This TJ Maxx has an enormous Home Goods section. The clothing and shoe selection is mediocre. Can't say anything about Home Goods because I need zero things from there, but the clothing area is tiny. Everything is packed together. There are no clear distinctions between juniors, women, active, etc. And on top of that, it's super small with very little variety. The Marshalls down the street is way better. read more

Love the home furnishings section on the other side. They literally have everything! And at such great prices. I thought the actual TJ Maxx side was a little lacking in terms of selection. They had a ton of suitcases and womens clothing, shoes, purses but really not much for men. They also have a huge babies and childrens toys section that takes up so much space in the store. The checkout lines are very efficient though and they have tons of cashiers. Regardless, I had such a fun time exploring the home section, it could probably keep me occupied for hours and such great deals too! read more

This is a great TJ Maxx. I would say a little "light" on the women's clothing, BUT the jewelry, handbags and housewares outweigh the lack of women's wear. Came here to get some fancy soaps. I could not find anything particularly cute and meaningful & practical for my gifts, anywhere. I bought a turntable as a Christmas gift and it did not work. Because it was a gift I took off the price tag. Can't find my receipt, so the store manager said I could bring my bank statement. Went back home to print out my bank statement and returned to the store where that manager noticed that I had bought the item in Redwood City. "You have to go there to return this item" she said. I went home and Googled that store and now it is out of business. One good lesson to learn: do not purchase electronic goods here, they don't test them. $ 60 down the drain. read more

I really like this place. You do have to come in early though, right after they open. When they had the holidays hours - it was great! Barely anybody in the store that early. By the time I'm done shopping - folks are slowly strolling in. If you do find something cute - get it as it will be gone next time you come back. Parking in the morning is no problems. Closer to lunch time - it's fight! Store cleanliness: very clean and very well maintained. Inventory: they do get new inventory often, so you do need to come in and see what's new, otherwise - it will be gone. read more

This is an extremely well organized location at the Cupertino Crossroads Shopping Center. I've been shopping here every other month for the past two years. I've been here at random times, but on weekends I make an effort to get here within an hour of when they open. I got here on Friday close to 10:30AM, and parking was scarce. I saw plenty of sales associates sorting items and putting them back on racks. Two associates were having a conversation, and as soon as a shopper approached, they both stopped talking and waited for the shopper to ask her question. There was a good selection of Calvin Klein handbags. I saw some Kate Spade wallets on display near the fitting rooms. The purses that I saw in the clearance section (mostly Coach and Steve Madden) were trashed - the stitching totally coming apart, with torn/detached handles. I saw lots of Skechers, Clarks, and Keds. There was a decent selection of Cynthia Rowley, Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, and Tahari clothing. It was nice to see a "Made in Italy" rack with lots of tops. There were over a dozen shoppers in line, but there were three cashiers, so the wait was short. I bought two pairs of Calvin Klein tights ($14.99 each). I was happy to finally find them, because they weren't available at the Milpitas Calvin Klein store, nor at CalvinKlein.com. My cashier smiled and thanked me for my purchase. This place is huge! I had no idea! I found some good deals here earlier when my friends and I went and I was pretty happy about my purchase. They got some cute boots here from Steve Madden to Michael Kors too. Clothing selections are a hit or miss but I found good quality Olive Green skinny jeans for only $15 (from $30 original price) and I couldn't resist so I got it. You need some home goods? Here's the place to go to! There's a lot of selections of home goods here and I was bait overwhelmed so I went back to the clothing and shoes area :D Their restrooms are pretty well-maintained also and I'm very impressed that they have a restroom here since I wasn't sure that they would have it. I think the Santa Clara one has more good selections of clothing and shoes while this place is more on the home goods selection.. but either way it would always be a hit or miss and I'm okay with that. read more

Not a fan of this location. Warning: this place needs customer service help. We purchased a handful of things and without buying a bag, I forgot one of the items purchased. When we got home and realized it, I called up and a very snub employee said "we are closed- you can call or just come at 9:30 tomorrow morning" and hung up on me. I wanted to make sure my item was going be there. If they're present right at the register, this shouldn't be such a hard task. So of course, I called back and same rude girl picked up, said hello then hung up on me before I could speak. Called yet a 3rd time- young guy answered. Ask to speak to a manager because I got hung up on and guess what? Yes, he hung up also. Now I'm all for getting a good deal but I'm not for shady customer service at the expense of a good deal. Call back and asked to talk to a manager. Some girl gets on the phone, claims to be a manager, says she'll find the item, took my name along with : "OK well I'll talk to my staff." No goodbye, no "I'm sorry" just another hang up. Are you effen kidding? FOUR HANG UPS? Any normal person would be pretty pissed off right now. I called back and asked for the manager's name, when (finally) a polite woman answers the phone claiming she *was* the manager. I told her that one of her staff had just pretended to be a manager. I asked if there were multiple managers and she emphatically said no, just her. I told her what happened and she said she'll handle the staff after sheet helped me. Kudos. She successfully located my missing item (which had my name on it from the prior manager-wannabe), saying it'll be in the office. I believe she will talk to her staff but I'm reporting this here as a warning ------- After you spend your hard earned bucks and wait in some stupid looooong line, make sure you get all your items or you will deal with a major headache in the costume of incompetent and extremely RUDE staff. Will not patronize this location ever again. My heels and other goodies were a good deal but not that good to be treated like shit. read more

I liked how new and clean the store it, but that is about it. Clothes wise this place really sucks. Their selection is super low. Just stepped in real quick to check if they have a good selection of bathing suits on sale (or if they have anything left, since it is the end of the season already). As I walked in, I noticed there was racks and racks of clothes, that's a good thing..some TJ Maxx's seem bare, as if they haven't had a new shipment in weeks and a tumbleweed will just roll on by. Not only are there racks and racks of clothes, it seems to be very well organized - which made it easier to find where they put the bathing suits! I was really excited when I got a flyer telling about the Grand Opening of TJ Maxx Homegoods! This place has a big variety of things for the home. One can find treasures in this store! I was even more excited to find a big painting for my apartment (at a very reasonable price). One thing I noticed was the store only has 1 of the item. That could be a good thing, or a bad thing. The good thing is I knew someone wouldn't be walking out with the same painting I bought at that same time. Sure, someone may have this painting up on their walls already... but hey, I can think my painting is one of a kind! The bad thing is when your friend picks up the one and only set of ankle weights! I would like to have the same great deal she got! Luckily I was able to find what I wanted up at the front... but had to settle on a different brand and lower weight. Hers also came with a work out DVD anddd it was a dollar cheaper. She definitely found a steal! I shouldn't complain because we went across the street and saw that their ankle weights were double the price we paid for ours at TJ Maxx. Minus one star for the longest lines ever, but it's worth the wait for the great deals they have. Just think of it this way, if they didn't have great deals and marked up their prices then they wouldn't have the long lines, but what would you prefer? You are only in line for 10 minutes at the most and they have a bunch of random merchandise for you to buy or just browse before you even get to the front. The time just seems longer than it is because of the 20+ people in front of you, but they usually have 5 or more cashiers. The great thing about this store is they have a lot of new merchandise all the time, because they have more foot traffic, so things come in and out. So, you can take multiple trips in a week and find new things for your household! read more

I went the first weekend it was open and parking was packed but enough because of the big lot in the back. The line was super long but worth the wait. Frames here are cheaper than Michael's without the mirrors or backs (I'm doing a project where I need open back frames). Mean and rude cashier/sales attendant at the jewelry shop. She is so unprofessional - talks, acts, and dresses unprofessional with her butt showing to the customers. When you ask her to hand you an item even in the politest manner you calmly talk to her, she'll roll her eyes as if it was a huge thing to do and she'll make you feel that once you ask her to get something for you, and you touch any of the jewelry there, make sure you buy that item; otherwise, "i'll ignore you and will not attend to your needs at all." She'll snap at you the minute you ask her a question, which will make the customer feel so undermined. Very unpleasant and unwelcoming attitude. I'm a budget shopper, and have always enjoyed TJ Maxx. I believe this is a particularly big TJ Maxx and they have a big selection on furniture and home decorations as well as kitchen items. This is a mom's paradise, and I often come here with my mom. The men's and women's clothing is pretty good too, and I will always come here before attempting Macy's and other shops in search of a bargain. As always, TJ Maxx is a hit or miss. I have only been to this location once, and found it to be much smaller than the one off 101 / Great America Pkwy. They have a much larger home selection though! I casually had a walk around looking for new room decor, but had no luck. :c Personally, It's not very convenient for me to come to this location, but for locals around this area, it's conveniently located on a street where Target, Trader Joes, and Pier One are at. Haven't been able to find anything really nice in the TJ Maxx around here. Will keep trying, but somehow I got deceived in this one. I am a big fan of serendipitous findings at TJ Maxx, used to their good quality and affordable prices. However what I found here was more like what you can get at Ross. Still, I needed some winter jerseys and found them (though not at real deal prices). The gourmet section food is something I value in a TJ Maxx, but in this one the assortment was lacking (for what I normally look for, which tends to be Spanish and Italian goodies). read more

I was never really a TJ Maxx person, but since I work in the area and often find myself at Target across the way, I'm now pop in occasionally. The parking is easy and this store is easy to find, though as it is in a busy shopping center it can get a bit crowded. Especially now during the holidays, this place is crazy because it is attached to the Home Goods which is pretty awesome too. I've found: Micheal Kors tops Jessica Simpson coats (I know, I know) Guess shoes Etc, Etc They also have some CK men's underwear which were great for gifts. Their men's section doesn't blow me away, but this holiday season I did find a few shirts and a sweatshirt for my family. Come here and shop for less! read more

One of the best TJ Maxx locations for home goods. Grew up in Cupertino and this used to be a Mervyn's and closed down a couple years ago. . Their deals are awesome, from vintage/modern decors, dining kitchenwares, bath room selcetions and bedding collections. I am in love with this store and wish I could be back here daily. This is my go-to place (Sorry Tarjay!) for all of my home furnishing needs. A friend of mine actually recommended it after she turned her home into a working bridal studio. Highlight of my week: I purchased these door hangers for $6.99 instead of $12.99 at the local Target :) Oh and for some odd reason you cannot push their shopping carts outside of the store, but if you need help loading larger items to your car the nice cashiers often offer to unlock the carts for you :) They also offer delivery for furnitures. Hint: yes there are many Asians that frequent this store as I have noticed, and long lines on the weekends so try to visit during weekdays. read more

I am a petite Asian gal, so I never really bother browsing the women's clothing and shoes section because apparently XS is not really an option when I initially looked when they first moved in (their selection seems to be much more limited than other similar stores like Ross). Looking at their purses and wallets, though, they do have some really nice options, so they definitely have some quality and name-brand products around the store. I do, however, love looking at the HomeGoods section. It's always well stocked and lots of items cycle through, so I almost always see new things whenever I stop in. It's a great place to get gifts, kitchen items, and other basic home furnishings. It gets busy during popular season, such as around Christmastime and such, so just be prepared to squeeze by people if you're stopping in during that period. read more
