1 hour 45 minutes to change 2 tires. They took my car immediately and then it sat unattended. They ran a diagnostic on it which I didn't request. Two new tires on and it just sits up in the rack! Manager said delay was because of the wait time on tire machines. Crazy! I went to this place at 5 o'clock to see if they could test my battery and they said they are not helping anymore customers for the day. They close at 7. I just wanted them to test it to see if I need a new one. That does not take long to do. They had 2 guys standing behind counter just to tell people they will not help you. I have had problems with this store 3 other times. They are slow for any kind of work done to car. And the worst customer service. I will never go they again. While I want to acknowledge the hard work of the techs at this Tires Plus location--they've always been polite and professional during interactions--my overall experience has been incredibly frustrating and costly. I've now visited this location three days in a row, including Sunday and Memorial Day, both of which have reduced hours that I was aware of. Still, I made sure to arrive hours before closing, only to be turned away each time with the explanation that the technicians had already been sent home early. To make matters worse, the delays have had real consequences. I initially came in for a service and was quoted an extremely high price for parts that I later sourced and installed myself for around 1/12th of what I was told. Once that was done, I returned for an alignment--the work that I was told couldn't be completed until those parts were replaced. But I never got that alignment done. And because of that delay, my front-end alignment issue continued and has now caused significant wear on one of my tires. A tire that likely now needs replacing--and if past pricing is any indication, it won't be cheap. It's not that I'm upset the techs went home early--I respect that they work hard. But when repeated early closures and delays directly lead to damage on my vehicle and more expenses for me, it becomes a much bigger issue. Polite staff aside, I've now lost time, money, and a tire because this location simply couldn't deliver on basic scheduling and follow-through. read more

Stuart is an amazing professional who was a pleasure to work with when I needed to work replace two tires on my Telluride. They gave me a fair quote for two new Bridgestone tires and an alignment. They didn't beat the dealer's quote but it was only $50 more and it meant getting it fixed same day as superbowl Sunday when the dealer was closed. Awful. Just awful. Never will I go to Tires Plus again, never. Any TiresPlus. Carrollwood store I made 3 different times I made an appointment to have my car aligned (I have life-time alignment), tires rotated and balance, and (and having road hazard) have a nail pulled and tire repaired. Was told 4 hrs to do everything. No big deal I was willing to leave it at the store. Made the appt on Sunday 8/13 for that Wednesday 8/16. I went to drop it off and I was told I am not in the system. This by the same gentleman with who I made the appointment. Then he said we are backed up and won't be able to get it done, can I bring it back the next day, Thursday 8/17, and a little earlier. Ok that works. Then I call Thursday to make sure all is good and spoke to someone else and they told me I wasn't in the system, AGAIN. 2 times not in the system. I guess making an appt means nothing. I said better yet I'll bring it in Saturday 8/19 so I can leave it all day. Took it in at 8:30am. Nothing was done until 5:15p. Car didn't move. They close at 6:00p. They got the car done only after I was told alignment wasn't on the ticket when it clearly was on the original work order and I was ticked off. Done in a little over an hour when I was told it would take 4 hrs. My washer fluid tank needed refilling. I was going refill the washer tank and put new blades on my car after my tires were done. Got into my car, looked and saw the fluid was refilled. Went to use the windshield washer and MY WINDSHIELD WASHER DID NOT WORK. Nothing! I did not ask for them to refill it. I don't know what they use. Don't' know what its not working when it worked prior to going in! This is the 2nd time I took my car to a TiresPlus and something happened to my car. The first time was my center console latch was broken off when it was working when I took it in. $500 console, broken at the Kennedy Blvd in South Tampa. Now my windshield washer will not work. Both times I was told nothing can be done. I will never ever use TiresPlus again. read more

I took my car into get a set of 4 tires, and once they were done, I was on my way home thinking, that I completed one big task. Boy, was I wrong. The next day, one of my tires was flat. I had to tow my car back again, only to be accused of running over a nail and that it was my fault. All this before even looking at the tire. After taking time off work which wasn't appreciated at all, and waited a few hours. "They fixed" the problem which was on their end...tire wasn't installed properly. In addition to what was wrong, my tire caps (all 4 were missing). When I asked about getting my tire caps from the previous day, I was met with "oh no big deal!!" No big deal? They obviously don't know the reason for tire caps, and it's hilarious that they work in the business of selling tires. My 7 year nephew knows why we have tire caps!!! Oh and jump to 6 weeks later, I saw two plastic parts that shield the tire from the engine are gone! It was there before I got the new tires. Hummm, another cost for their complete incompetence. If they can't return tire caps and now the expense to replace this plastic part on both my front tires!!!!! I am beyond mad. I learned a valuable lesson to never return to this place. I do not recommend this place. Save yourself the grief by making a mistake and seek out better tire professionals who do not try to rip you off or take things from your car. read more

While waiting for my car to be done, they claimed my battery was dead and showed me a piece of paper indicating a low battery test result, trying to sell me a new one. I informed them that I had replaced the battery just four months ago and have pulled the fuses to stop power from draining. Mechanics seemed sketchy and began stuttering when I caught him in a lie. Due to the good reviews regarding Tires Plus on N.Dale Mabry in Carrollwood I decided to use their services. I visited the location ahead of time and later called back for an appointment almost a week in advance. Upon my early arrival, I was informed the job would not be completed till late afternoon. This was unacceptable as I had other appts and offered to come back the next morning but was told they over booked and would not get to me anytime soon. I left my car and shopped the Sams Club nearby while waiting, but to my amazement, the job was not only done at the appt time but wasperience. finished in one hour. (initially I was told 2-3 hours) This was good except for the fact the rims were so greasy, it took me 45 minutes when I got home to clean them. Visiting this location isn't even a consideration for people. In the previous month, I visited TiresPlus on North Dale Mabry to address an issue with my AC. Around 10 days later, I observed an oil leak beneath my vehicle. Seeking a second opinion from a mechanic who came highly recommended, I was informed that my Oil Filter had been deliberately tampered with, and I was shown the evidence. Very unhappy with the slow service. I brought my car in yesterday 12/28/22 at 4:30 pm because the inside passenger door car handle broke. I told the person at Tires Plus to order the piece in advance so that way when the car is in their garage they could immediately fix my car. Now I understand they could not get it done that day but they turned a deaf ear when I asked them to order it so it would come in sooner. Fast forward to today 12/29/22. Now almost 24 hours later I have yet to receive a phone call from Tires Plus letting me know the status of the part or when my car will be ready. I contacted Tires Plus customer service and was told they just started looking for the part ....almost 24 hours after I told them to look for the part in advance. Because of Tire Plus incompetence, my car will be spending a second day overnight at Tires Plus parking lot so they can find a door handle. Now tomorrow will be 12/30/22 and they will continue to work on other cars while my car sits in the parking lot. This will be the THIRD DAY that it sits in the parking lot. I am upset and I have alerted management about this and expect this store to comply and finish my car before working on other cars that came after I came! This is the first and last time I go to Tire Plus. You have lost a loyal customer of almost 10 years. Also, communicate and give a phone call...still waiting for a single phone call from you all. I went in with a nail in my tire thinking I would have to replace the tire. John went to take a look at the tire measurements and said he would try to patch & plug it instead of replacing the tire. When they took a look, the nail had not punctured the tire. There was no repair needed and I was not charged anything. Very honest and friendly. John was great! read more

Please do NOT come here if you have any type of sports car! I went in for the alignment I get every other year and watched as they took my car out on to Dale Mabry twice (before and after alignment) for a total of 22 miles. When the guy left the parking lot of course I had to hear my turbo spool as he gunned it out. Of course I cannot prove they did anything bad, but it was completely unnecessary to drive for that long and that hard when all I wanted was a simple alignment. I fell for their $50 alignment special and you definitely get what you pay for. Please people, do yourself a favor and pay the extra money and go to a respectable place that want take your car out for a joy ride. My vehicle is what gets me to my job and school. I originally stopped by this location a few days ago to have the guys put air in my tires because I'm nervous filling them up. My cousin actually died when fill in up tractor trailer tires hence my anxiety . The sales guy did NOT criticize me in anyway. He said no problem, pull your car around. No charge for air. The mechanic filled my air and talked to me about my tires. He told me I needed to get to new ones because they were balding and could be dangerous. I took his advice seriously & returned 2 days later to buy the tires. When I returned I only waited 1 hr for installation & alignment. What a pleasant experience. The men were gentlemen. Polite . Look, when you're not a "car guy" going to any mechanic is kind of stressful, because you just know you're going to have to deal with mechanics that are also salespeople trying to get you to spend more money than you expect. Went in for a new set of tires and an oil change. You can shop online for what you want and it will give you a full "out the door" quote that you can bring in. I did that and my price was almost exactly the same, within a few dollars I think. I was treated well at the store and I wasn't harassed or coerced into other services I didn't need - unlike at that other oil change place where it takes saying "no" 8 times to get out at a reasonable price. Took about 2 and a half hours, which seemed a little long, but I wasn't quoted a time and for me the wait wasn't a big deal. Maybe from a customer service perspective, after two hours it might have been good to just let me know they hadn't forgotten me. But I'm nitpicking. This was my second visit to this location. First one was with my wife's car about 3 years ago, and had a good experience that time as well. I imagine I'll be back again. read more
