She is an elite stylist but you dont get her elite attention. Because she was over booked she rushed my hair cut resulting in my layers looking very choppy. She attempt to hide the poor hair cut by curling my hair. Unfortunately she didnt leave my hair in the curler long enough and they fell out by the time I got to my car which then I saw how back of a hair job it was with some random short piece of hair that looked like bad bangs. When I went back inside to ask her about my hair she never once admitted it was bad and instead made excuses about saying thats how she does layers or she misunderstood me. She then took the time to pay me some attention and "fix" my choppy hair but its now way shorter than what I wanted because she cut the first layer too short. When I reminder her I wanted the first layer to start at my chin she stretched out the layer and said "see its at your chin" I see layers on one side of my head and a weird short layer but nothing on the other side. She said I had to ask for "butterfly" ive never heard this term for a hair cut. ive always said layers and I was given layers blended into my hair. you would think an "elite" stylist would know that or at least ask. also I told her I part my hair this shouldve been taken into account when cutting my hair.

In addition, she's really thorough with the treatments and even gives great suggestions on how I can improve my skin overall. And my skin always feels so refreshed after the facials! He's very knowledgeable and experienced in performing this procedure to make results very natural.

We discussed what I was looking to achieve as well as showing reference photos to see what would fit best for me. I had an amazing experience during the process and felt comfortable. Nurse Teresa also went over aftercare at the end of the process as well as during the consultation. She was quick to respond when I had questions during the healing process which I appreciated. The front office staff are also very nice and friendly. I'm definitely going to come back for touch ups when the time is ready and will be referring them to friends of mine.

MIIN is a Korean laser so I wanted to check out this technology. Heejung is an amazing RN. She is very careful and detailed with the process and super sweet. I also appreciate the way she applies the after treatment sunscreen, as she applies it thoroughly and also with outward and upward strokes to promote lifting of the skin and blood circulation. So far I have had 6 sessions and can see the noticeable fading of sunspots. Yes it takes quite a few sessions but it works (US has RNs for med spas whereas in Asia it's primarily MD only, so the types of allowable lasers and scope of practice is different). I also want to give a shoutout to Vicky who is also super sweet. She assists with consultations and scheduling and is very knowledgeable. She is also bilingual in mandarin for those with language barriers. Overall I recommend this type of laser and medspa :)

Over the last few months, I was contacted at least 5 times via Yelp private message by other yelpers, asking me about my results. I wanted to wait until I had all the facts, so I recently went back to the medspa to have them retake my photos so I could properly compare my before and after images. Unfortunately, after a thorough comparison, there are no obvious results. My jaw line and neck are still sagging, and I have not seen any noticeable improvement. While the staff is helpful, I cannot recommend the software and ultherapy combo treatment for lifting at this place, based on my personal experience.

I'm no expert on skin care, facials, or detoxes, but I'm super impressed upon my first (and definitely) not last visit. L'Ami offers facial treatments that hydrate and support cellular regeneration. This will be on my next trip, but today, we're going to talk about my food detox session that I had, that was not only refreshing, but educational, as well. What you will notice upon entering the salon, is that the place is super clean, unlike other establishments. Cleanliness is the first and most important priority at L'Ami. With the foot detox treatment, this is paramount. As such, clean new bags are placed in the water basins where your feet get detox. Once the treatment is done, the entire bag is disposed of, preventing any other person form using the same (dirty) water. L'Ami doesn't cut corners by using bags over and over! For the foot detox treatment, I sat on a very comfortable massage chair (lovely)! The water is clean at the start, but once the electrodes are connected to your arm, and the machine is running for ~25 minutes, the toxins go out through the pores of your feet and turn the water yellow, green, or red, depending on what is being cleansed. As a first-timer, the experience can be quite trippy to see all the stuff leaving our body, but once you read the educational pamphlets that are provided while the treatment is undergoing, you get a sense of appreciation that the treatment is wonderful for your body. Thanks, L'Ami!!! Once done, I felt totally refreshed!!! When you visit L'Ami, not only will your body feel refreshed, but you learn so much more about your own body, and how to take care of it. Tina is very knowledgeable, and always happy to explain things to you and the benefits of organic ingredients in skin care products. The foot detox was great. To make matters worse, when I pointed out the half-off yellow sticker signage, she dismissed it with "Nope, it's that price," without even taking the time to read the sign, or to check the other prices. I've shopped at the Cupertino, Campbell, and Morgan Hill locations and have never been treated this way. In fact Cupertino is close to a therapy center for special needs children so I have gone there messy bun and eyes red from emotional days and was always treated so kindly and that store carries chanel. The difference in how I was treated at this store left me feeling profiled. Shopping to decompress shouldn't mean being viewed with suspicion and asked to be checked out before you are done shopping. After reading others reviews this seems to be a common issue. This area is pretty heavily POC so if she feels uncomfortable working with diverse looking clients she needs to work at another location or in the back. Reported it to Corporate for training. If someone is clearly there to shop and spend money, they deserve to be treated with the same respect as every other customer. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to this location.

When I finally managed to reach them the following week, I was told there is zero flexibility and that I would have to pay the full $85 again for an initial evaluation that never even took place. I asked--very reasonably--if they could meet me halfway and charge at least half the amount, considering no service was provided. The answer was still no. This rigid, unsympathetic policy and lack of basic customer care is unacceptable. I had planned to move forward with full leg, arms, and underarm treatments, but I will absolutely be taking my business elsewhere.
