I bought all new tires here. I have had two Flats they fixed one and replaced the other for free. Get the the road hazard insurance. Highly recommend it. Saved a lot of $$$. They are friendly and have great service. I've left my car there overnight when I had a flat and the next day I bought them my key. The only thing I would suggest is if they have a night drop. Brought my Honda civic here a few weeks ago because my brakes were squealing. The mechanic who worked on in my car never spoke to me he just communicated to the guy who manned the desk and the desk guy communicated to me which was odd. He told me I needed to replace the brakes and the calipers which would be 1000 dollars. I did not tell them that I had my calipers changed a couple years ago by a trusted mechanic in Boston who told me I will only need to replace my calipers once in my cars life. I ended up bringing my car to a much busier and well reputed establishment where they confirmed my calipers are in good shape and I only needed to change my brakes. I recommend this place only for battery replacements and oil changes. I know my mom takes her car here for these things and she is satisfied but I can't help but feel like they were trying to give me an unethical upsell which is something a solo woman is unfortunately not surprised of in these places. read more

Omg, clearly the customer is not important. After a blowout and towing my car there, 17 days later it's finally finished. This required my doing all the leg work to find a new rim. The rim finally arrived at 11am, so I called and said have it ready at 4:30 pm No that's too hard. I show up at 4:30. They had done nothing 90 mins later I finally got out of there. Do Not Go Here: I show up at 9am and they bring my car into the bay. He asks me exactly what I want done. I told him I think there are a problem with oxygen sensors because that is the code that came up on my ODB2. I also told him I would like front brake pads put on. Another mechanic where I got my oil changed last week said my rotors were fine so I told him I had a second opinion and I just want the shoes done. He pulls me into the bay and shows me some rust coming off of the rotors and said they HAVE to be changed. I told him I do not want them done and he said "well fine you will be back in 2 weeks, the new brakes will never work right" So I thought maybe he was right. He charged me 120$ per rotor and the brake job I think was around 180$ on top of that. Whatever i figured...I needed new brakes. He told me yes it was the oxygen sensors and he had to replace 4 of them. He quoted me 85$ per plus labor. I told him he was out of his mind- I had called autozone in north Miami earlier and they would charge me 23$. He "pretended" to call autozone and claimed the best they could do for "him" was 50$ per. Which is total BS- I called them again... more frustrated I gave in once again and they claimed to have changed them. I knew I was due for a tune up as my car just hit 100K and my plugs were never changed. I figured I should get it done now so I asked him to do those as well while my car was in. He claims they did. When I look at my engine it looks as if there are fingerprints on the distributor cap but the nuts to the left weren't even touched. When I called him back when I got home to call him out on it, he said to come back in and he would show me the old ones... but I didnt have time to go back in today and who knows if they were really mine. They have no idea the ruckus I am going to cause about this! I have contacted every news station, their corporate office, the other mechanic, and the miami dade police! I bought a battery there yesterday and was well taken care of. The 2 men at front desk were really helpful and nice to everyone that walked in. I will def go back for my car needs.And by the way, plan on waiting if its busy. I just finished fixing all the problems these mechanics caused when they last worked on my car. I have a 2002 VW Jeta and had Tires Plus put new struts and replace worn pads on rears. The bottom line is that the mechanics here have no business holding a wrench. Do not take your car here for repairs. They claim that they have to do everything by the book but the mechanics do more harm than good. They damaged the bolts on both the wheels and breaks. I had to remove these bolts and repair the damaged threads caused when the mechanics used the wrong sized socket to tighten. When a shop and mechanics make this simple mistake it causes hundreds of dollars of damage. This blatant and gross negligence dose not deserve a second chance. They have violated my trust and I will not take my cars here ever again. read more

This place is a complete disaster! Came in for a quick oil change, waited 30 mins, the guy called me up to the desk and I thought we were done. However he then showed me some brake pads which he claimed were from my car! He said they were badly worn and he should replace them on all four wheels! I asked who had authorized him to remove them, he shrugged and said it was a "safety issue" the pads were less than half used so I told him to put them back Immediately!!! Guaranteed in under an hour -Good prices.. But please find a word to the wise below -Honest. They could've easily told me I needed back tires and I would've believed them, but they didn't. -Explanation of issues clear and easy to understand. Not condescending. -Comfortable waiting room with TV and free coffee and water -There was an adorable puppy inside when I visited, so I was amused and happy Cons: -While prices are good, labor is NOT included in what they quote you on the phone. Be sure to ask for the TOTAL price, including labor. -They try to upsell you like crazy. Be strong! You don't need the vehicle assessment, oil change, alignment, blah blah blah I think what is happening here is a great staff is doing a fantastic job, but the policies at the corporate level leave something to be desired. Had my one tire replaced in exactly 30 minutes, as promised. All of the staff I interacted with were friendly. I'm giving them three stars because they recommended things be replaced based on mileage, not based on wear and tear. For example they recommended that I replace my cabin filter and air filter both of which have recently been replaced. However, my windshield wipers, one of which I obviously need a new one (visibly damaged) they did not recommended because no one noticed. It would be nice to have a competent, honest mechanic but I guess for now I will just use this place for tires. read more

Friendly but a total time suck. Was told it would take 2 hours to patch 2 tires, change a valve and replace 1 tire for my 2000 Mazda Miata. However it took 3 3/4 - 4 hours which made me late for work. UGH. Maybe I'm cheap, but I thought labor for changing a tire should cost around $25. Labor to change 1 tire for a small Japanese sports car at Tires Plus is $37.23 plus the tire ($68.99). I expected going to a big shop with a lot of auto bays and a large staff wouldn't be the cheapest option -- but I did expect them to get the job done efficiently and quickly (I mean 'tires' is in their name, right?). What is up with places providing mechanical or tire service in Miami?? Worst costumer service ever. I was here to weeks ago without an appt. Spoke with TJ or someone who calls himself by his initials, he saw the car, I explained the issue (rear right tire loosing air) and he literally told me: "you have a 2hr wait right now, come back with an appt and it will be between 15 and 20 minutes". Today, I arrived to my 8am appt, they took 10 minutes to check me in and 50 minutes later, car was still at the lot. This is a tire replacement establishment, and I'm asking for the easiest service possible. It's like going to McDonald's, asking for a plain burger and having to wait 30 minutes to get it. This was a 8am appt and there was no people waiting. Also, once I confronted the guy, he went to the other side of the office, were his boss was, spoke with him, referring to my as "this guy" and said (I could hear them) "this guy says someone told him the tire fix was going to be 15 to 20 minutes", to what the boss Luis said "no, that's not right, he is wrong" shaking his head and looking through the window to were I was, oblivious of the fact that I was at the counter, observing and listening to them talking about me. UPDATE After the intial one star review, Initials guy just told me the fix will be free of charge, courtesy of the manager. Getting an much needed oil change Tires Plus. Got a quote for $22.99 and was super psyched because I also had a $10 off coupon, came in yesterday to schedule the appointment showed them my quote and coupon which they finally agreed to because they insisted the quote was a coupon, clearly not as listed on their site...showed up this morning and they will not honor the $10 off coupon because the "quote" has the coupon applied even though it clearly is NOT listed. I know i'm getting a good deal but its the principle otherwise I would have went to my normal oil change place who does a great job and excellent customer service, includes an car cleaning and only takes 20 minutes for everything ExxonMobil in North Miami Beach, could of been a new customer but now I can't get this bad taste out of my mouth for the service nor am i in the mood to argue during the holiday season. Very confused about the previous reviews. My experience was excellent. Called to find out if they had my tire in stock which they did. When I arrived, Nic took care of me. He was super nice and assured me they would check all tires to be sure I didn't have another problem. Come to find out the tire I thought was bad wasn't at all, however; they did find a nail in another tire. They honored a coupon I had and I was in and out in about an hour. A simple oil change that was advised would be an hour and 45 mins, granted, cars in front of me, sure... but damn, 1:45 (that's kind of long if you ask me.) Worst place ever to change your tires. My car was promised for 11:30-12:00pm and it was not ready until 1:15pm. I had to lose time from my job, and they never informed me about the delay. Not sure what the complete circumstances were with Marina S. since there is always 3 sides to a story but after more than a couple of years dealing with these guys..I was reminded why I should continue this week. Customer service is great, prices great and they are ethical, which for a woman is paramount. I treat my car like my body so I always get 2 or 3 opinons on everything and I'm not exactly your typical car owner...(yeah I used to pull my rotors and gap my plugs)! When I bring my car here I know I'm going to be taken care of with no BS. Luis the Manager, David, Nick and the other guys have always been on point and very courteous. Yes, sometimes the wait time is a little long but that's a testament to how good this place really is and how they care for their customers. Came in for a 3-4-1 tires special. On top of that, a coupon for ten bucks off an oil change. So far, so good, right? I drop off my hoopty, tell the clerk I'll be back in about an hour. Went for some food and a stroll around Target. About ninety minutes later, I come back to find that my car is still on the lift. Hood open, wheels off. No big deal. It's a busy Saturday morning. I'm understanding. Hour two ticks by. Hour three ticks by. At this point, Hoopty Dumpty's been put back together by all the king's men, so I ask the clerk how much longer it'll be. I absolutely love this place. Thank you to Nic and John for the great customers service. I was originally coming from jiffy lube and I personally did not like anything about it. I came here with very low expectations but then got pleasantly surprised. They will tell you everything how it is and will not try to pull one on you. On top of it all their prices are spectacular. They are constantly giving great offers. The only thing I suggest is to make your appointment ahead of time! don't be the walk in that has to wait 2 hours. The nice thing is that Costco and target are right near buy so if you catch yourself with an hour you can do some last minute grocery shopping or birthday gift shopping. Overall the only negative thing I can say is that it's cold so bring a sweater. Besides that I plan on staying with this tires plus for as long as I have a car! I need tires but will not go to this location. One time I went in to patch a hole in my tire. They came back and said I had a belt that was going bad that needed to be replaced. Avoid this place like the plague. Unprofessional/incompetent service, Long waits, zero service ethic. I went in because I thought I was getting a flat tire from the noise (and was a few blocks away) and sure they sold me tires and a tire rotation/balance, but neglected to tell me that the wheel bearing was shot (very dangerous). They told me "no problem, all good". The next day I went to a mechanic who was horrified, and suggested I call corporate, which I did. (Basically the $70 for wheel balance was a waste because I needed new wheel bearings) Corporate refused to do anything to reimburse me, apologize etc. Awful all the way around. read more
