I had 4 new tires I needed mounted on my boat trailer. I called ahead to find the best time since they are first come first served. The young lady on the phone was very pleasant and helpful. I brought the tires and trailer to the shop located just on the edge of town. This place is busy! The young lady working the desk was courteous and helpful. She did all the paperwork to get the work order started. They were quick. They had the tires mounted in no time at all. They have a customer area with coffee and a TV while you wait. When they were doing the tires we noticed I had a tail light not working. They installed a bulb - and checked the other lights !! Thats service. Their prices are great too. I found them very reasonable. The staff was awesome and friendly. Everyone was so helpful. They also do other automotive work. This place is a gem. I will definately give them my business in the future. They are friendly and do great work at reasonable prices! Check them out for tires or other repair needs. I am sure you will agree. read more

"Bird" worked on my tire that I took in there very close to closing and he knocked it out right at closing and he was extremely professional. I believe I have fairly high standards and not only have I never been disappointed with anything - I have actually been surprised at how this team goes above and beyond. Most recently I was looking for new tires and not only were the prices great, more importantly the staff took time to really help me understand my options. Then when the installation day came they also went the extra mile to help me with some minor auto issues I had and their friendliness was exceptional. Highly recommend going here. Another place tried to rip me off with a huge repair that wasn't needed.. took it to Jeff and he said it was the valve covers which is only a $300 repair not a $3400 to replace the head gasket. Jeff is an honest and great guy who will treat you right. read more

Got a state inspection and they tried to get me to pay for headlight adjustment. Took my vehicle to AAA in Fredericksburg and they used it to train other mechanic on how to test headlights using their state of the art headlight tester. There was nothing wrong with my headlight adjustment. I lost trust in this business. Use to have work performed there but will never go back. read more

All I can say is wow the staff is super friendly and although I'm still kind of new to the area I do my own work generally. I was in a pinch and went to their shop to get a lower ball joint pressed in and went to go sit in my car while the work was being done, I changed my mind and decided to go inside and sit. Granted I've heard from a few people this place can be a little pricy so I had my wallet ready when I walked inside and bam that fadg the work was done. The gentleman up front after I asked how much it would be asked if I served i said yes and so did he it wasn't nearly as much as I expected I was shocked the gentleman's name is Jeff griffin the owner i had no idea the fact that he was there getting his hands dirty with the rest of his crew earned my respect ill definitely use them again! I come in here once in a while and the employees here are always kind and courteous. The prices are fair and they're always honest. I've had bad experiences with a repair shop in the area that's also a dealership and tires unlimited got my car right afterward. I realize this isn't the most eloquent review but it says what it needs to, these are good guys (and lady, lol) read more

Horrible service. They took off part of the inside fasteners of my car to get to the twilight bulb and never replaced the fasteners. When I spoke with the owner about it he did not care and said his technician stated they were already missing and that he believed his tech. Will NEVER go back there again. read more

Not really sure who has taken over this place, but it USED to be the only place in Louisa that I would take my car. (Not to mention the lady running the counter is 95% of the time rude and inconsiderate. That being nicely said.) Within the past year, I had 2 tires mounted and balanced, which are rotational tires. Well, they were put on backwards so I had to take my car back to have it fixed with no problem other than the inconvenience. (It's a tire shop so if anything you would think they know how to put tires on a rim correctly, but no). Also, I had a Honda Civic needing alignment so I brought it in. Well, the tires kept wearing more and more so took it back to have it aligned a few months after and I was told that I need to purchase a bolt or something that was missing to do the alignment.(the bolt was missing the first time and they never relayed that info, nor bothered to align my car correctly the first time). Alignments aren't cheap to begin with. I recently took my car there for inspection which I felt they could actually do a decent job with and it failed for rear brake pads. Ok, so we replaced them and took the car back for re-inspection. Needless to say when the old brake pads were removed they still had a couple hundred miles left based on another mechanics opinion that said he would not have failed the inspection, but said he would have advised me they were getting low. But whats done is done. Anyways, so called the shop and asked if they could leave the key in the car for pickup after hours. Went to pick up my car and NO key was left anywhere in the car but was left completely unlocked! Called the shop the next business day and they have my keys. SO now I get to visit this place for the 5th time in 3 days to get my keys back. I will never take anything I own to this place AGAIN!!!!!! read more

I'm not sure why all the other negative reviews keep "disappearing" but I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially for inspections. Tried to tell me that I needed unnecessary work on my power steering line and that my headlights needed adjusting. Passed just fine at the next shop I went to. read more

Had a really odd tire size on my vehicle and it wasn't readily available. Cathy researched and found a substitute for way cheaper and with free road Hazzard. Now I don't need to worry about not being able to find a tire in an emergency. They even washed the brake dust off the car and wheels! Will use again! read more

BUYER BEWARE!!!! Absolutely horrible experience and will never return for any service or sales. I recently purchased 4 used tires from this establishment. Now keep in mind that all used tires must still be able to pass state inspection. Once the tires were installed, at a different shop, the front driver side went flat before it was ever moved. There were 2 nails in that had to be plugged. I called tires unlimited and told them the situation and how I didn't want to be riding around with two plugs in the one tire. They then replied they would take care of it for free. When I arrived days later to have the issue resolved they said that they would have to charge $20 to have it mounted and balanced. Now since I've paid to have it all done at another shop as well as two plugs I didn't feel that I should pay again for an issue caused by the selling of the faulty tire. They would not even give me the replacement tire without it mounted unless I gave them back the faulty tire, which was on my vehicle. So they did nothing for me to right their wrong. the owner was extremely rude and showed no interest nor remorse for the inconvenience his shop had caused. Needless to say this was an experience that I never hope to repeat and definitely will not be doing business with tires unlimited ever again. PLEASE BEWARE!!!! read more
