I bought my Titan Sidekick II in January of 2026. Not only has it helped with my daily driving, but it has also significantly reduced my stress levels. I do hotshot/expeditor/Last-Mile-Gig deliveries all over Arizona. My 2015 Ram 1500 Quad Cab 4x4 gets about 20 miles to the gallon on average, whether I am towing my 7K trailer or just deadheading back to civilization. My truck has a 26-gallon tank; the extra 15 gallons add 300 miles to the distance I can go or return from. I also purchased the USB-C Rechargeable pump at the same time, and the investment has paid itself off several times over. I have a 2001 F350 7.3ltr diesel with a factory 30-gallon tank. As you know when you are pulling and hauling it seems like you just started going and you need to fuel up again. NOT ANYMORE! I drove to Titan's location in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Glad I did. The facility is great with the staff super friendly. They set me up in a waiting area where I could run my business, furnished me with coffee and water, gave me a tour of the facility and where it happens, the making of the tanks. A few hours later and the job was done. From 30 gallons to 60 gallons with Titan's tank fitting where the factory tank was located. FANTASTIC! I have since taken several road trips where I was able to pass up $5, $6, and $7 for diesel. It felt great! My range is now 1000 miles between fill ups. I would highly recommend Titan Fuel Tanks. Bought this fuel tank from a local dealer headed installed in my 2022 Chevy Silverado 2500 unfortunately I was never told that my fuel gauge would not work after installing it and that they don't currently have a fix for it after knowingly selling This product. Then had to turn around and buy and external monitoring system so I would have a working fuel gauge all the time. One of the absolute best upgrades I ever did for my 2002 F350 truck. It's been five or more years (?) since I did this and I could not be any happier. Having the range that this fuel tank gives me lets me save money by buying fuel at Kroger-brands fuel centers routinely at $1.00 a gallon cheaper - up to 35 gallons every time I fill up. As people sit stuck on mountain passes in their electric cars fretting over the percent charge they have left while they are stalled on the interstate, I just think about how much more secure I feel knowing I have range in my truck at an affordable price. So here's the deal; I called them six months ago about a bigger fuel tank for my 2021 Chevy Silverado Diesel. They said they had one in stock but if I could wait, they'd video an installation for my truck and they'd do it all for free! Of course I said yes, and I sat back and waited. Sire enough, couple of months later, they called and said they were ready to install the tank, great. Drove my truck approximately 150 miles to their company headquarters for the install. The installer took one look at the truck and said it was the wrong model! My contact apologies and said when the tank becomes available they'll call me. I bought a 2013 F350 dually new in 2013. I was going to transfer my 40 gal in bed tank from my 1999 F350. The Ford dealer told me about the Titan 65 gal tank to replace the factory 36 gal tank. Best decision I ever made. They re calibrated the truck computer system to recognize the 65 gal tank. I pull a 37 ft 5th wheel RV and have a 600 mile range, so I don't have to search for a place to refuel while I'm towing. I have had NO problems with this tank at all. We sold our '06 Ram 3500 Cummins longbed to a family member and bought an '18 shortbed then discovered our newer one didn't deliver the fuel mileage we'd gotten used to with the older one despite the claims to the contrary. As we do rural camping areas with our toy hauler we needed that edge. Did a lot of research to find the best choice was to replace the stock tank, and Titan was the most preferred. We called Dave at Titan's home to ask about installation and he referred us to an excellent local shop (T & A Performance, McCarran, NV.) where he would have the tank there within a week. it took less than a week and we had the truck back the same day it was installed!!! The only drawback is with the onboard computer which doesn't recognize the larger capacity when calculating Miles To Empty, but that's not an issue as the fuel gauge reads 100% correctly. I woke up on Sunday morning to find diesel leaking out of my Ram 3500 tank. Someone had drilled a hole to steal fuel, probably thinking it was gas. My neighbor's F150 gasser got drilled too, but was almost empty and they got nothing. I stopped the leak with a screw and contacted my insurance company to file a claim. It took me until Tuesday to get the claim settled and a check on the way to replace the tank. Because the original tank is plastic it cannot be repaired and must be replaced. On Wednesday I called Titan Tanks to see about getting a larger tank to replace the OEM model because I was planning on doing the install myself. Titan said it would be 2 to 3 weeks until they had a tank. I told them I was needing it sooner because of my situation. They said they would find me a tank and I would get a call. A short time later I got a call from a local business, Cuschieri Auto and Truck Repair, saying they could get me a tank in a couple of days. By the end of the day I had the tracking information for the tank and it would be here on Friday. The tank arrived mid-day Friday as promised. On Saturday I had a problem with the install and texted James who made suggestions that helped and I was able to solve the problem. When everything was reconnected I filled the tank as suggested to be sure the install was okay, and there were no leaks anywhere. I bought a 60 gallon in-bed auxiliary fuel tank for my GMC diesel pickup and had it shipped to me. I had a Dura Max service center near me install it. It has the electronic controller and pump transfer system. The service center said they could not make the cover for the sending unit stick using the double-sided tape Titan supplied with the tank. I figured I might as well make sure everything was working correctly and transferring before I put the cover on myself. It has been working like a charm so far so today I went ahead and installed the cover. I have to say the cover installed with the double-sided tape is indeed quite Mickey Mouse, like I had told Mitch at Titan when he sent me another roll of tape. I followed all the directions perfectly, but I do not think the tape is going to hold it. I think I could just live without the cover, but why should I have to? That is why I didn't give Titan the highest rating. read more
