    Margarita pizza

Pretty good food overall very hot when you get it. Love all their sauce choices and I love banana peppers on my pizza

Here's a photo of the onions on the sub we ordered. I called they put me on hold 3 times and then told me no there's no mold on the onions.. there is indeed mold on the onions.

Good pizza, but the atmosphere is very much a high school hangout. Good for a quick bite though.

My pops used to say it was the only sausage he would grill that wouldn't make a crazy mess. They share a parking lot with the other businesses in the shopping strip so you'll have no issues parking. The staff was nice and knowledgeable of their product. The owner walked by a couple of times and couldn't even give me a good morning, but a regular walked in and he greeted him. Guess I need to visit more often? I stopped in to grab some hot fennel sausage, but wound up walking out with a lot more. A lb. each of Smoked Kielbasa, Jalapeño and Cheddar, Broccoli Rabe and Sharp Provolone joined the hot fennel. Expect to pay $12 and change a lb. which is pretty typical for a meat market. That's pretty nuts considering you can buy a lb. of Premio for around $5-$6 from a grocery store. You can also buy bulk sausage for say a lasagna which I did. My wife likes to mix their mild and hot when she makes hers. They also sell fresh and frozen pasta, sauces/gravy, some antipasti, bread and pantry items like Centro branded ingredients and Italian sweets. I grilled my sausages around 350 degrees until they reached temp and they were delightful. The smoked kielbasa is already cooked so I warmed that up for 10-15 mins in an oven and served with cheeses and pretzels/crackers. Everyone who got a taste loved them. Gerome's is a nice spot to treat yourself once in awhile. You're going to spend more money, but honestly the sausages aren't a greasy mess like the bigger brands. The hot fennel could be hotter in my humble opinion.

Unless you are into the fine art of flavored pastas, you could very easily walk by this cubby hole…read morein the farmer's market, no glitz or glamour here, just bags and bags of exquisite artisanal pastas. You've all probably sampled this pasta at one point or another as they are this nation's supplier for fine restaurants, hotels and resorts since 1984. The only way to purchase it for your own home use is to visit them on line or to find a location inside of a farmer's market or a gourmet specialty food shop. They have over one hundred different dried pastas, raviolis, pesto, sauces, oils all made the traditional way that Italy has been doing for years. The flavors conjure up images of the best pasta salads you will ever make with flavors like basil garlic, lemon parsley, southwestern, calypso and tomato basil. So many more, even chocolate and fruit flavors, hello kids of all ages! The lasagna sheets, I have never seen this before, flavored sheets of trio peppercorn, spinach garlic and roasted red pepper, now that has to be good! The flat cut noodles are too numerous to mention, but there has to be thirty different flavors, a few of them are basil tangerine, chipolte pepper, dark chocolate, curry, orange Szechwan, spicy red hot Thai curry and Venetian calamari, okay that was more than a few, but I get so excited. They have healthy pastas of whole wheat and more, even gluten free pastas. The selection of orzo is amazing and I did go a bit over board in buying, but hey my pantry is well stocked. Did you know that the lasagna noodle was the first noodle to ever be made, according to food historians. The thick noodle was laid out in the hot Mediterranean sun to dry and the edges would curl while drying. From what I have found so far, the flavors do come out in your dish of the pasta you have made, although a contradicting sauce can enhance or completely take away from it. I need to remember to balance the flavors as I make more. Their website also offers recipes, as I have just found out, so this could be great fun... As hubby is running away. For the orzo, which is delicate anyway even though these flavors scream at you like the sweet potato or the supreme which is porcini mushrooms, roasted pepper and saffron. I am anxious to try the autumn orzo which is sage, pumpkin and chestnut, hubby says yuck, blah, blah, blah. Anyway I am making the lime cilantro linguine tonight and tossing it with tomatoes, peppers, onions, red pepper flakes, olive oil and sauteed shrimp, then tossing in some feta. If he doesn't like it, he can have a grilled cheese or go to bed hungry.

Giovanni's Pizza & restaurant is next door is owned by the husband of Mercatino's. Both places serve really good food! My bad experience there today was due to how LONG it takes to order, pay for, and get your food. WAY to long. Plus, everything is overpriced. They make you order from one of two kiosks. Kiosk ask some odd questions that force you to go to the counter to ask things like, what is pressed hot? By the time the lady had time to answer my question, my order was timed out and I had to start all over. Then my chicken cutlet ssandwich comes with broccoli rabe, but the kiosk suggested I add it and pay more for it. WHAT? The friendly lady came out from behind the counter to help me with the order. Then she asked for my email address and phone numberto complete the order. WHAT? She claimed I HAD TO input my phone number and email address to complete my order - WHAT??I We argued a minute and I said I just want to buy my sandwich which doesn't require giving out my email and phone numbeI. I finally completed my orderand asked at the counter what's next. The lady behind the counter says here's your reciept, you have to go up front to the cashier pay for it 1st. I said what the heck and she explained someone walked out, not paying so this is their procedure now. So, okay, I walked to the fron register, presented my nvoice and paid. So, again I ask what's next. The cashier hands me a paid for sticker and said go back to the counter in the rear to get your food. Okay, so I walked back to the rear counter to discover they hadn't started to assemble my sandwich yet. So, I milled aroiund with other confused looking customers waiting for their food. 20 minutes later I got my food and FINALLY left. The food is good but very expensive, the staff is friendly, but I'll never go thru that again. Their bakery is exceptional but they get it from La Dolce Vita Italian bakery in Wescoville, it's a great Italian bakery in Wescoville. Their bread comes from NY and itself is worth the trip there. The frozen section is exceptional as well. Just don't order a sandwich unless you have the day off or like me, are retired!

Very deserving. I don't even know where to begin bc they hit it out if the ball park for us. Our compliments to the chef!!! So I have to start with my Pork Chop...omg...perfect. Rocco's closed down in Newtown, PA and their pork chop was the best...this pork chop was right up there with Rocco's. The mustard sauce, unique topping, was amazing. I am thinking about it today and my mouth is watering. My husband's veal was probably the best he has ever had. The most tender veal ever with a delicious marsala sauce. Then there were the pastas and seafood...all delicious. Oh and the calamari. It was all so darn good. Kyle was our server and he added to a perfect dining experience. He answered our questions, described the choices right on, made recommendations, he was friendly, had a wanting to please attitude and my 13 yr old granddaughter was crushing on him. (Haha). Wish all of our servers were that effecient and good. Gotta love a BYOB! The restaurant is modernly decorated and very comfortable. High energy kinda place. Noise level was high but all restaurants are loud these days and it really wasn't too bad. It was our first time at this restaurant and even though it is a bit far...we can't wait to go back. It is a pleasure to support a family run business. The owner came to our table and you could see her pride and we also felt our business was appreciated. I see why every table was full on a Sunday night. I just wish this place were in our neighborhood!! Love love love it!!!
