Chandler asked for my authorization before any repairs were made Aswell as keeping me updated throughout the time of the repairs. I was quoted a price to replace fuel injectors (Thank God I screen shotted the quote because more money would've been required to continue on). The injectors had been replaced within the last month before I went to Christian (not really a fitting name, but oh well) Brothers. They charged me close to 1200.00 for nothing..I mean nothing. I picked up my car and it ran even worse than before. I took my car to an ASE certified mechanic shop. They figured out the problem in 1..ONE day and repaired it. A simple problem to diagnose and charged me MUCH less to repair. This is the 2nd time I've had issues with Christian (yeah...right) Brothers. There won't be a 3rd. This particular location is basically on the corner of East Colonial Drive and Alafaya Trail, so it is convenient. It is behind the 7-Eleven gas station and across the street from the Dunkin'/Baskin Robbins. I will say that it is a bit expensive, but I guess you have to pay for the sake of convenience. The staff here were friendly and professional and I was in and out in pretty much no time. As I said, it is not cheap. The cost for a full synthetic oil change with an extra quart of oil comes in at just under one hundred and twenty-five dollars. I did have a coupon, which dropped it down to just under a hundred dollars. Just to be clear, you pull in and stay in your car as they change your oil. I was there just as they opened and was the second one there. They have three bays, so I pulled in just as they opened. Again, this was a convenient way to get an oil change and with a busy schedule, this might be the way to go. However, again, it will cost a bit more. I am heading out on yet another business trip either Sunday or Monday, so it was worth the extra money to just get it out of the way.

    Easily one of the best service experiences I've had…read more I came into Tire Plus without a reservation needing a new tube installed and a full check on my truck. I was in a bit of a jam, but from the moment I walked in, I was welcomed right away and treated with real respect. No attitude, no pressure just a team that was ready to help. Chris greeted me first and set the tone immediately with a great attitude. He was professional, easy to talk to, and made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free. Richard truly went above and beyond throughout the entire visit. He walked me through everything step by step, made sure I understood exactly what was going on with my truck, and took the time to answer any questions I had. You can tell he takes real pride in his work and genuinely cares about helping people. He stayed involved the whole time and made sure nothing was overlooked. Honestly, he made a stressful situation feel easy, and that level of service is rare. Their communication and honesty really stood out. They kept me informed every step of the way and even completed another inspection where they physically showed me issues with my vehicle that could have been extremely hazardous. I was already aware of the problem, but they took the time to explain the real risk of leaving it unresolved without being pushy at all. They had the parts in stock and ready to go, and their team knocked everything out efficiently. They replaced what needed to be done, changed all of my fluids which was long overdue, and made sure everything was good before I left. You can tell they care about doing the job right, not just getting you in and out. Despite me coming in without an appointment, everything was done quicker than I expected and without cutting corners. My truck honestly feels like a completely different ride now smooth, solid, and reliable. While waiting, I also noticed the shop itself. Clean waiting area, TV, snacks, restroom, everything you need. But more importantly, I watched how they treated other customers. Everyone who walked in was greeted like family, not just another sale, and that says everything. I also learned that a lot of the staff are retired military, and it shows. There's a clear sense of pride, discipline, and genuine care in how they treat people and the work they do. Most importantly, there were no games, gimmicks, or pressure tactics. Just honest, hardworking people who clearly take pride in what they do and genuinely want to help you and your family stay safe on the road. After my experience, I really don't understand the negative reviews. From start to finish, this was fast, honest, and professional service. Don't overlook this location. Whether it's something small or a major issue, you'll be in good hands here. Huge thank you to Chris, Richard, and the entire team for getting me back on the road and taking care of my truck the right way. And a big thank you to the shop workers behind the scenes for their quick, efficient work everything was done right and done fast. I truly appreciate everything!

    I came here for a tire rotation and balance because I had some curb rash and was experiencing a…read morewobble while driving. I paid about $70 for the service and waited for over an hour. After leaving, the wobble was still present. When I got home, I checked the wheels to see if new wheel weights had been installed as part of the balancing service. There were no wheel weights on any of the tires. I called the shop, and they essentially acknowledged that the tires had not been balanced. As a result, I had to return and spend another 45 minutes waiting for the balancing service to be completed. My advice: if you pay for a rotation and balance here, double-check that the balancing was actually performed before you leave. What was most disappointing was that there was no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience. A discount on a future service or some other gesture would have gone a long way toward making up for the fact that I did not initially receive the service I paid for.

    INCOMPETENT! DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! One month prior to this writing, I took one of our cars into…read moreMavis Waterford lakes on Alafaya trail for A/C repair. It cost over $1,800.00. After paying this amount, I went to drive off in the car, and the A/C was not working! I turned right around-they kept the car for several hours after that and it was finally working-TEMPORARILY. (Do they not ensure they fixed what they were paid to fix?!). As we used the car, we noticed the A/C was only working once in a while, so I made another appointment for Saturday, February 28; they even called me a few days before to "confirm" the appointment. When I arrived that Saturday morning, they told me that the A/C Technician would not be in "today". I had to make yet another appointment for the following Saturday (which was "today"). I took my receipt in with me. The Manager of the store told me that I would have to pay another diagnostic fee if they found it was something they did not address when I brought it in originally. I paid over 1,800 for the A/C to be FIXED; not for it to be RANDOMLY WORKING!! Why would I pay yet another diagnostic fee?! I refuse to buy their B.S., so I left. I called the Corporate office to register the complaint. As I was on hold, the Corp. rep supposedly called the Manager of that store location to discuss the issue. I was told that they would not waive the diagnostic fee if it was "something else". The Rep told me she would escalate it to the Regional Manager and that he would call me, and that she would also send me an email re-capping our discussion. Neither has happened. As I told the Manager, I have been taking two of our cars here for years; back when they were "Gator Action Tires", and they would lose my business for good. I won't ever take my cars back to Mavis. They are incompetent and don't take pride in their work; and apparently don't care about keeping long-term, repeat customers.
