    Simply yum
    Kristin U.

Damn good cheese slice. Thin crust chewy but not doughy, salty topping without being overly cheesy. Have not tried other pizza places in Seattle (yet), but opted for Tivoli since they were open for lunch. Husband also had the Caesar which had some extra crunch from the raddichio. Worth a stop if you're in Fremont.

Yum! I love the appetizers at Tivoli, and the pizza is solid too. The first time we came here we got the sesame noodles, caesar salad, and a split pizza. We thought everything that night was a bit over seasoned, but not enough to deter us from coming back. Our second trip, everything was more balanced. We swapped out the noodles for the squash, and didn't regret it. The pizzas are very big, and we love that you can split it so that you can try 2 different arrangement of toppings. While we haven't found a topping combo that we're crazy about, we love the crispy crust. Also, the beers on tap are nice and cold.

Half cheese, half pesto pizza for takeout 3/5

I have been wanting to try Tivoli for some time now after all the type I've been seeing on social media. I finally got to try their pizza for takeout! We ordered half cheese and half pesto. I'm writing this review in consideration of the fact that it was for takeout. We placed an online order. Super easy process if you're short on time. By the time we picked up and started eating the pizza, it had probably been ready for about 10-15 minutes. So the pizza was still warm, but definitely not as hot as it could be. The cheese was already a little hardened vs. gooey when fresh. The cheese pizza was okay, it had a little bit of a funky taste to it that I didn't love. I also wish the tomato sauce was more acidic. I really enjoyed the pesto sauce on the pesto pizza but wouldn't be able to eat more than one slice because I could get tired of the taste. I would probably order a tomato or margherita or cheese pizza next time with pesto on the side for dipping! The ranch was not our favorite as it was a little too rich and had a unique flavor to it. We did enjoy the chili crisp and would get that again next time! As the pizza got cooler, the crust became a little bit tougher to bite. I will definitely come back to give it another chance by dining in and eating it fresh.

We ordered the garlic knots to start and loved them. For pizza, we got a single pizza, half pepperoni and half sausage. There was surprisingly plenty of leftovers as we only ate 4 of the 8 slices. I had the Chotto matte and Grasshopper yo drink. Both were good. Service was great. Nice casual vibe inside.

We were looking for a spot for 8 people in Fremont before a concert, which was tough! Tivoli was perfect - nice and open, long tables, and friendly and attentive service. The cocktails were delicious and pizza super tasty! Definitely recommend for fun casual spot.

Braised pork shoulder, ricotta, mustard seed, and polenta. No longer on the menu, sadly.

I was pleasantly surprised to like this place, especially as Lupo is my favorite pizza place and in the same neighborhood. I enjoyed the pepperoni and pesto pizzas. I went in 2024 and they had a braised lamb shoulder on polenta item that was delicious, but is no longer on the menu. Plenty of sitting, great service, a bit of a bar/restaurant/chill vibe, on a nice street (walkable to Fremont tourist spots).

Went for a week night dinner and was able to get a table right away! Staff is super friendly and gave us a quick run down on menu & popular items. We ordered chilled pistachio noodles & mushroom pizza to share and we had more than half the pizza to take home. I really liked the pistachio noodles- lots of asian fusion flavors, big portion size, and very addicting! Pizza was also massive & very flavorful and had a nice crunch with each bite. Pizza was priced at $35+ so definitely more on the expensive side but it was worth it

The best part about traveling for work is trying a bunch of new restaurants. So on this trip, we went out as a large group for lunch to Tivoli. We ordered a bunch of different pizzas, and I tried the Black Star (kebab) pizza and the Pesto pizza. I also ordered a lemonade to wash it all down. The Pesto was very tasty, especially with a side of ranch. The black star was interesting, but just okay. And the lemonade was great. Overall, was a great experience, and would come back to try other pies.

As a pizza lover I had been itching to try this spot since its creation a couple years ago. It lived up to the hype and is definitely a welcome addition to the Seattle pizza scene. The place was super busy and we showed up about an hour before close. The host was great and got us a seat at the bar after a short wait. The bartender was awesome. Great vibes, extremely helpful, and wonderful service. They have a solid collection of local beers on draft and I got a Kolsch that hit the spot on a summer evening. We knew we wanted a classic pepperoni but we figured a small plate would be a good idea as well to tide us over until the pizza arrived so we got the tomato pie which the bartender recommended so we could try their dough in its most pure form. He said we should get their homemade whipped ricotta with it as well and let me tell you that is the play! I will always be getting the ricotta every time I come because it was so good! A total game changer that will enhance anything. The pizza itself was also great, the pepperoni was cupped, the cheese and sauce were well ratioed, and the crust was excellent and cooked to perfection. This was plenty of food for us on this occasion (and we even had some leftover pizza) but next time I would definitely want to try a salad or garlic knots or a roasted veggie or noodles or their ice cream in addition to getting a pie as everything looked great.

Come in and take a seat. Fast pizza and fast service. We ordered the special Hawaiian and didn't realize it was spicy. The kids couldn't eat it. The restaurant was kind enough to provide cheese slices because of our blunder. What good service! Big open area and very convenient to walk to location near the Fremont troll.

Super super yummy all around! A little pricey, but the vibe is great and the service is wonderful. We got the cheese pizza (add pesto), pepperoni, cauliflower (unexpected star), ceasar salad (super good) and the tomato pie.

Yes. Just yes. Came in here for lunch and we were immediately impressed by the number of rotating pizzas, draft beers, and even smoothies they had available. The place is large, but strangely not terribly loud. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The food was fantastic. We had an excellent Caesar salad with anchovy. Perfection! But the pizza was to die for. The crust was done absolutely perfectly. We had a pesto pizza and the kiddo had cheese. Again, perfection! Highest recommendation!

It's so hard to find good pizza in Seattle for whatever reason this place was actually quite good in my opinion I love their dough it was nice and crispy but almost too chewy sauce was pretty decent not acidic little sweetness cheeses decent not chewy had some good pull love the fact that they use something other than button mushrooms they're Caesar salad quite delicious very well presented the service is okay it just seems like it's very rushed that was only thing but I like how they working teams anytime anyone walks by you they check to make sure you don't need anything and I place this busy that's great I will go back anytime

My husband and I were leaving the National Nordic Museum and wanted to grab some food to take home…read moreso we decided to order online at Mean Sandwich. My order was ready at the time that was specified (also received a text when it was done) and according to what I read, they keep your food on a warmer while they wait for you to pick it up. How nice! $20 for a sandwich seems pricey, but let me tell you, they definitely make a MEAN sandwich! The Mean - THICK pieces of juicy corned beef with housemade mustard, pickled red cabbage and mint. The cross section of the sandwich looks insane! The combination of flavors is excellent. The Hama Hama Oyster Po'Boy - Deep-fried Hama Hama yysters with housemade remoulade and lemon-pepper mayo. I loved this. The oysteres were nicely fried with not too much batter. You could really taste the oyster and appreciate the texture. The French roll was also very nice. It was similar to a Vietnamese Banh Mi roll. Soft, but with a light crispness on the outside. Fully Loaded Skins & Ins - Skins & Ins are basically a mixture of fried potato skins and potato chunks so you get a variety of texture: thin and crispy, or soft and meaty. The fully loaded option adds toppings similar to that of a loaded baked potato (white sauce, spices, scallions, and super crunchy bacon bits). This was a nice change from having the usual chips or fries with a sandwich. Parking can be somewhat of a challenge in this area, but if you're able to make it over then I think it's worth visiting.

This small shop in Ballard is somewhere you likely wouldn't stumble upon, but it is definitely worth seeking out. The shop itself is fairly small with a few booths, some window seating, and a few tables. We ordered our food to go, but there were a few spots open so we could have dined in had we preferred. The owner of the shop was there and help share about the menu. You can tell he is passionate about his restaurant and he answered all our questions. We even got to talking to him about some of his books he has in the shop that are different sandwich books and he was so knowledgeable on them, the chefs and more. We tried 3 different sandwiches - the steak tartar, the mean (corned beef) and the wtk (fried chicken). All three were a wonderful combinations of ingredients you would not see on an average sandwich shop menu and all three were delightful. In addition to the sandwiches, they come with potatoes which were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside (aka. cooked to perfection.) We upgraded one of our potatoes to the loaded version and to no surprise it was also amazing. It runs on the slightly more expensive side for sandwiches, but for the quantity and quality you get it is worth it!

It wasn't quite incredibly tender, but the marinade added an absolute ton of flavor. more importantly, it was present plentifully throughout the sandwich, so practically every bite came filled with pork I also have to mention how packed together the ingredients are between the buns. when you start eating, it's inevitable that a quarter of the ingredients will fall onto the wrap below, leaving a nice secondary meal to finish off after the sandwich is done. the sandwich is packed incredibly tight during the wrapping process, but it unravels a bit while eating. for me, the major highlights of this meal was the onions and the aioli Starting with the onions, these may be the best I've ever had on a sandwich. They're caramelized amazingly, placed onto the sandwich in astoundingly large pieces, are crunchy, and there's just a lot of them. They're just wonderful both texturally and taste-wise. This sandwich is absolutely lathered with aioli - practically dripping with it. This boosted the overall flavor so much, especially because this aioli was addictingly good. In my experience, the amount of sauce has been directly proportional to how much I enjoyed a sandwich, and when the sauce is this good - it's even on the top of the bun! - i absolutely loved it Somehow the lettuce stayed crunchy despite all the otherwise wetness going on in the sandwich. Props for that The jalapenos were great as well for that extra bit of spicy - I would've loved to have more of them while the bread was toasted well, the one downside was i thought it was pretty hard and tough, which made chewing kind of difficult. I found my jaw to be pretty tired at the end after eating this. I would've much preferred a softer roll that's easier to bite into I've had similar sandwiches from Paseo and Bongos, and in my opinion this does edge out both of those Comparing to Paseo, the sandwich there has way more oil, making it more sloppy and I do like the bread there a lot better, but the pork feels richer and better marinated here (although less fatty), and the onions are definitely caramelized better here as well. Bongos has a pretty similar level of pork with more, but onions are definitely a step down What moves this place above those two for me is the amount of aioli used here far exceeds those other places, which just makes the overall eating experience better For the price (about 14 dollars) this is a really filling meal

While other Serious Pie locations tend to be semi-upscale-yet-casual pizza joints, this spot felt more like an afterthought with its small, dark space and decidedly hole-in-the-wall vibe. The good news is, the pizza was still delish, as it always is at Serious Pie. We enjoyed the sweet sausage pizza that has become a fave over the years, along with a couple of beers which were served in plastic pint "glasses". Okay, I'm sure this makes me sound like a beer snob, but plastic?! Good beer just doesn't taste good in plastic. (Unless you're at a frat party?) Our server (who, by the way, was excellent) later told us he'd accidentally used the wrong glasses for the beer; so apparently it's something they're fixing. Yay! It was also darn cold inside. We had to keep our coats on the entire time. A door between the restaurant area and the semi-open entrance to what appears to be their central storage area would most likely help. Again, this all probably seems a bit petty. I'll own that. But as someone who loves Tom Douglas and his restaurants, and has had great experiences at other Serious Pie locations, this one was a disappointment. Especially since they're charging the same (some might say elevated) prices as they do at the other locations. Maybe if they called it something else, to differentiate it? Serious Pie Lite? Semi-Serious Pie? I dunno, but I expected just a little bit better from this iconic local brand.
