I gave this place more chances than they deserved, and somehow it just kept getting worse. I bought two "brand new" tires from this location, and one of them didn't even make it FIVE DAYS before failing. Not a slow leak. Not normal wear. A complete failure under regular driving conditions--which is honestly scary when you think about it. Then came the customer service... or lack of it. I reached out to multiple managers across two locations trying to handle this calmly and reasonably. Instead of taking accountability, I got a mix of blame-shifting and straight-up disrespect. One manager actually tried to say the failure was MY fault (still waiting on how that makes sense), while another told my fiancé that I was "too emotional to get the full price." That alone should tell you everything about how they treat customers. And of course, they also tried to blame the tire manufacturer... while being the same people who sold and installed the tires. So again--defective product or bad installation? Either way, that responsibility doesn't magically disappear. For context, I'm a military fiancée and didn't have time for this kind of runaround. I wasn't asking for anything crazy--just a refund for tires that were clearly defective or improperly installed. Basic accountability. Instead, I got dismissed, blamed, and talked about like I wasn't even part of the conversation. If you're okay risking your safety and being treated like this when something goes wrong, go ahead. I went in for a lower control arm replacement, after not getting the part they called me to tell me my hub is shot. A $435 fix when your already removing the spindle to get to the control arm, it is just 4 bolts. After I pick the truck up i notice the balljoint is sitting only half way into the spindle, so i return back. I told them that wasn't the bolt that came in there wasn't the right one, to be told, "we do not have bolts" then to be told by the man working on my truck that he replaced my strut bolt because it was stripped. So y'all do not carry bolts? Not to mention my steering wheel is now off to the left after almost being perfectly straight. Absolutely the worst shop i have been to, terrible customer service. Did not even fix the problem just told me the ball joint was shorter and thats how it is supposed to be. How do you get a specific part and have it be a different length does not make sense. I was not trying to argue with the man because clearly he is not going to admit the issue. I do fear that it will break but he insisted thats how it is supposed to be. This place is horrible. I don't usually like to write bad reviews, but have to make an exception . We are traveling and pulling a trailer. Trailer tires developed leaky stems. The "manager" was the most rude and unhelpful person I have come across. He let us know that he wasn't supposed to be at work...maybe he had a beach party to go to?! Don't know, but will NEVER darken this business' door again. They didn't look too busy and I can completely understand why. Pass this place up and go on down the road. You can easily find people who appreciate your business just 2 miles down the road. I'm sorry to be forced to give them even 1 star. read more

Took my tire in to plug a slow air leak. Leak continued. Took it back. The tire store employee said it didn't work (what?) so it means buy a new tire. Tires Plus sold me all 4 of current tires. My complaint is : why wouldn't they guarantee the plug work instead of charging me for a bad plug ($30)+ new tire + install (I took tire off)? I won't buy here ever again. Neither should you. We took our car here once I think to have work done. Thought it was alittle expensive but we went back due to our van having a flat. I knew it was a slow leak cause it took like 3 days for it to go flat. So I drop off the van & walked home. They had the vehicle all day. About a 1/2 hr before they closed they called me. I went in & they said it will be close to $800 for all new tires. I said thanks but no thanks. I took the car to Addy's Tire Service a few days later. I waited 10 min & they fixed the flat for $10 & said the other tires were fine. Do yourself a favor - go to Addy's for tire service. I'll never go back to Tires Plus. read more

I wish I could give this place No stars. This location is not trustworthy at all! STAY AWAY! I went in for an oil change and I was told I had a screw in my tire and it wasn't reparable, luckily I had insurance on my tires and went to the place I got my tires from. Yes, I indeed had a screw... between the tire cracks. The guy just took it off with his hand and my tire was completely fine. Are you kidding me? NOT REPARABLE? Took a old truck for an alignment, They did not adjust any thing left one side 2 degrees positive and other side 1-1/2 degrees out. Both sides are 1/2 degree factory specs. The toe was 1/8" from front to back and they put it 1/2" difference. Causing brand new tires to wear excessively. Shannon was rude and apparently ignorant of the definitions of his own words. In the future when you are unsure of the words you use, choose different words you do the know definition of. When I asked what does, "tire separation" mean?, the insecurity he felt of his ignorance doesn't need taken out on customers by telling them your, "tired of their attitude". I tried to ask, "if I get a new tire will I have to worry about the difference in tred?" Again he inerupted me telling me I had an attitude he wasn't gonna take. When I asked if I had a warranty he said, "not really". I'm not sure what, "not really" means in terms of a warranty but I do know that I bought road hazard protection when I bought the tires LESS THAN A YEAR AGO and his answer should have been "yes". That leads me to believe that not only is the "service manager" ignorant of common terms used in the tire industry he is also insecure about it and tries to bully people into not asking questions. It also indicates a STRONG sense that he was hoping I didn't know what I bought. That equals fraud. Yes, I'm 5'5 with a broken back from an in the line of duty accident. But, I'm not gonna let some under educated bully push me around and try to take advantage of someone who doesn't know his lingo. If he tried to bully me, a man, imagine how he treats your mom, sister, grandmother, or DAUGHTER... Had he not told me he was tired of my attitude and interrupting pertinent questions about my safety. I most likely would have filled out a credit card app and gotten 2 new tires. I've had mixed experiences with Tires Plus. To be honest. I prefer Tire Kingdom or Wal-Mart for tires/mounting/balancing and oil changes. Service can take hours, even if you have a scheduled appointment, so it's best to leave your vehicle (if you're comfortable with that). Average. read more

A joke told they couldn't pull tire off camper due to not having tools and no valve stem to replace the old one

I honestly only brought my car here because it was the closest place I could find that would do an oil change and check my tire in the same go, but I will come back for their customer service. As a female, especially with kids in tow, I come in to any car maintenance situation ready to have people try to scam me. Here I was treated with respect and they didn't push anything on me I had not already planned on paying for. I spent about an hour and a half in their waiting room and thus interacted with several of their employees. Every employee greeted me, and my children, were polite and professional and had a smile on their face. I also had the opportunity to watch several customers come in and out of their office, all of whom were treated with the same professional courtesy and hospitality. After my car was finished I ended up coming back shortly thereafter because my tire pressures were uneven. One of their mechanics, Blake, took the time to adjust the pressure on all of my tires and answer my questions about maintaining my tires and car. He and another mechanic conversed with me politely while I waited and showed no irritation in providing the extra help. Their prices were competitive, their waiting area was clean, comfortable and pleasant and their customer service was exemplary. read more

Wonderful customer service! Our tire blew while we were driving from Ocala FL to North Carolina over he 4th of July weekend. Not only were they open but they immediately got to work so that our family could get back on the road quickly (less than an hour). We had our service dog with us and they openly welcomed her into their building on this particularly hot day. We are extremely impressed with the staff at this particular location! Sadly to say these guys need to learn some hospitality from their neighbors beside them at Auto Zone. My husband and I had a simple fix and just needed a little assistance. With a hurt hand after ripping his nail off, only asked if they would tighten his wheel. They told him they couldn't help because it was trailer tire. I understand the liabilities but sometimes you just do it because it's the right thing to do! Thank you Auto Zone. They offered a first aide kit and water. Even came out to help us. This place is as good as it gets. I've been taking my care to Tires Plus in Saint Marys, GA, for a few years now. It is convenient and they are so courteous and efficient. I'm writing this to say how much I appreciate RJ and Jack going the extra mile for me. RJ called and said he had a surprise for me. When I went to pick up my car, boy was I surprised.
