So handy dandy Yelp came to the rescue when trying to find a generator a couple of the weeks before my wedding event. Shane was awesome bc his price was very reasonable and gas was included. Delivery to the event in Kahalu was also available for a super reasonable fee! Seriously, Shane was a Godsend for his on time and flexible delivery time the day of. He also guided how to use the generator. We had a Honda 3000 watt which is one of the best models to use for any outdoor events. They are considered to be the quietest. The DJ company we hired loved it and it powers for the length of your day rental. However, we only used it for about 6 hours with no problem whatsoever. The only thing Shane made sure it started since the drive here is gnarly so the fuel moves around. Give Shane a message or call for he responds in a timely manner. Mahalo again!

I called knowing they didn't have any in stock since nobody ever does when a Hurricane comes. They suggested that I pre-purchase the EU2200i that I was looking for. That way I was in line when the next batch came in. Fast forward 2 weeks (Just after Lowell) and they told me they were due in that day and call the next day before coming down to make sure they arrived. I did and Noah told me to come in and see him. I did go see Noah immediately and sure enough, got my EU2200i. A very nice lady customer asked me if I was going to have them pre-test it. I had not thought of that so I asked and both Garrett and Noah both assured me they would put oil in it, a little gas and give it a test. I offered to buy the Oil and was told no worries. They did set it up and test it so and I walked out the door with a set up, pre-tested Generator. At a time when Tropical Storm Norbert was looking like it was going to be another Hurricane. It was most refreshing to have a store take the proper time to make sure all was right in such a hectic time. Getting a Generator's during Hurricane time (or Possible) is a tough thing and these folks were the best !!! Special shout out to Garrett during the buy and later in the pick up, and Noah for FIRST CLASS SERVICE !!!!

After some research, I found that Aloha Power equipment was the place to go to find what I needed. This location is in a warehouse right behind the Costco gas station on Alakawa Street. I asked for help at the cashier/parts counter and the young man confirmed that they had the model I was looking for in stock. He went in the back to get it and had it unboxed, assembled, and ready to go for me in about 10 minutes. I really appreciated that this saved me the hassle of getting that done and having to dispose of the box at home. He also offered to help me load it in the car. The price I paid for the mower was reasonably higher than what I found online and about what I expected. You have to account for the cost they incur having to ship this stuff here. Like a lot of places these days they also charge a 3% credit card fee. As an authorized Honda power equipment dealer, they also supply replacement parts and warranty service. It gives me some peace of mind knowing that I can bring my very expensive new mower here if I have problems during and after the warranty period.
