Wings @ "market price" were only okay
    Zach R.

Service and ambiance was fine I didn't have any issues. I came to eat and watch the blues game. The wings were 3/10 in my own opinion, overly crispy, overly priced, under-sauced. I wouldn't swear it off as it wasn't a bad experience. I just didn't like the food.

The decor was nice. I like the pictures on the wall. They have a few games. The wings were pretty good. The fries were tasty. I try not to eat fries anymore, but I got them this day and enjoyed them. Service was exceptional. I hated that I had to get back to work. I can go ahain.

I really wanted to like this spot, but it didn't wow me. I'm a fan of the Corner Butcher and have…read morebeen wanting to try this place of the same owner. My husband and I ate here on a Friday night. The atmosphere was not great - it felt like it should be a nicer interior especially for the prices. The tables seemed like plastic card tables with tablecloth on them and the lighting was really dim, with fluorescent lighting. We were sat in a corner that was crammed too close by another table and unfortunately I was bumped into more than a few times - it was hard to get in and out of too. My husband ordered the burger and fries and I ordered a steak. We both ordered our dishes medium but they came well done. They took my steak back and made another, but it took a long time. By the time it returned, his dish was cold. They also didn't ask if his burger was cooked right so he just ate it. My sides were green beans (good) and baked potato (just okay) and it came with a caesar salad (too much dressing). Service left some to be desired. There are lots of food runners and water fillers, it seems, but we didn't see our server a lot nor was my water ever refilled. We had to ask for bread and had to wait awhile for it, as well. The prices especially for steaks are high. I got a 6oz sirloin I believe for $39. With my husbands burger, two waters (no drinks), tax and tip it was a $70 meal. Nothing offered for our delays, incorrectly cooked entrees, etc. Bummer that a nearby, locally owned spot didn't work as we love to support local when we can. If they could elevate some of the above mentioned components to match their prices and provide more consistent quality of dishes, that would vastly help!

Had a seasoning/coating that made them crispy! Also they had house made ranch that was really good. Boyfriend ordered cannelloni small portion perfect for lunch & only $8. Went on a sunday afternoon & the place had only a couple customers. The waiter & bartender were so awesome. Chatted with us & checked on us even after we had paid the tab!

I could get vegan eggs and vegan bacon, and my friends could get their chicken eggs and turkey bacon. My favorites here were the vegan milkshakes, pancakes, vegan bacon, brussels sprouts, and the shrimp po'boy. Unfortunately, I'm speaking of them in past tense because as of tonight, 09May, they have permanently closed. My family and I were some of the very last customers. They were out of all my favorites, so it was extra sad for me. I ended up trying the tacos for the first time. They were cool. But I'm surely going miss my favorites! The owners also own Frida's and Diego's, off Delmar and North & South. I personally don't care for the food at either one, but rumor has it, they might bring some of the Station No 3 favs over to one of these restaurants (which are right next door to each other).

It's a great place to go with your vegan friends as there are many options for vegans and non vegans alike. It's counter service or order from a QR code at your table. They also seem to have a full bar. There was a Wednesday happy hour when we were there $9 old fashioned and potato skins. All and all it was pretty good but I would have liked to see some healthier options that weren't salad, like more fresh veggies in dishes.

Enchilada suizas were delicious and some of the specialty items were really well done. BUT our server was terrible. I'm hopeful this server is new and just learning but overall gave off a rude vibe. We asked for a frozen margarita but she brought a Regular. When server was politely corrected she went and got the correct drink but slammed it on the table and walked away. I had one question about the menu and she seemed offended. Now, once our food arrived a different server took over. She was very kind and sweet. So I would give this restaurant another try but hopefully server training is ongoing.

First glances: The atmosphere is very modern and clean. The music is very loud and distracting, though. We couldn't help but hear a very loud bass-y/subwoofer noise that shook the whole restaurant. I'm not sure what vibe they're going for - laidback family restaurant or club? The service was very lackluster. Our waiter was polite but very inattentive, to the point where it seemed like he was intentionally avoiding us. They only had two other tables, and he never came back after dropping the food off. We had to flag him down for the bill as well... Finally, the food. The horchata was good: The Chips and Salsa were okay -- the salsa was flavorful but the chips needed a touch more salt. I got a Combo with a Chile Relleno and a Tamale, and it was decent but the sauce was overly salty. My Mom thought her Pollo Ranchero was similar - tasty but the sauce was a tad salty/one-note. Would we come back? Actually, probably in a year or two to see if they improved. Having a Mexican place 0.9 miles from your house and not loving it sucks, and I hope this place steps it up for next time!!
