We had a miles maintenance where we asked them to check everything out as we have a new car and we want to keep it up-to-date with all the services required. We also did a full synthetic oil change. The first thing that we found interesting in is they did not verify my car. They were just like oh because of the age of your car, you need to replace your battery and a belt and all of these other things and I was like my car is brand new. And he was like oh let me double check that and he said well based on the year of your car on file that's why we gave those suggestions which makes me question if they really did what they were supposed to do or if they just based it on my cars age, old cars, age! $125 for an oil change isn't too bad . Last year, 7 hours it took to get shocks replaced. No updates as the day went on and I'm there waiting for vehicle. I have to inquire, told parts were wrong, they are waiting for another parts delivery. Thinking, ok, it's a one off, been using them for over 20 years. Went last week, no computers, took my name & info, never called me with info I requested or to advise computers were up & running. Went in yesterday, computer running? Yes, great can you print off recommendations suggested on my last visit? Get the print off, ask the guy how long will they need my car, 2 hours. Late today, they only have 3 techs, no problem, I'll make an appt for tomorrow, Tuesday., 9am appt. Arrive at 845, go in, girl at counter pulls up my info, tells me it will be 2 hours, will I be waiting or do they need to call me when its done. I'll wait. 3 hours later I inquire about the car, they inform me job is 5+ hours and its moving along. 5 hours!!!!!! leave with me car at 1:45pm, mind u I've been there since 845am. Drive out, turn around at hobby lobby & go back, car is shimmering, etc.......they didnt secure the spark plugs, sighs. Or so they say that was the problem. I leave, park car, return & start car, check engine light is on......sighs, I go to coggin Hyundai in deland, they do diagnostics on it and inspect the engine, AIT Sensor was NOT connected, the tech was videotaping his actions/inspection under the hood and sent it to me........needless to say, I WILL NOT BE USING TIRES PLUS FOR ANYTHING ELSE. read more

Never again here. I waited two and a half hours for an oil change with an appointment. I understand that places get backed up, esp on the weekend. However, someone called me over an ago to say my car would be ready in 15, only to make me wait another 45. It turns out my car ready but no one bothered to mention it to me. Truly Bad service, this has happened to me on various occasions. Bring vehicle in to have tires rotated and balanced and they tell you it's been done. But the tires were never taken off. They waste your time with you bringing the vehicle back. And they act like nothing happened, like they are doing you a favor. None of my vehicles or my family's vehicles will ever go back there. On one occasion when they did take the tires off they destroyed my wheel locks and replaced with regular lug nuts. Truth is this location is a ripoff. read more

I went to have my car serviced and they took forever. The workers seem to be under a lot of stress because the manager would yell at them. I don't think that people realize how bad the Manager is, but I had my own experience with him straight up was very forward and unprofessional with me as I am a decent looking girl in my 30s I didn't expect the crude things that he said to me and I don't feel like he deserves the position that he is in. Hearing how he talked to his employees was straight up disrespectful and bullying, and in a workplace it was very unprofessional and as a customer, I was appalled by not only his behavior towards the employees, but he came on to me was unacceptable. The service was mediocre. And I will never ever go to this place again honestly embarrassed by whoever hired this manager. So today I noticed that I had a flat and tired to fill it only to notice I had a hole in said tire. I called Tires plus and spoke with Jason. I gave him the info on my tire and car and asked if there was any way possible that I could be squeezed in to get it changed out, he said that wouldn't be a problem and to bring it in, and my car is already on the lift waiting for the new tire to be put on my rim. He was also kind enough to apply a veteran discount which saved me some money which is also nice because I wasn't expecting this expense to happen. I appreciate the front sale rep for helping me get a good tire. I would not let their mechanics touch my truck again if it's was the only shop around. I went in for tires and alignment. I paid more than I wanted to for tires but it was short notice. Now I laid out 1500 bucks for new tires. They said I would get a free alignment check also. I knew it need alignment because I just did ball joints and tie rod ends. The "tech" and I use that term loosely, went through his dog and pony show of checking fuild and the tires(that were being replaced) Marked my old tire pressure as 60 psi....ummmm no I filled them all the 40psi a week prior because I was having steering issues. But only inflates my new tires to 40 psi, when they should have been 60. Had they done the alignment or even put it up one the rack, they would have seen the alignment was off. I recently experienced a tire that was going flat rapidly....it was after 3 in a Saturday and I was scheduled for a trip to south FL on Sunday. I pulled in and asked for a patch and quick repair, only to find out that I had run over a tack strip and had multiple nails in my tire. This tire was already getting close to needing to be replaced. The desk person recommend I have all the tires replaced because I would be doing it in the next month anyway. I felt somewhat pressured so I agreed to two back tires, that were on sale. Went there to repair a tire leak that only happens during highway driving. They said they can't find anything wrong. I had to specifically tell them to check the valve stem and O ring. Odd since they are supposedly the experts. Good thing I did my own research. They eventually fixed it but they told me the other tires are inflated too much. Without my permission they deflated the ones they were not supposed to be even working on. Now I have to waste time re-inflating them back to my preferred pressure. Also it's only $20 at tire kingdom but they charged me almost $40. read more

We arrived at 9:50am and were advised since we had an appointment the next tech would bring our vehicle in and would take approx 45 mins for the service to be completed. At 10:45am my vehicle was still sitting in the parking lot. We decided to go to the desk and let them know we were leaving because our appointment was at 10:00am. I had a flat and took the truck in for a repair. Turns out our it was unrepairable and it had to be replaced. They replaced it under warranty and all was good. Pay Attention! I have a feeling they drive my car very aggressively when they took it for a test drive. I took my Porsche here to correct a wheel balance a few days ago. When I picked up my car it had an average fuel consumption of 7 MPG! (Instead of my usual 20+MPG) I know it was 7 MPG average because the battery was unplugged and everything was reset so it only recorded the miles Tires Plus drove. As soon as I started it up it said 7.3 average MPG. I have owned this car for years and average 20-23 MPG and know from experience that it only gets fuel consumption like this when it's being driven hard like a race car. Just from the few mile trip back home the fuel consumption rose to about 15 MPG & it's now up to 22. It is clear to me that they did nothing but "put the pedal to the metal" the entire test drive. I'm not sure who's job it is to test drive the cars when they are done but who ever it is has a complete lack of respect for personal property. When I picked my car up I noticed the driver side window was 1/2 rolled down and would roll back up. I handed them back they keys and in a few hours they say the window regulator needs replacement. Since my window wouldn't go up I had to leave it there for them to fix. When I went back the 3rd time to pick up my car the Air Bag warning light was on and they said that only a dealer could reset it. I am now taking it back this Friday as the $500 window repair they did didn't hold up. I have owned this car for years and it has been extremely reliable and have never had issues like this with it. These incremental repairs could all be coincidental but knowing how hard someone drove my car, I can only assume it is all related. I have used this location as well as the one by UCF for Tire work. Both locations employ nice people behind the counter and met expectations for prior tire replacements. Prior to this experience I would have rated them as 4 stars but have to drop the rating based on the evidence of how aggressive they drove my car. All I can say is I will be much more aware of the odometer and fuel consumption stats next time I hand over the keys to a mechanic as someone there has a heavy lead foot. read more

Scammed. Went in with a spare because I had a flat tire. After waiting 3 hours they tell me it was $700+, when I asked why it was that amount, they said they installed 4 new tires without asking me first and they even tried to explain to me that making an appointment online for a tire repair, automatically makes it like I needed 4 new tires on a 20k 2014 vehicle..., after refusing to pay and letting them know several times that I didn't need or wanted new tires, they reinstalled my old tires and even reinstalled the bad tire I needed changed without me knowing. This means they took out one of the existing good ones and installed the old one I had on the trunk of my car. How do I know this? Because the next day, one of the old tires was flat again. That is not a coincidence. Either they reinstalled the old one, or purposely did something to one of the existing ones I had. They were trying to make me feel like I had to take the new 4 tires because they already installed them, so maybe because they see a hispanic woman with a baby, they think they can take advantage of someone. Well now I'll have to spend additional money for a tire but I'm definitely not going back to this place. read more

I first took my company car here to get new tires about two months ago and Patrick provided great service and I made it extra difficult by not having my fleet card information but he tracked everything down, made all the calls and did all the leg work. When I picked up the car he mentioned I could bring it there for my oil changes as well and they would check the tires and rotate them every time as well. So today I did. I just felt like they were cheating me. First charging me for optional services without authorization. Not putting the correct mileage in which now shortens my warranty by 5k miles. Above and beyond the call of duty! When I found myself stranded on I4 with a dangling belt near my engine, I thought I was in serious trouble. I was hours from home, and the local Tires Plus that had recently repaired the belt in question. A phone call to my home Tires Plus got me connected with Kenny and his team in Orange City- who happened to be closest. Even though they were half an hour from closing time,Kenny sent a tow truck right away. He promised me he wouldn't call it a night until my van was back on the road. About two hours later, my kids and I were headed back toward home in our smoothly running van. I wasn't asked to pay for the tow or any repairs- and Kenny kept apologizing for the defective part that had caused all the trouble. I drive a Honda Accord and was in for service because the car would not start. Also it would have taken an hour and a half when it was clearly not busy. I left and went to jiffy lube they were so nice and told me $21.95!!!
