I lived right by this area for a while and I would go to this TJ MAX often. Overall they have good merchandise and the same great deals that the chain offers everywhere. They even had a huge free people collection a few years ago! However it is a little hectic and I feel they need more security. One time I was there waiting to pay in the checkout line and a fight broke out. I can't make this up LMAOOO merchandise flying everywhere and even shelves falling over. I posted a picture of the event with this review. Also no one stopped this altercation it went on for a full 5 minutes and I was beginning to wonder if things would escalate. Another time when I was walking in a group of young people where running out with loads of stolen merchandise. In general feels like safety at this location is not a top priority so I have really stopped going because of this. They should invest in more security if they want customers to feel safe.

Was hoping for some good deals

TJ Maxx has great bargains if your search through the merchandise. Sometimes, items are thrown around and the store looks trahy because the staff can't keep up with zoning. The lines are always long. But if you find a hidden gem , it's worth the find

This is one of the largest TJ Maxx's I've been to. If you want to go somewhere that has a wide selection, this is the place. It's the 1st TJ Maxx I've seen with an extended add on section at the back of the store. The home selection here is extensive and they have new items weekly. The parking lot is always packed (if that gives you any indication to how much people love this location). If you do visit, be sure to mentally prepare yourself for a long check out line!

Ahhhh This is another TJ Maxx that I like, FINALLY! Closer to where we need to be and its just across ROSS that I like going! *DOUBLE TROUBLE* I chuckled to myself. * DOUBLE SCORE! * Now have to save more $$$, in order to purchase the stuffs I like at this store from all the comparison I have made from other MAJOR Retailers stores that I have been to. Ooohh, I like that.. Oooh I like these... Though sometimes, things are not kept to where it should be.. ALL the Staffs at this TJ Maxx, are indeed friendly and helpful. Recent visit was on MONDAY December 1st 2014. THANK GOD I don't need to go to the SUPERIOR TJ Maxx, though I missed that establishment abit.. Err, for one this TJ Maxx is situated at the boundary of Denver and Aurora County. They also offer Layaway services, though in takes awhile to get the staffs at that counter. The opening hours of this TJ Maxx is as following : * Sunday: 8am - 11pm * Monday - Tuesday : 7am - 11pm * Christmas Eve: 7am - 6pm * Christmas Day: CLOSED * Friday : 8am - 9:30pm * Saturday : 9:30am - 9:30pm TJ MAXX The Village On The Park 2350 South Parker Road, Denver, CO 80231 (AURORA) Tel : (303) 671-8757 @233/2014

TJ Maxx is my go to place for Wood Wick candles. These candles get expensive @ Target or online but are usually very affordable here. I like how long they last & I like the wood crackling fireplace-like sound that they make. I also love getting household items here like cups, pots, pans, or house decor. I got a cheese board here, cutting boards, oil holder, cake holder, quesadilla pan, glass cups and spatulas here. You'll definitely save money buying things like towels & gym clothes here too if you compare prices with other stores that carry similar products (Bed Bath & Beyond, athletic stores, etc.). Parking is plentiful & this place is across from Ross but is 10 times better than Ross in quality and quantity.

Sometimes you will get lucky and find deals like this one! Matching active wear from Free People. :)

9:39pm | 5-star Review:…read more Sometimes only Walmart has what you need! After looking for KIDDE auto fire extinguishers - for my car emergency preparedness kit, for forthcoming mountain adventures - at both Home Depot (only available online) and Amazon (doesn't carry this type), I caved & came here, just for this, given my friend found them here, on their app, in Parker. I found a gentleman to help me navigate this huge, overwhelming store, and while en route to this section, I also learned they carry air filters for the home, too! What don't they carry?! Once in the fire section, I bought a few other items. Better to be prepared, than reliant on other people to save you. 10:39pm | 0-star Review: Returned tonight, after buying the KIDDE 2-Liter auto / marine fire extinguisher, a Fire Gone suppressant - for my garage, and a First Alert EZ Fire Spray - for grease fires in my kitchen, whilst not remembering which spray can I already had at home, thinking it'd be easy to return one & swap it back out at Walmart, given the nice gentleman at the entrance (see above) told me they closed at 11pm, allegedly. When I got home, I realized I already had the First Alert EZ Fire Spray, so I returned to Walmart - for a simple exchange. However, upon returning at 10:39pm, before entering, I politely, courteously, and respectfully confirmed with the extremely rude and disrespectful female "manager" the return process, and if I needed a sticker (like I do in the Arlington, VA Costco [some Costcos in CO process returns differently, not requiring stickers, like in NoVA/DC]), or if I needed to show her my receipt. I don't normally shop at Walmart, given how they treat their workers - and now their customers! - so I was attempting to learn the rules, so I could follow them. Instead of answering my questions - with mutual respect - this woman disrespectfully and rudely interrupted me, telling me they were already closed. What?! I clarified, "then did the polite gentleman inside mislead me when he told me you close at 11pm?" Instead of being a normal, polite, respectful "manager," she cut me off, telling me customer service closed at 8pm. I've never heard of a store having different retail hours vs. customer service hours. Would've been good to know, and for the man to tell me earlier, at 9:39pm! While this interaction was happening, there was a man at the door, listening to our dialogue, and instead of doing his job (whatever that was, exactly), he proceeded to *LAUGH AT ME, STRAIGHT DISRESPECTING ME, TO MY FACE*! Being the Colorado native, and now East Coast, bi-coastal, liberal elite feminist that I am, rolling in hot whilst listening to Wu-Tang Clan, straight out of NYC, where I worked on Wall Street - with women, after 10+ years in NoVA/DC, and living in Chicago, including visiting the South Side at night, whilst riding the el, and having *NEVER* been treated like this there, I obviously wasn't going to tolerate, or allow, this woman & misogynistic man to treat me like this. When I checked him, and told him - to his face, making direct eye contact - that he was rude, disrespectful, and misogynistic for laughing at me, while I asked normal, polite, direct, basic questions, the woman "manager" escalated dramatically & superfluously, threatening to "call the police," and refusing to allow me into the store to shop. I said, "sure, let's talk to the police," hoping they were normal. Luckily, they were, especially when I explained my dad was former law enforcement, died of COVID, which is the only reason I returned to CO. I should also mention that while I expected on-site security to call the police, apparently Aurora Police are contracted here, working over-time on-site. Luckily, a very polite Aurora Police Officer listened to me - respectfully & politely - hearing this absurd story, then gave me his business card and the name of the General Manager, and recommended I contact the GM tomorrow, which I will do. Annoyingly, I now need to *ADD* to my to-do list, vs. cross items off, return tomorrow to do a very simple exchange, and speak to the GM - in-person - given this woman clearly has no idea how to do her very basic job. For starters, she should learn how to manage her misogynistic male employees.

These people hate their jobs. I said, "Hey you guys!" to two people walking toward the back of the…read morestore. They made eye contact with me and quickly walked into their employee-only entrance door.
