Pet hair all in the back where I was stuffed . We looked at a few we were pretty much done . No sooner then we were a half a mile down 29 here come the texts from sales . We put a list together to have things done. So the parts are ordered, the suppliers and the problem! They take forever to get the parts to the dealer, they go on vacation and nothing happens while they are on vacation.. The service department is great they kept me in the loop and we waited for a very long time for the parts. The minute they get the parts it is fixed, so to me it is not the Camping World people it is the suppliers! They did a wonderful job on our unit and kudos to them and the service counter as well. So people give credit where credit is due!!

So polite, knowledgeable and was willing to work around our schedule. Lenny had great suggestions to upgrade our unit, but was not pushy. I spoke to Wendell on the service desk. Very friendly and helpful when I described our issue. He was calm, knowledgeable and very accommodating when I explained our traveling schedule. AND, we were very happy & surprised to get in within 2 weeks. July 12th @ 9:00 am. My Coach Mfg said they couldn't get me in until Dec. . They even said they would let us dry Camp the night before if we needed to. We didn't need to...but nice to have options. Upon arriving @ 8:40, besides the broken window, Wendell went over our short list of added items that needed attention. Told Wendell, we would wait in the lobby. (BTW.. Music was a bit tooooo loud). Appt at 9:00, by 9:10... we watched our Coach go into the service bay. By 10:30... we were done, .... window replaced, cabinet hinge fixed, coolant checked..... we were paid up and driving out. Amazing service time. Allowing us to continue exploring Charlotte, NC. Highly recommended if you should need work on your RV !!

Being that the RV we purchased was gently used and only a few years old, there were a couple items we had concerns about before taking delivery. One items was left undone in the 2-3 weeks between our signing the contract and taking delivery. We were promised a tear in the driver's upholstery would be fixed/mended, they'd send their guy out to our house (2 1/2 hours away) to do the fix. We took delivery at the end of July and it still hasn't happened. It has taken more than 2 months to get a license plate (I still don't have it), 3 sets of temp tags to bridge that gap. I was hoping to take a class on how to winterize my RV or even get them to do it, but I'm starting to second guess this thought process. It's a nice Class A RV, in great shape, with a LOT of bells and whistles for the right price. I'm just getting concerned about the lack of follow up or service after the sale.

What should have been a straightforward repair turned into months of frustration, poor workmanship, broken promises, gas-lighting and a refusal to take responsibility. He will rebutt (gaslight this comment). He never came thru even after several opportunities! Among the most serious issues: The awning wiring was improperly connected, he said I needed new wiring and that would cost another $300. WRONG, he never crimped the wire for connection of which worked perfectly after! He left parts open, unsealed and wires exposed. I had unnecessary trim removed and parts taken/stolen! I sent him a registered letter to hopefully get this completed and move past it. He then said $450 to do the awning repairs (crimp the wire was all that was needed and I had repaired by this time so I just wanted the other things completed) He never ever got back to me! While working on my roof on the AC units, Chris broke one of my RV windows refuseing to take responsibility because I didn't tell him that day (I didn't notice until next day) he refused to repair/replace it. Repairs were left incomplete after repeated promise they would be finished. He used my ONLY set of storage keys to access awning wiring and I never got them back. He said he would replaced them. HE NEVER DID! Communication was poor, deadlines were missed, he had excuses and never followed up with a replace date. I repeatedly had to follow up just to get any response. Instead of standing behind his work, Chris delayed the repairs and failed to accept responsibility for damage that occurred while my RV was in his care. As a customer, I expected honesty, professionalism, and quality workmanship. Unfortunately, I received none of those. If you're considering using HALES RV, I strongly recommend rethink your decision carefully before EVER trusting them with your investment. EXTREMELY disappointing ! The customer service is HORRIBLE
