This place is great, both in customer service and quality of work/professionalism. Its my first review, but ive brought my G35 here and even though it sits on 20's. Wheel locks and full suspension, theyve never damaged my wheels and always have been straight forth w what needs attention. Theyve never tried to sell me on anything i didnt need. This time around i came in on a whim for a rotation, balance and alignment on my wifes TL. They didnt hesitate, on the other hand toscalito wanted it from 8-5 the next day. I have been coming to this place for my tire needs for a few years now and I don't usually do reviews online but this time they went way above and beyond to make sure that I was more than satisfied. Brian has to be the best manager of an auto shop that I can ever remember. He always does everything possible to make sure that your repairs or how they should be and at a price point that's fair. I came in with my new car that got a bolt jammed in the tire and Brian squeeze me into his already busy schedule and had me back on the road within about 30 minutes. Jodie is another mechanic that works there that was one of the most friendly mechanics I've ever met, even going as far as to buying my two-year-old son a frosty while we waited. These guys are THE BEST and they have earned my business for LIFE. Okay well I got a nail in the center of my tire, slow leak. This is basically fixable. I was having it inspected at Jiffy Lube for brakes who said the tire was fixable but they didn't do tires. B&G had good reviews and was near the Jiffy Lube. None of the reviews said they don't like to fix tires and push new tires only. The place I have been for tires before charges $20 to fix a tire which seems high as used tires are $40 and new are $80. So B&G says it will be $20 just like the other place. I was hoping $10, and $15 at most. This seems high. Maybe this is the new price now for all businesses? Then the place refused to repair the tire and instead will only sell a new one. Supposedly the tire was misshapen but they showed me and I could not tell anything with it. It wasn't Brian who was the one who originally came up refusing to patch it, it was one of their mechanics. It's policy to avoid fixing tires for as many reasons as they can think of. Brian told me that this place won't repair a tire more than six years old, even for a car that is barely driven so the back tires are good, whereas my regular shop will patch old ones. The tire to be patched when I went to B&G wasn't old and I had only bought it six months before I brought it in, though bought it used. Considering they refuse to repair tires that are old, that's good to know so if I get a nail in one of my back tires, which are old but have a lot of tread, I won't be taking it there to fix them. I should have had them put it back on and then driven to another place to replace it, but later in it turned out good I didn't since my battery needed replacing and pumping it up again would be bad (as the pumps say to turn the car off when pumping). My front right tire actually was strong enough to not even leak from the nail, but until I rubbed up against the curb when parking, did it leak, then I'd fill it and it wouldn't leak until it would nudge a curb when parking. I should've just bought a $4 can of fix-a-flat and it would've solved the tire issue right then and there. I think I was impatient and just wanted to get home and have this tire thing fixed. I was planning to replace the front tires in a year and align at the same time because the front tires are out of alignment and it costs quite a bit for an alignment and so it's something I get when the tires are new. My tires should have lasted for 1-2 years but nope, the shop wouldn't fix them. After the alignment at B&G, I learn their alignment moved some stuff slightly out of whack to make the other stuff in more alignment, though still in the manufacturer's specs. Brian said to fix it would be $25 for a part. Oh only $25 to fix something more, that seemed fine, but well the guy went to lunch so it can't be done at that time and after he returns, it would take 45 more minutes. Brian then said for this he'll only do $20 labor for re-aligning again and I asked for a quote. Well I got the quote, it was $25 for the part, $25 for labor of using the part, then $20 more for the re-alignment, and it ended up totalling $70. This is something the shop should've told me when they were aligning my tires in the first place, in the middle to come out and say that they can do better, not after the whole alignment was all done actually to tell me this. The quote lasted for a week and I decided not to return to do it and save $70, after spending about $240 there when I hoped to only spend $10 to fix an easily repairable tire. All in all, if I didn't need a tire alignment, I would've just simply not gotten any service there and just pumped up my tire with my portable pump, and then gone to find another shop until I found one that would fix my tire. Since my tires are now aligned and won't run out of tread for a very long time, if I run into a whole "we won't fix your tire" from a store, I'll try other shops, or just yank the nail myself and use fix-a-flat to fix it and save money. Though the new tires handle high speed curves very well and the braking works far better. I thought my brakes were wearing out and I had them checked (before I came to the shop the same day) and they were all at 50% and it appears it was the tires. read more

Zero Stars-Would never go here again even if my life depended on it. The "new" guy I had to deal with needs a serious lesson in customer service. He was the most condescending and disrespectful sales person. He must have been a relative to the guy from previous experiences. (read my previous review) If you misplace your B&G Cooper tire credit card forget asking him to verify a sale with the credit card company. Even if you called the Credit Card company before going in and they said they can do it that way. I had a serious tire emergency ($1000. tires replacement) and a drive trip ahead of me and had not used the card since my last major purchase over 6yrs ago. I have paid cash for all other subsequent maintenance purchases. He did not want to call, and told me they don't do purchases that way. He didn't want any credit card fraud. Wow- wtf is that supposed to mean?!!! He didn't bother to look in his computer for past customer accts. Nothing- yes, I did get pissed. Told him that I thought it was inappropriate to assume things and say something like that. We left and he followed us out- tried to apologize. It was too late for me. I told him he could have easily typed up our names and saw that we have a B&G cc and we had our IDs. I may have not had $1000. to pay on hand for this ER but that it was unacceptable to treat me like I was some poor con artist. We ended up at a tire store in Fairfield instead and they treated us with respect and were very accommodating. My family was able to make the trip safely - NO THANKS TO B&G! read more

As like Angel N, I also have been buying tires from B&B Tires for probably 20 years for my El caminos, my boat trailers my corvette, my silverado and my wifes Avalanche, and her other vehicles, now Im getting blown off by Brian Calbert the manager, I have delt with Ken Pendergast and he was a geat manager to deal with. No problem with any warrenty issue at all. I will never recomend anyone to go to B&B again as I have in the past, Dont get me wrong the men in the shop are great and do good work but the manager needs to go. We were on a road trip to Reno and the car light came on saying to check the tire pressure. We stopped at 3 gas stations along the way but none had a tire pressure gauge on the air machines. Our last stop was B&G and they quickly checked the pressure and realized the actual problem was our sensor and fixed that for us, all for free. Incredibly helpful and incredibly nice! My son goes to school in Vallejo. He needed brake work before He drove home. I searched yelp for a good shop to do the work. Most shops, I found, had poor to fair reviews at best. Then I found B & G.Tires. Their reviews were great, and they were right! Probably the best customer service I ever received in a repair shop. Brian was the manager who helped me. Very polite, courteous, and professional. But what I really liked, was that he was very honest. I figured my son's car needed a full brake job, front and rear, and was prepared to spend the money. I got a call from Brian later that day, saying the pads were fine, and that the rotors just needed to be resurfaced, He also noticed a rear brake light was out, and my son had no idea. We purchased four new tires there. The manager there is the definition of true customer services. He explained everything as to tire comparison, prices, what was recommended and what was not needed - period. There was not any pressure to purchase anything. A few months later we had a nail in one of the tires and drove to B&G Tires. The manager pulled the car into the work area and one of the staff took care of the nail issue without any problem. Also recently, we noticed that another one of the tires had a bubble point, and of course we went to our favorite business in Vallejo - B&G Tires. The was a screw in this particular tire and was located in an area that could not be repaired. The store manager is very nice. He was very professional in explaining the damage, and although a new tire was needed, the store manager allowed me to purchase the tire at B&G Tires actual cost (a great price), and without having to paying any additional labor cost. B&G Tires is the only place I will take my cars to and I have recommended them to many friends and family members. Also, in their waiting area they offer free books for you to take home. read more
