I like a good plate of biscuits and gravy and their sign says it's good so I thought I would try it and wished I hadn't. The sausage was delicious and the gravy was so so. It was the biscuits with a heavy cinnamon taste that roughened it for me. I like cinnamon and if I was having biscuits and jam I may not of mind but it was the first time in my 60+ years that I had cinnamon biscuits and gravy in my life and never will again!! We also had the potato and ham strata and the only thing I really liked about it was the cheese on top. The place was busy though so somebody likes it. read more

This coffee and tea stand just opened in the neighborhood and I'm very impressed so far! They feature fresh roasted beans from Sisters Coffee Company and also have some offerings from Gimme Coffee. They have a small gravel parking area near the truck, some outdoor seating sheltered from the wind, a fire pit, loyalty punch cards, and accept cash and cards (not sure about Apple Pay). The owner, Laurie, and her compatriot, Nick, were very friendly and generous on each of my recent visits (e.g. by asking my name, offering dog treats for the puppy, giving sample shots of "Leftist" espresso to myself and another customer, and even sending me home with cup of Gimme Coffee Ethiopian beans to utilize at home). Way to butter up those new customers ;-) I'm a home coffee roaster and somewhat picky about my coffee establishments (some might deride me as a coffee snob). So far, I am really pleased by the quality of the coffee at Tite Knot and I love being able to walk to a stand right in the neighborhood. Keep up the excellent work! read more

Such a cute little coffee truck tucked away with a beautiful outdoor seating area. The gentleman working the window was wonderful, which always makes the experience that much better! Went for a walk on a mission to FINALLY try Tite Knot coffee! I've been eyeballing this spot since they opened and what better way to spend a morning. They serve coffee out of the cutest little spot with amazing baked goods and pastries available as well. I was quite tempted by the delicious carbohydrates at eye-level but passed this time. Next time the scones won't be so lucky and neither will my hips but I can tell it'll be worth it! They are currently undergoing some construction but that doesn't take away from the sweet setup they have. I ordered an iced mocha, and usually find these to be bitter or watered down. However it's as if angels were singing when I took that first sip. Wonderfully thick, didn't need extra flavor or sweetener, the espresso was on point and just delightful. BEST MEXICAN MOCHA EVER! No seriously, they actually use cayenne (which most places don't for some reason), they also use fresh ground cinnamon. It's amazing and deserves to be in your face. Cute business in the older part of Redmond. Perfect summer time breakfast or coffee stop. They have a nice area set up outside with tables and chairs that allow for dog or kid friendly sitting. My husband stopped by this morning to grab us a coffee since we are out. We consider ourselves a little bit of coffee snobs- we tend to have high standards. We don't like burnt coffee, and we don't often gravitate towards lots of sugar or milk in our coffee. He ordered two black coffees and YUM! Such good coffee. Nice owners and wonderful area to sit. I had a latter and a raspberry scone and both were wonderful. They have an indoor area which I did not check out because I sat outside where the tables and chairs were nicely spread out.
