Plus I was being added to the title... and the complexities grew from there. I want to give a shout-out to Belinda and Beatrice. My CA tags expired so I went here to get my TX tags. No waiting, quick service. They do charge a $25 service fee. For convenience and no hassle I don't mind paying that. Not much communication from the lady doing my paperwork, but oh well. Like the other reviews, I think they could be a little friendlier. I recently moved here from another state and needed to get my car registered. I found the service to be marginal at best. All the services I requested were completed in a timely manner; however, the clerk, Barbara Reyes, was not personable or friendly. The customer service was definitely lacking; It was not a positive experience. I came to this establishment because it's close to where I live. Auto registration and plates is not an exciting task, but a necessary one. What a seamless and easy transaction with them! I was treated to a very pleasant and professional lady with my phone inquiry and given precise and accurate information. My husband went to their office for the completion of what we needed, and was also met with the same positive experience. Went to this place to title our car from out of state a year ago. Now a year later after we didn't receive a renewal notice for the vehicle and contacting the dmv we were told that the vehicle wasn't on the system? So we recently went back to Tisdales to see what the issue was. Apparently from what the woman told us the problem was that they had entered the VIN number (last letter was a 9 and they had entered a 1) in to the system wrongly? So I asked the woman how could this have happened and what penalties or other was being charged for THEIR MISTAKE. She said that there wasn't any and she would take responsibility for it....this was a lie! we ended up paying a $31 dollar penalty on top of the registration fee. This same situation happened to my father when he was titling his out of state vehicle in which they entered the VIN in the system wrong. I believe this us a scam on their part to collect additional money from the customer. WE WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN! BEWARE OF THIS CROOKED OPERATION. read more
