I make it a hobby of trying pizza places in the areas depending on where I am, and unfortunately DE is not where I recommend people go for pizza. Out of all the places I have had in the rehobeth and millsboro area, this place is average, and they forgot to give me a recipe and my blue cheese that I asked and paid for. The guy I ordered with on the phone spoke really rough English and he couldn't understand me well so it made ordering complicated. The delivery service and ordering service were mid at best and I probably won't be ordering again. Online the restaurant looks average and doesn't have anything special going for it to set it apart. On a weekday in Millsboro we needed to feed a group-found this place on Yelp so I decided to give them a call based on their reviews-I was not disappointed. I ordered two plain, two pepperoni and a sausage, and all feedback was great. They brought napkins and cups, along with the two liters we ordered. Delivery driver was prompt and the food was warm. As a huge pizza fan and someone who prides themself on making a pretty decent dough / pizza from scratch, I've enjoyed tasting all the pizza within a half hour of Rehoboth Beach since moving back to the east coast a year ago. Delizia's is the real deal, NY / Philly style pizza I grew up with many years ago in Philadelphia. Have been surprised how different Delaware pizzas are from one another and how different they are from a traditional NY style pizza. Many tasty pizzas in this area with their Delaware style and charm, but for legit NY style Delizias is the only one that comes close in my opinion. For this area around Long Neck they have the best pizza for Delaware . The secret however is that you must order the pie well done and to go easy on the cheese , otherwise the tip of each piece is floppy and very wet. The bottom of a pie should be firm and crispy. Ordered pickup online at 5:56 and was given a 30-35 minute time. Arrived for pickup and they were swamped with unhappy customers who had waited well over an hour for their orders. Two people showed up claiming they requested delivery and after 2 hours of waiting they decided to drive to the shop. Asked about my order and was told it would be another 30 minutes. At 6:50 I asked about my order again. A different women checked my online order, said it hadn't come through, apologized and said she just put my order in and it would be another 30 minutes. I told her the other woman already did that 30 minutes ago. Finally at 7:55 I got my order. 3 pizzas and a sub. All they could say was sorry, they were really busy. Flavor was good but pizza was doughy and floppy. Even after waiting 2-hours they were still hastily preparing food to get it out and the quality seemed compromised. It appeared to be a family ran business. They were NOT short staffed in anyway (except the owner was the only one delivering pizzas). They lack communication and organization. How long does it take to cook a pizza? No one could answer this question. read more

Been hangin' out at the pool at the Sea Esta 2 motel next door. Had a few adult beverages so my review could be slightly skewed. The German pizza was fantastic. Not really sure what makes it "German" but, who cares? Also had a regular Stromboli. Great pizza. It's a very small place, not really set up for a dining experience, just a quick bite. The owners make their own dough and sauce and use real cheese and fresh toppings. My five year old daughter exclaimed that it's great to finally be able to eat a real pizza in Delaware. The 1st time we tried their pizza, soon after it opened, we were happy with the results. Then we ordered a pizza and wings a few days ago, and it was the worst we ever had. The bottom of the crust was inedible, thin, but tough like leather. scraped the toppings off and ate that. The wings were small, I think they may have been pigeon instead of chicken.
