Titanic has always been of our go-to restaurants in the area for take-out and, until this weekend, we have rarely been disappointed. The chicken cheese steak sandwiches we ordered were very disappointing with only a small layer of chipped chicken on the bun and very little cheese to be found. The fries were barely warm and soggy. So many of the restaurants in our area have gone downhill, especially in the summer once the crowds show up. We will likely give Titanic one more chance, and hope this was just an off weekend for them, but if the food portions and quality decline the same way as many of the other eateries have, we will not continue to support them. read more

Probably good pizza is you like thicker crust. It was a bit too much for me. But this was our first visit and just a carry out order of a cheese pizza and a white pizza. I thought the white pizza was pretty good, even with the thicker crust. The pizzas looked beautiful, just not exactly my favorite type, but one person in our grouped loved it! read more

Someone needs to please explain to me where all these positive reviews of Titanic Pizza come from! None of them remotely resemble the Titanic experience that we had to endure. The food is absolutely awful. How anyone can say the pizza is good, let alone the best in Delaware, is beyond me. It's not even cooked in an oven! It's conveyor belt pizza, same as Costco! It takes like cardboard with a sweet, red sauce. It's terrible. We also had the chicken parmigiana dinner. It, too, was poor. The chicken was wafer-thin, overly breaded and cooked beyond recognition. It was tough to cut with a sharp knife. The spaghetti side had the same nasty sauce and was inedible. The restaurant only serves 5 draft beers, no bottles, none of them particularly good. The wines are bottled and served in mini-containers with a plastic lid on top. I believe there are two whites and two reds for your choices, all made and bottled by the same company. No one has ever heard of this vineyard. It's dreadful. How can an Italian restaurant not have a wine list or at least serve some better wines with labels that people actually recognize? I could go on, but why bother. No need to consider going back. read more

Stopped here for lunch with family, on the way home from the beach. I saw some reviews on here but still wasn't sure how the food was going to be. Everyone was craving pizza, so we decided to take the risk and stop by. Let me tell you, so glad we took the risk because the pizza was top tier! Maybe not the best pizza I've ever had, but I would definitely put this on my top 10 list. Below you can find a more detailed description of my visit. Ambience (5/5) - I got a very small town pizzeria vibe at this place. Really cute! Cleanliness (5/5) - Everything from the table we were sitting at, to the bathroom was spotless. You don't always find clean bathrooms at places, so this was very much appreciated and noted. Service (5/5)- Our server was a sweet lady. She was very attentive and constantly checked in on our table, to make sure we had everything we needed. Food (5/5)- We got an order of old bay seasoned fries and one large pizza. Living nearby we've had many fine to-go meals from here . We are particularly big fans of the lasagna meal deal, which, for $13.99 (as of 4/25/22) includes an extremely generous serving (usually enough for 2+ meals), salad and garlic bread that, while basic, is really tasty. It's a very thick lasagna, and they do a really good job with the ricotta, which some places don't do well. Takeout service is quick and efficient. Other than having to wait in line behind a customer or two, our orders have always been ready to go at the time promised, and we've never had an issue with accuracy. Also on the menu: The Smokin D'z BBQ is a treat in the off-season, when the nearby stand isn't open. I've had the pizza a couple of times. It's.... fine. Nothing special, but certainly not bad. New pizza place and was around the area so decided to give them a try. Ordered the #4 special with a medium cheese pizza & 10 wings and soda. The pizza look and taste like a Grottos/Dominos pizza, not too impressed. The crust is soft with no texture. I like my wings crispy even with sauce on them and these were drowned with sauce and soft. There aren't a ton of options near Broadkill Beach that will deliver, and they did the trick. The steak and cheese was very good and made to order though my wife wasn't crazy about her meatball sub, it was not a matter of preparation, just not her flavor profile (she likes her meatballs with a crust/fried) The chicken fingers were standard fare but well within the "decent" column for delivery - they scratched the itch. My daughter LOVED the mozzarella sticks, but she's also 10 and it's her primary food group. I have mixed feelings on the pizza - it would have been very good if the crust was cooked better/longer/hotter. The cheese and sauce were solid, as were the toppings, but the floppy, doughy, seemingly undercooked crust (we got the square) was disappointing. Fix that, and it's pretty darn good. Kudos for delivering out to S. Bayhsore Dr., so I don't want to be harsh. A very nice gentleman took our order and it was a few minutes past their stated delivery time, but we weren't in a hurry. Heard awesome things about their pizza. We tried it and it was pretty tasteless. Didn't care for it at all. It was 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 meatball. I got the worse migraine after eating the pizza. Called to inquire if perhaps they use MSG in the pizza or have them in the meat products. Girl who answered had no idea. Guy with accent called me back quite irritated. I was just inquiring, not angry, not demanding. Just trying to find if we could return to the restaurant for future meals. His attitude kind of sealed that answer. Will not return. read more

We have ordered numerous times and even have recommended. We had an issue last time with a cheesesteak we ordered but they made right, although reluctantly, and we also had ordered pizza and it was not as good as always but figured it was an off night. We decided to try again tonight and called at 6 pm to order a pizza and were told 20 minutes. We waited 45 and finally asked for a refund. Miraculously our order was ready to come out of the oven as soon as we asked about the refund . They threw in a slice of cheesecake for our troubles. We had inquired about the status while waiting and were never given a new estimate of time. My theory is they forgot about our order. Mistakes happen but the owner just didn't care. The pizza is just Ok. Actually I did not like at all. The wings are above average. Suggestion: if ordering delivery on a weekend night - DONT - you may be retired for the night in bed before it shows up. Waited over 2 hours ( they are 12 minutes from my house) No fault of the driver - he should be tipped generously as not his fault. Probably just a staffing issue - unfortunate.
