This is an expensive place to shop but there are prices on n the low end. it's a comfort shoe place and if you want comfortable shoes, well you know, this is the place for it. I love to engage sales associate to see what level they are on. There's levels to sales and there's a developed skill for persuasion for closing a sales/getting a customer to buy or walk out empty handed or to make an actual purchase, one or more shoes. Sometimes it's the customer that knows whether they are buying or walking. Let me explain, briefly! A cordial greeting and offering assistance is key. You have to break the ice. I used to work for Bostonian/ Clark and Bakers Shoes. They had beautiful boots for women. Anyway- I greeted and broke the ice. The person said that they didn't have money to buy. Reading the potential customer - they were staring at the boots for about 5 minutes. I told her, it doesn't cost money to try on a pair of boots. Conclusion, she waked out, boots in hand. Commission sales mind you! On today 1/28/26 one sales rep greeted and broke the ice but did a relay to his associate. So I picked out the shoes that wanted to try. Levels - the customer comes in with one shoe in mind the sales rep should bring other styles close to desired shoe or another color. So I picked the shoes and made his job easy, very easy. One thing he did that I loved, he serviced me giving undivided attention and assisted me with putting on casual socks and help me put on the shoes. I had dress socks on and it gives a different fit. CONCLUSIONS-I walked out with multiple boots in hand. I basically sold myself the boots and scored $10 percent off. There are areas of improvements - if you greet the customer, seat the customer don't pass them off to someone else. Pro tip- aleays ask if there's a promotional sale. In my case. The promo was advertised. I'm a happy camper today willing to.... Inspire more, Yelp more!

I noticed a lot of the women's shoes that are on the shelves as of July 2026 are made of man made leather and not many leather options. I know it depends on the time of year but I found this to be quite disappointing especially when a lot of the shoes are $49 and up. With any Nordstrom Rack the inventory can change weekly. I want to put that disclaimer out there. During my recent visit, I did see some dresses in the rack that had some rips. Really visible ones and it was shocking. They were on a sale rack but they were visibly and terribly damaged. When we were in the store, no one greeted us or asked us if we needed assistance. I felt a little bothered by this as it did not seem on brand. We were in the store for about an hour and 15 minutes most recently. It may have been that it was about an hour before closing. When the location was closing, the person was very kind on the intercom and it was so nice. I remember being in Saks 5th Avenue a couple of years ago and they were yelling at customers to get out. The kind goodbye without feeling rushed felt like nice hospitality that would make one want to return to shop. Please note this location is on the second floor and an escalator or elevator is offered to arrive on the second level.

Last visit was fun, was able to get what I was looking for in a breeze. No sweat. Today visit is just alright. It's my hubby who had planned of fishing things. The sales lady was very friendly and helpful, and we found the exact size and type we were looking for. I was able to pick up some other items I needed while there, and the pricing was very reasonable - actually, equal to what I would find at dept stores, and competitive with Amazon.

We went in just to get an idea back in late February - pre pandemic. The owner take care of him and made him feel so comfortable. She was so friendly he insisted we buy a bomber jacket for him there. Of course he loves his bomber jacket! What 8 year old wouldn't. A number of moms have asked me about the jacked and I always direct them to Roberts. In February I planned to shop around for his Communion suit. When we left my son turned to me and said "I want to get my suit from there." Don't take me to more places I like her suits and I want to get it from this store. Surprised, I said "fine we'll come back in a week or two." Needless to say... the world shut down from the Coronavirus. His Communion was delayed until September. When we were notified of the new date in September my son turned to me and said are we going to Roberts? I need to get my suit, and I only want to go to that one store. He got his suit - he picked it out and felt so handsome in his navy-blue, Italian suit. He looked amazing but I'm bias. The two women in the store had masks on and handled my son who finds everything itching or restrictive perfectly. I can't say how much it meant for him to love what he picked out after living with so much uncertainty. Thank you thank you! His Communion day was a very special day. It was the first real celebration we have had. We have shopped at Roberts for Cub Scouting great as well.

In my adult life of past times I'd shopped here a lot for all my suits. A cute boutique shop away…read morefrom the mall madness. They offer lay-away for a long period of time. When payment is in debit card they automatically deduct it from your bank account. The suits are imported from Europe as the style is very conservative yet trendy. I don't believe they have plus sizes available. There is no petite size available either as I was fitted into a 2 or 4. The only way for one to access this boutique is by car as the LIRR Mineola Station is unreachable.

I mean c'mon. Their soft, luxurious and warm. So I wound up buying a grey short Rex Rabbit coat. Yes Rex Rabbit is a thing. Google it. I absolutely love it and have already gotten a plethora of compliments on it. Bill and his staff certainly know their coats and Bill did a beautiful job revamping my mom's Mink. So will I be back? Of course.. I gotta bring my coat for Storage. I highly recommend Tsontos to anyone who needs their coat fixed or stored or to purchase.

While I didn't buy anything on my inaugural trip to the store, I did see a lot of things I liked. I'll be back een if it is to go with friends and sit in the cozy dressing room. One a small note, it was hard to tell the shoppers from the employees, so I didn't know who to apporach for help and no one approached me before they watched me awkwardly pace in front of the dressing rooms trying to figure out if I just go in or have to let someone know.
