I was jogging by this place one day while my child was in a tutor session across the street and was like , wow this would be a great thing to keep me busy for an hour since I can't go far . But it's a boxing club , maybe it's too advanced for me ? I walked in and inquired about it. The staff was so friendly and welcoming . They assured me that anyone at any skill and fitness level could do a boxing class . And they offered me a free class . However I would have to buy my own gloves and wrap which were 25 dollars for the set . I figured why not , I got nothing to lose ( except weight ) and if I don't like it , it was free and I don't have to go back . So I signed up to take it! Since I was new they came over , helped me get my gloves on and essentially said if the moves get too complicated , just punch ! The class is fast pace ; 8 rounds consisting of 3 mins of punching and in between a min or two of squats / jumping jacks . It was so much fun , it was a high intensity workout but I didn't feel pressured when I need to break for a min or when I didn't know the combos and just stood there acting a good punching ! It's a little pricey at 35 dollars a class but they do offer deals if you sign up .

equipment in great condition, no weird gym smell, loaner gloves were in excellent shape. They have more than 20 heavy bags

Awesome place the owner Darryl is a great guy very reasonable compared to other gyms in the area. For the workout: I have been boxing for 5 years until I tore my ACL and meniscus I have just been starting to workout again and I can tell you this gym has the best boxing cardio workout I've been to. If you're looking to get back in shape this is definitely the place to go for boxing fitness in Virginia, the price is reasonable and the workout is great. Other gym goers are nice no one with attitude very friendly gym. What made this place different is the owner, Darryl was really easy to work with about price and sign up fees was not pushy at all like other gyms. Whatever you're looking to do, lose weight or to get to the basics of boxing this is definitely a great place to start.

This is the only gym in the neighborhood that makes you QUARANTINE for 14 days just to start your trial class. You are not allowed to drop in, have to make 48 hour prior appointment for a class because of covid. It's 2022. Even our government doesn't have restrictions anymore. Why are they being paranoid? Their website said I can provide a negative result to take the class faster so I told them I'm willing to provide negative test result. Then the management literally replied with a threat saying "we will ban you if you show up before 14 days." Then they sent me another email saying they won't accept me as a member and etc while I was writing this review. How do you expect to teach people martial arts when you are this paranoid, rude, and irrational? I've been to few local gyms here but this is by far the worst experience just by contacting them. Glad I didn't even waste my time attending here.

Small group weight training is top notch, with tailored workouts for to meet your physical (and arguably mental) health needs. Trainers are unbelievably competent and supportive! I have significant health concerns, and I truly believe that this gym is part of the reason I stay well. Also, they have really cultivated community, so I have become friendly with so many of the people who train alongside with me. This gym is a gift to yourself. I hope you check it out soon!

I had done exercise programs on and off (mostly off) over the years. I knew how important exercise was but I hated it. It was either boring, or it wasn't convenient, or it was hard to stay motivated. Today, I have never felt stronger or more confident. In fact, to my huge surprise, when my job was causing serious stress, all I could think was, "I NEED a workout today." I have never said that in my life! The coaches at UA are top-notch professionals. They take their work seriously, celebrate with you, and are encouraging. I look forward to seeing the coaches -- they are energetic, friendly, supportive, and have taught me a tremendous amount. This contributes greatly to me staying motivated to keep coming back and improving. Getting a new program each month also helps stave off the typical boredom of a "regular" gym. Something else that was unexpected but great nonetheless -- there is a wide variety among UA's members (age, gender, physical shape, natural ability, etc.). I am inspired by and feel comfortable around my fellow UA-ers b/c they each face their own challenges. I highly recommend you give UA a shot. (The also have a location in Sterling, VA.)

I explained that I work 18hrs shift and my only day off Saturday. She proceeds to tell me that I still need to come in and sign the cancellation contract. However, it was so easy that make this so easy to sign up but when you want to cancel, it's so difficult. Then tells me: "Hey, while you are here come workout"! Honestly, this wasn't funny at all to me. She was trying to be light hearted in this situation. I explained to her that it's my only day off and I wouldn't like to come in just to cancel a membership, & wanted to sleep in. I then asked if there another method of canceling. She proceed to say "No, it on the contract". Well you know what I reviewed the contract and it says "All notices under this agreement maybe delivered in person to the club, or sent via certified mail to Title Boxing Club - Springfield 6228 Rolling Rd, Unit F, West Springfield, VA 22152." I'm no lawyer but this sounds like another option. I'm not mad that, I paid 5months for not attending. That's my fault for not being proactive on cancelation. I'm a returning member and to be treated like this, I'll never return to this establishment. I had good results when I originally joined and the second time joining I had positive results. The gym looks worn from when I first started. That didn't matter cause I was there to get back in shape. Wednesday at 12 was the day I attended the class. However, they lost Abby, and that trainer was replaced by Rico. Abby and Rico was great! Now there isn't any schedule for 12pm Wednesday. Also I tried the other trainers and they are okay but I didn't get a great work out with them. I'm not saying they were bad, but Abby and Rico had me dying in a good way! I hope the owners: Marcus and Chijoke are reading this. My intent was to rejoin at a later date. After this incident you lost me and the four individuals that signed up with me. I'm completely disgusted how it's so easy to join but when you need cancel they make it so difficult to do so and tack on another 30days fee. To me it seems they are just in it to make money. I will be emailing corporate also. You will get results here. The two best trainers are there anymore. Maybe they gotten someone to fill Abby and Rico spot?!?

I got there 20 min early for a Saturday 9:30a class (45 min class) The guy at the desk was really nice and once I purchased the hand wraps and rented the gloves ($5 rent for gloves and $15 for hand wraps to keep), he showed me the little lockers and I put my bag and jacket in before he wrapped my hands. He was very patient and then showed me the punches and technique a few times. Since there was still about 10 min before the class started, he should I could practice or look around the place. The area is clean and spacious, and I really liked that even though it was a weekend and it wasn't super early, it was only half full. Abby was the trainer and she was awesome; super easy to talk to, kind and patient. Before class she asked if if I had prior experience with boxing and I told her I only went and messed with a the bag myself at a gym once, and she asked if I was taught the punches and stance, etc. I was worried people would be watching me but once I realized everyone is focused on their own bag, I slowed myself down rather than trying to keep up, and really focus on the moves Abby was calling out. During the second half, I had felt like I finally caught into the technique. Overall it was super fun and as fulfilling as I was expecting :) she checked in with me in the end as well and told me she noticed I slowed down and caught on so I'm glad they give each person attention, especially bc I was new :) Class structure: 7 min warmup, 8 rounds (3 min each) of boxing, and 7 min core. Before I knew it, the class was over! The staff was very kind, efficient and attentive. I will definitely be returning to take more classes !

I've been here ever since over a year now! I came in knowing nothing, but working one-on-one with Coach Zach helped me build a solid foundation and grasp the fundamentals of BJJ and MMA. The personal sessions also helped me fast forward my progress and discover who I was in my training. I'm incredibly grateful for all the coaches Zach, Wyatt, and Calvin for everything they've taught me. Their coaching styles are consistently encouraging, patient, and intentional. You can tell that they have poured out a lot into the students here by the way they remember your progress, push you with care, and treat every small win like it matters. They really care. They care not just about technique but about you as a person, and that makes all the difference. If you're thinking about joining, do it you'll be in good hands. For other studios, I often dragged myself to class just to finish a class package, but for BASH I get so excited and pumped to go. It's been about 2 months here and I'm already 30 classes in! BASH is a combo of boxing and high intensity strength training for 45 minutes. Half of us start with floor exercises while the other half is on the bags, and you switch 1 to 2 times, so class really just flies by. The punching bags are filled with water making it easier on joints compared to traditional bags too. The coaches here are all amazing... so energetic, friendly, encouraging, and motivating! I think they have a very good balance of knowing who you are, but not getting into your business (unless you want them to lol); and giving you pointers during class but also providing you plenty of space to just get a good sweat in. I really appreciate that. I also love how they encourage us to give fist bumps...it's such a simple act but really gives you a sense of camaraderie and encouragement!

Super convenient. There is parking just behind the gym if you drive there. I took the Bash, Box and Burn classes. For me the Box class was by far the best. It's extremely hard. Like no joke. It was great. Bash was really good too. Burn wasn't for me. It's more of a yoga class which is just not my thing. It was a little confusing given the brand but whatever. I should've read the details more closely when I signed up for that one. Also I have a wrist injury so couldn't do most of that class anyway. The Bash and Box classes go super fast so if you are unfamiliar with the six basic punches of boxing I would suggest getting a 101 class first just so you don't feel overwhelmed. Because it's so small it feels very community based. If tons of amenities are your thing this may not be the right fit. That said, I appreciated the towels and in the women's room there is a nice selection of toiletries. It also may not be right for anyone who needs adaptions due to injury. The classes just go too fast for that and all of the instructors are very young so maybe not super mindful of older bodies. It is very loud and tight quarters, by design but worth knowing in advance. There are free lockers. It was nice to see a huge diversity of ages, bodies and genders in the clientele. Good vibe.
