Despite what they advertise, the burritos are not humongous. In fact they are smaller than Chipotle's, with lesser quality ingredients to boot. Next time I want a microwavable burrito, which Tito's is comparable to, I'll go to the grocery store and save myself $8.75 (no drink included). read more

I work as a Paramedic/Nurse on the night shift. I travel all over to different hospitals. This particular night we took a patient to Overlook hospital which is far from our general area. My partner and I where set on our usual spots. So after finishing up at the hospital our BLS recommend this spot. We looked at each other and said why not. Its a half mile from the hospital so it was close. Its a small place in downtown summit. I ordered the quesadilla which I usually do at these types of places. When I got my order its was delivered in a pizza box. Confused I opened it and saw the biggest quesadilla I have ever seen. Big in size and big in taste. Just like me I finished the entire thing and was stuffed the last few bites. They have a salsa bar to help yourself with different flavors and levels of spiciness. My partner got an order of wings and all I could hear was damn these things are hot! So if you're in the area stop by you won't be disappointed. Always a solid meal. The Big Easy or The Bird is my norm. I've been to both Morristown and Summit locations many, many times. Always fresh and good. If I want a burrito, then I want Tito's. Forget about Qdoba, Tinga and Chipotle. Tito's is the spot. There are only a few tables in this little place, so we usually get take-out. The guacamole isn't that great, but everything else is delicious! The fish tacos are tasty, but I usually get a chicken burrito. The service is fast and friendly. First off, The Bird continues to be my usual burrito, and the empanadas have gotten crispier and more delicious, so I would definitely still recommend stopping in for a bite when you are in town and looking for something filling and not too expensive by Summit standards. However, while the Tito's staff and management are very nice, and their food is good, the delivery service has really gone downhill over the last few months. We've had several nights where delivery has taken over an hour, and the food has been cold, as well as problems with the wrong food being delivered. I've talked to the staff there, and they have assured me that they are working on it. I think they are dealing with the problems that come with popularity and too much demand as they expand delivery service. Still, delivery has become a bit of a gamble lately. I've never had any problems with carry out orders, so, for now, I would recommend staying away from delivery until they work out the kinks, and taking the extra time to dine in or pick up in person. read more

Really casual sit down place. The food is amazing and take out is fast and easy. The tiny place is usually packed, mostly because of takeouts. I recommend getting a takeout instead of sitting down, especially on like a Friday or Saturday. Seriously, the food is so good and not too expensive but there is not much seating that's all. Gotta love the California surf vibe going on at Tito's. The fish burritos and tacos are great and the daily special burritos are usually pretty good too. My favorite burrito is one with blackened chicken and cheese called "the big easy". They have lots of good salsas ranging from mild to spicy, hot sauces, and now they have pickled veggies too. They even have those Jarrito's Mexican sodas which are pretty good with the food. The best part about working in Summit was Tito's. read more

The portions are huge. I know you get a lot of food at Chipotle or Qdoba, but the burritos here truly are huge. You can get the burrito with a traditional tortilla or a whole wheat tortilla. They give you a lot of rice with the burrito, so if you are not terribly hungry, I would suggest asking for less rice. Its very tasty and not nearly as spicy as the chain restaurants. It is a bit more pricey for a burrito here than it is at one of the chain burrito restaurants, but it is worth it. You also receive chips with your burrito. With the chips you also have your choice of salsas to put on them at a help yourself salsa bar. read more

A little taste of paradise in little old Summit, NJ! I've been coming to Tito's in Summit for a few years now and I can honestly say that my first impression (which was great) has stuck with me through all this time. This little place in the middle of downtown has the feel of something greater, walk in there and you'll be met with a really cool staff, a very nice vibe (thanks to the chill music and the sweet surf/skate/snowboarding vids [depending on when you're there]), and (most importantly) some REALLY great food. - The Staff: These dudes (and chicks) all seem like they actually WANT to be there (how many other restaurants can say that?)! They will talk to you like they know you whether it's your first time or your 300th, so be prepared to encounter people who won't shy from making a joke or two or getting into a conversation (they may even tell you what to order if they don't think you're doing what's right for you!!!). All in all they are very cool, though, these people know what they're doing and they're there to serve. - The Vibe: When was the last time you were at the beach? I was there earlier today, at least that's how it felt when I went in there for lunch and this surf shack looking place is playing reggae or dick dale or any other number of island songs. There always seems to be an interesting old video (think 70's z-boys or 60's surfer dudes) playing that I can never take my eyes off of. Then check out the walls, the floor, the bathroom, EVERYTHING...this place is just cool, man. You may be tempted to walk in there barefoot (which seems to be a theme with them on one of their shirts and stickers). - The Food: Oh man, you may need to start off slow with the Bird (is the word [now I can't get that song out of my head!]) and then move on to something a bit more advanced. I love the Big Easy (blackened chicken...nice) and the tacos, but what I really love are the specials, I've made it a point to ask what the specials are when I call in an order because I always used to end up walking in to pick up my food and seeing the special on the board and being upset that I didn't get it. Last, but not least, these guys aren't kidding when they say they have really great wings! I always dismissed the idea of getting buffalo wings at such a great burrito shack until a friend ordered them one day and I had a few...I was HOOKED! Get them "double overhead" and your mouth will love you for it....DON'T get the "wings of death" unless you actually have a death wish, OUCH! So that's it. Tito's is cool, eat there when you can but save me a seat in this tiny little piece of paradise. P.S. - I can't let you go without telling you to check out the awesome assortment in the fridge! Coke is so BLAH (although they have that, too, of course), get some Mexican soda or a wacky brightly colored/flavored lemonade or some good iced teas, you can even BYOB and mix a bit of your own hard stuff in the slushies they have. Just moved back to NJ after a 15 year stint in ABQ and Flagstaff, AZ. I'd been desperately missing good tacos and burrito, so I was thrilled to hear that Tito's was opening in Ridgewood. Greats eats!! Try the Mac Daddy...That's the steak burrito. I'd be re-miss if I didn't tell you to get the wings. They take a little longer than the rest of Tito's menu items because they're cooked fresh. Man oh man-o-shevitz!! Those wings are worth the wait!! Don't miss the fresh guacamole! It's awesome! My boyfriend and I stumbled across Tito's last year while in Summit and had a good dining experience. However, I had not realized how great Tito's is until tonight when my boyfriend and I went to pick up some takeout. We brought home the mac daddy burrito and a dozen wings. The burrito is amazing and delicious, with the perfect ratio of the ingredients wrapped to perfection. I have to say - I have not had such a good burrito in a long time. The wings were delicious as well. The service can be a bit slow but they told us the wings did take 15-20 minutes to make, so it was understandable. Overall, a great and delicious option in Summit. I always go to Tito's. I live in town and it's always my favorite place. I order online most of the time because I work up the block and it's easy to just run in and grab. However, I was charged $10 more than what my receipt said. The employees added a 20% tip after I already tipped them 10%. Never ordering from here again. Not trustworthy with my money and I am disappointed. I have heard this happen to many people too and nobody is doing anything to change it. I loved titos too, such a shame. read more

Tito's Burritos is like the Mexican equivalent of the Village Trattoria. They have super creative burritos with very fresh ingredients, but they're a very Americanized place. The food is fast and delicious. I usually get the bird which is really good. I have yet to venture out and try their fish burritos, which I will eventually unless the bird keeps tweeting at me. read more

The food was good. I ordered an avocado salad with black beans and rice. The servings were perfect, but beware, they put of lot of cheese on the rice. Next time I will make sure not to get cheese. My only reason for low stars is because I had to wait so long for such a simple order. I watched about 5 people get served huge nacho plates before I had to ask what was up. I really, really liked this place! I had the special of the day...Chipotle shrimp burrito... it was DELICIOUS! The guacamole was also super good! I'm a fan. Being latina, I know what this stuff is supposed to taste like, ie perfect balance of lime, salt, etc... and it's good. For a lunch joint, it's awesome... I was happy and satisfied when I left. Hubby had the Hang Five Burrito - shrimp, cabbage, etc.. very limey taste - which we love. He was curious about the wings but didn't think they were very good - again, it's a burrito joint. Want wings, go to a wing joint. You can get a whole wheat tortilla if you'd like and I noticed (after leaving) that they also have brown rice. They also have veggie/vegan options :) read more
