Ate lunch here for our second visit. The place was pretty empty on a Wednesday afternoon, but I have seen the lot full in the evenings and weekends. There was a mistake on part of my husband's food, but the server immediately offered to have it remade and it was redone within minutes. Mistakes happen, not a big deal. We are big hot wing fans and I enjoyed my medium wings here. My husband said their hottest sauce was good, but not hot/spicy enough for him. (For comparison, he prefers Blazin wings at BW3.) The wings had enough sauce that they weren't dry, but they weren't wet, either. I had my wings with a side House salad, which was good. Many places offer a tiny plate of lettuce and tomatoes and call that a salad, but this was loaded. Their bleu cheese dressing was full of cheese chunks and really good. Also, told (in person) that you can call ahead and set up a reservation for a group, but when I do days in advance I am told no?? This was a great establishment to have a graduation party. It was a great space on the patio. Great customer service and a very friendly staff. My brother's graduation was a huge success and the food was amazing. I suggest the chips and Buffalo dip. The wings and shrimp are very good! read more

We visit huber heights a couple times a year visiting family, but this was the first time we visited TJ Chumps. My brother, who is retired military, lives in the area and goes to watch the Bills games every Sunday. The staff is super friendly, and the manager greeted him as soon as he saw him. He also put the Bills game on the tv right by where we were sitting, and we didn't have to ask, since he recognized him. We ordered wings. Good wings, for not being wings made in Buffalo. They could have been crispier, but they were way better than most wings you get outside of WNY. the Buffalo chicken dip was good, as was the chicken wrap. We also had the soft pretzels, Which were delicious. With the good food, good drinks, and super awesomeness management and staff, we will stop by again next time we are in Huber Heights. read more

I'm a buffalo wing fanatic. Wife brought me home an order of hot wings. There were 8 for $10.99. Got the "hot" sauce with blue cheese. The cook on them was ok, they were not too flabby, and that is about all I can say that was good. Blue cheese was lacking, the sauce was crap, and the price is absurd for the product. Service was great but I got the chicken wrap and the meat smelled funny kind of like canned chicken. Even my waitress thought it smelled funny. We walked in at 4:30 to an almost empty resultant. The hostess told us to sit where ever we wanted and our server would be over. Several minutes later the bartender came by and took our drink order. I ate here while visiting family in Ohio. Food was good and was a great portion size. I got the shrimp entree and would have easily feed two. Taste was good. Husband got a burger and he said it was good. Cousin got ribs and he really liked it. The place was noisy and loud, but it was a Friday night on St. Paddy's Day. They also had green beer, if you are into that. The name doesn't sound like it would be a good place but I'd try it again if I'm back in Ohio. Didn't really have much of a wait either. We recently had a retirement party in one of the side party rooms. We had roughly 30 people on a Sunday night. The wait staff was very attentive to us, we got our food quickly and it was all correct. We never had to wait for refills or anything. They greeted each of our guest as they arrived and took their drink order. They also provided us with cake cutting knives and take home boxes for our cake. Overall I was very happy with the service we got for our party and will host more parties there in the future. read more

Usually love the pork tacos. Look forward to them every summer. Last night mine were cold and slaw had pretty much nothing but celery. Will never get them again. Service was awful. Had to get up and ask for something to drink after being there over 20 minutes, had to get up and get the people I was with coffee and plates for our appetizers. We hosted a corporate event here in November, 2017. Over 40 people. The staff was great and very accommodating. No cost to rent party room, just had to order food and drinks. They even had a tailored menu for us. We will use them again!! read more

A little loud, maybe should turn the music down a fuzz but...Really good food. Try the pretzels, they're like the crispy creme of pretzels, seriously that soft and complemented with two fine cheeses. The entrée's were typical bar fare but possess far more flavor than I usually experience with the sports bar setting. The bourban chicken with quinoa as deliciously sweet but packed with more than just that sweet flavor. The grilled pork chops were drizzled with a smooth lemon butter. Kids menu as well, the Mac and cheese in as more than just a box of Kraft Mac n cheese and was surprisingly flavourful. Service was efficient and courteous, we will definitely be back. read more

I found a worm in my food. My fiance and I sat at the bar and ordered a takeout meal for our family. After getting home and eating the majority of my chicken salad plate I discovered a small worm mixed in with the pecans. After a bit of research, this appears to be a pecan weevil which resembles a wax worm used for fishing. I have contacted the local health department as well as local news companies to help spread the word that the food is not safe to eat. I have kept the food as requested by both of these agencies for further analysis. Avoid this restaurant at all costs. read more

The service was excellent. The staff was very friendly and efficient. However, the kitchen is in need of some work. The soup and BLT were both cool. My husband's wings were mediocre in his words. Not going back. Waitress took us to table, we told her another couple was joining us. Before we had our coats off or seated she asked for our drink order once and if we wanted an appetizer. We did not even know what products were available. We were not even in our seat yet and she asked a second time "So, you don't want an appetizer?" Had not had a chance to even pick up the menu! Servers were running around like rasberry ants. After food was served we counted 4 different waitresses ask how our food was and we had not taken one bite yet. Food was nothing remarkable. As we tried to eat and socialize waitresses were constantly walking by looking at our plates, very obviously. The very minute my husband took his last bite a waitress grabbed his plate. This happened to all 4 of us. The minute you put your last bite in your mouth they will grab your plate before you even start chewing! The girl that took my plate had a stack of dirtly plates (about 6) with a wine bottle on top. Not classy. Then came the huge issue. Brought the bill, took the bank card and was running all over the large back bar area with our card, directing other waitress, delivering beer to tables in the far back, kept watching her go all over performing other duties, with our bank card. At one point in time she handed it off to another waitress. Upsetting to say the least. She had it over 10 minutes. The couple that was with us had issues too. After trying the new Chumps location shortly after their grand opening, I can say I will definitely not ever be going back. To start, the hostess was rude when we asked if we could switch tables. She first led us to one of the high top tables, but we prefer to eat at a booth or a low table. It only took about 15 seconds to reseat us, but she acted like it was a huge inconvenience, snatching the menus away when my wife reached to pick them up to carry them over to our new table. It wasn't packed and it's not like we created a ton of extra work for her, so there was really no reason to scowl at us. The food certainly didn't make the experience any better. My wife ordered the fish and chips, and I got boneless wings with a side of onion rings. The fish pieces in the menu looked like a decent size, but what was brought out didn't look any better than the cheap Gorton's fish sticks you can get in the frozen food section at the supermarket. The fries shown in the menu also looked looked bigger. What she actually received were tiny little fries (not much bigger than Steak 'n Shake fries), and they were way overloaded with salt. And if my wife thinks something has too much salt, then it has WAAAAAAY too much salt. (It's weird, but she actually eats big rocks of salt as a snack, so I definitely trust her when she says the fries were too salty.) The fish and chips came to around $11, which is way overpriced for the garbage food they brought out to us. As for my meal, the only thing I liked was the onion rings. They were decent enough, and I feel like I got a fair amount of them for the price. The boneless wings though, were covered in way too much batter and it was overcooked. Good boneless wings should have just enough batter to give them a good coating and be nice and crispy, but the ones I got from Chumps were overbattered and crunchy. The only place I've had worse boneless wings is the Buffalo Wild Wings near the Kroger in Huber Heights. I forget exactly how much the wings were ($7 or 8$) and the onion rings were about $3. All in all, I was very disappointed. I've been to the Englewood location once and I remember thinking it was all right, but I would advise anyone reading this to avoid the new Huber Heights Chumps. The food was crap even for bar food standards, and was way overpriced considering how bad it was. They also serve alcohol on the premises, which is good considering you'd have to be wasted to think this level of service and food quality was anywhere near approaching acceptable. If you're looking for decent bar food in Huber Heights, I'd recommend Roosters or Fricker's. read more

Let's start off by saying that my stepfather and I can eat just about any wing regardless of taste and spiciness. We showed up and were sat after waiting about a minute for someone to even SHOW UP! They sat us next to a TV at the table. We waited nearly 10 minutes to even get drinks, which were constantly messed up. Instead of sweet tea, my stepfather got an unsweet tea a couple times. Then, we ordered nachos to start off. We waited 10 more minutes without even being checked on. The waitress showed up and took our orders. We waited after that for another 10 minutes. The place was so cold, my stepfather stepped outside to warm up. Finally, the main food shows up. The wings, despite one being BBQ and the other being Ancho Bourbon, both smelled and looked the same. Also, the nachos still hadn't showed up after 20 minutes. He also had ordered the Chicken Club, which came also. I took a bite of the BBQ wings I had ordered to find out they hardly tasted like BBQ. I honestly couldn't name one sauce that could've compared to the bland, subpar taste. He took a bite of the Chicken Club, which had cold meat and hardly any chicken at all. The whole sandwich was cold and had barely anything on it but bread. He ate half of it before dropping it on the plate in disgust. He ate the five wings that somehow was equal to "half-pound". The wings alone cost 8.00$ per plate. There was hardly any of the nasty wings there to begin with. We're about to pay the 30$ bill for the horrible service (we were checked on 3 times), subpar and bland food, and no nachos. We pointed out we had gotten no nachos. They gave a fake and rude apology and made up fake excuses to why they didn't have them out for us. They did however, take it off the bill. We never ate nachos. We paid the 30$ for the torture of going here and left as quick as possible. We're never going to visit another TJ Chumps, and we hope you don't make the mistake of doing so. Please find another restaurant that serves the same food such as the Buffalo Wild Wings in Springfield, or a Rooster's or Fricker's location nearby. My wife ordered the half side of ribs, while they weren't bad they definitely weren't good! The server was ok but it felt like they were in a hurry to get us out.
