849 Washington road in Martinez Georgia. They always do a great job. They stay in contact with you to inform you of the progress of the work being done on your vehicle and more importantly there are no surprises at checkout. The price you are quoted is the price you pay. This is a professional shop from the front of the shop to the mechanics in the garage area. They all take pride in their work and their customer service. If you are in the area and need work on your vehicle give this location a try. read more

I give zero stars for the service I received today at the Martinez location. I had a control arm replaced on my truck just three days ago. The truck has sat parked till this morning till I could go get it aligned even though it appeared to not need it. Anyways guy says yes, alignment for $80. Cool. He has it brought into bay and I go to waiting room. Thirty minutes later another guy calls me to counter and starts explaining why my truck needs $950.00 in repairs. I politely listen as he starts to tell me that I need to replace BOTH control arms and both tie rods. I said that is not true as the one is brand new and was just installed and checked by two other mechanics. He didn't miss a beat and said yeah one control arm and both tie rods. It's obvious to me he had not even looked under my truck. Had him print it out and get my truck out. Not going to trust him at this point. Looked at his estimate. For one control arm by the same manufacturer he wanted to charge me more than 3 times what I paid for it! 300% markup on parts? Not this customer. Update: I've emailed all the relevant info to the socialcare@bfrc.com. I'm curious to see if there is any follow up. read more

I've been going to this location for 2 years and today was my first unpleasant experience. Usually they have a really nice guy named Patrick at the front, I should have known something was off when I walked in and didn't see him. When I walked in, there was already a couple waiting and the clerk told me she would be with me shortly. About 4 other ppl walked in and the other clerk came and served all 4 immediately. I just stood there and looked bc I was kind of in shock. The first clerk finally called me up, I told her I had an appt, which I was like 15 min early for, she told me it would be 2 hours before they even see my car bc she just put 4 tickets before me! What's the purpose of having a damn appt??!! She then asks me if I wanted to schedule another appt and I told her no bc I already had one! I told her don't worry about seeing me again. The other clerk that was up front was just like "whatever". I'm like really ppl?!! The couple that was there when I walked in told me on the way out to the car how they couldn't believe what just happened and how they had never seen them act like that. Hell, me either that's why I went to them for 2 years.. Why do these places act like they are the only car maintenance shops around?? I took my services to the location on Robert C Daniel. There was only one guy working the front but he managed to greet everyone with a smile and actually helped calmed my nerves bc I was still hott with Washington rd. Tire plus in Martinez GA . Do not go there. I give them one star because you can't give negative reviews. I took my car for a "free inspection", an inmedietly they told me that they need to do the more advance inspection without even try and that was $100. Then they bill me $200 for changing one engine coil. Give me an estimate to change all 8 for $1,500. Check online the part cost $24 each and you change in less than five minute with only one tool and not even a dirty job. Got me once, but will never visit that or any other Tire plus in my life. read more

First time customer. Went in for oil change. Nothing was wrong with car. First the service clerk tells me my air filter is really dirty and needs to be replaced. (It is only a month old!). Then he told me my battery was leaking and needs to be replaced. When I asked for clarification, he explained that their was some corrosive build up on one the terminals, which they could clean up for $30.00! Then they told me I needed to replace my belts. I told the guy just do the oil. When I got the car back it had a very uneven RPM during idle. I took it to my mechanic who quickly spotted that the tension on the belt had been loosen ed below specs. The bottom line: these guys epitomize why folks don't trust mechanics. If you value you car and your money, stay away from this place. They are bad news. Rather than try to make a great first impression on a new customer, they tried to milk the transaction for additional revenue. It a bad way to do business. read more
