This is a fairly new establishment (3 months) and a welcome additional to the town. Very spacious with 2 large rooms. Nice menu, beautiful bar, a variety of beer, great service. Starters- fries fried in Beef tallow which is much healthier than seed oils. 4 diff dipping sauces Saddles on horseback which was 4 bacon wrapped scallops. Absolutely delicious and lemony buttery flavor served with mixed greens - also fabulous Cowgirl cauliflower - crispy and a little spicy but not overly Mac and cheese was good. A little thicker would have been better for me Salmon was delicious and cooked perfectly Brisket was amazing. I'd go back there in a second

Had this on my list of places to try and finally had a chance Saturday evening. Nice space utilizing both upstairs and downstairs. Cute, country theme with good music. Brisket queso was delicious. My short rib was huge and came with lots of accompaniments as well. While I didn't personally eat the wings, my husbands looked great and like they had a lot of meat on them. Service was friendly and turned things around quickly. On the pricier side but not outrageous for a nice meal out. I'd stop in again!

Went for a late lunch today. We shared Tallow fries as an appetizer. The three of us ordered the brisket cheesesteak sandwich- yum! We all loved it. We took home 3 doggie bags. The only criticism I would have is that for $24 each they should come with something- chips, potato salad or coleslaw. Service was great. We will return.

Well, first off...wow. A friend of mine showed me pictures of the food that got me excited and the food is better than the pictures. Everything hit the spot. But of everything we tried - top three was the brisket meat, the sweet cornbread Yes please, and the fried cauliflower. Cannot wait to go again. The service was - before I begin - backstory we haven't seen my friend Jenny in six years, so we had a lot to discuss. And would you believe we talked for almost three hours - and they never said a cross word. The service was kind friendly and very forgiving because they close at 9. We thought it was ten, and there we were just talking like the wait staff was gonna spend the night. And they were all so nice. The decor is spot on. Well done for providing a BBQ place that's delicious, beautiful and friendly.

Amazed by Cowboy Butter! Excellent food and excellent service. I'm a somewhat picky local who enjoys down to earth atmospheres with great service and excellent food quality (hopefully but ok with food being just ok if the service is good). Pleasantly surprised to say the food is GREAT. Anytime I have eaten here the food and service were awesome. Highly recommend.

The menu of this New Milford restaurant by restauranteur John Bourdeau (Lucia, The Owl) and chef…read moreMike Sorensen has been described as eclectic -- and it is. Wonderfully so. You can find fun little culinary mashups like okonomiyaki onion rings, street corn nachos, Korean fried chicken bao, bahn mi salad, and Thai shrimp curry, served alongside pizzas, chicken Milanese, and good ol' flat iron with fries. In short, this restaurant reflects American cuisine at its cross-pollinating, playful, and of course delicious best. Bahn mi salad is a glorious pile of cucumber and carrot ribbons, shredded Napa cabbage, radish, scallion, and cilantro, tossed in a tart, tamari-lime vinaigrette, with sambal aioli. I don't usually like creamy substances like aioli on salads... unlike those international visitors who fell in love with ranch dressing during the World Cup, I guess -- but this aioli packed a very nice punch and was not overenthusiastically glopped on. We were very enamoured with this salad. The Pardner tried one of the pizzas, the so-called Porkception (red sauce, mozz, porchetta, sausage, pickled fennel, calabrian chile, pecorino; $22). It was of an indeterminate style with a sturdy crust thicker than a NYC slice, not as thick as deep dish, and generously topped. I found the cheese to sauce ratio a bit high for my tastes, but the Pardner enjoyed it. The best thing about the striped bass (kale + green lentil salad, dill vinaigrette, sorrel; $33) was the lentil salad -- not because the bass was poorly prepared, but because the salad was excellent. Perfectly textured little lentils du Puy were punchy with acidic dressing, with the greens providing a pleasant textural contrast. The bass itself was fresh and cooked to a good temperature, but a bit bland on its own. It would've been nice to have had some lemon on the plate alongside. I was a little sad to see that Ligurian farinata, a dish that was previously on the menu, is no longer. I am a total sucker for this creamy / crisp chickpea flour flatbread. When it's well made, there are few things in the world that make for better eating. The Sparrow seems to have a strong cocktail program, as well as a brief, but well curated, wine list. We tried the absolutely fascinating Bangkok (chile infused tequila, ancho reyes, carrot, ginger, turmeric, pumpkin, cinnamon; $16), which, like Thai food, hit just every receptor on the tongue. There was sweetness, earthiness, spice, and smoke. I don't tend to like sweet drinks, but this was not excessively so. The Florence (dos hombres mezcal, amaro nonino, gran bassano, orange bitters; $16) drank a lot like an Old Fashioned with a winning note of smoke. A glass of crisp, refreshing Feudi di San Gregorio (Greco di tufo; Italy; $15) went nicely with the sea bass, while the Pardner enjoyed a glass of Rage Against the Teddy Bears, a New England double IPA from Brewery Legitimus in New Hartford, CT, with his pizza. The restaurant sources microgreens (including the pretty cornflower garnishing The Florence) from Symbiosis in Sherman, CT. John Bordeau was on site, making sure everything went smoothly. Given the friendly staff, fun, outside-of-the-box dishes on the menu, and great cocktails, we can't wait to be back!

This was a quick decision and drive-by choice. So no biggie but had it been an anniversary I would have been irritated. Hospitality was great. Super friendly just and servers and excellent service. My wine pour was very generous. The pizza with sopressata and honey drizzle was spicy and delicious and well priced. The Bahn Mi salad was delicious, beautifully prepared and topped with a grilled chicken breast., We really enjoyed it. An area of opportunity would have been to be more generous with the amount of actual food, particularly when it's an entree at dinner time. Vibe is friendly, modern, a bit upscale without being daunting or exclusive. We will return.

"Holy Unexpected Diner Experience, Batman!"…read more That's exactly what ran through my mind as I limped away from a tire blowout in New Milford, CT. While the tire shop warned me it'd be a long wait (my car apparently decided to audition for "Most Dramatic Vehicle of 2025"), my son, daughter, and I wandered across the street to 3 Brothers Diner... expecting, you know, a normal diner. BAM! POW! WHAM! We walked straight into what can only be described as the Batcave of dining. Every inch--every single inch--of this diner is covered in Batman memorabilia. From ceiling-swooping Batplanes to walls lined with Dark Knight treasures, it's like stepping into the Caped Crusader's personal brunch headquarters. Gotham could only dream of such ambiance. The place is spotless, the staff friendlier than Alfred offering warm advice, and the food? Absolutely delicious. I had the lasagna--cheesy, saucy, perfect. My son devoured his Philly cheesesteak like it was fuel for fighting crime. My daughter kept it classic with eggs, toast, and home fries, all perfectly cooked. Honestly, if you ever find yourself with a blown tire, car troubles, or just a sudden and overwhelming desire to dine with the Dark Knight--3 Brothers Diner is your spot. To the Bat-Diner!

But I found it very mediocre. Chicken potstickers were probably the best part of the meal. My husband ordered the general tso's lunch special, I ordered the spicy miso ramen, and we ordered the pineapple fried rice lunch special with chicken to share. There is a place closer to home where I order pineapple fried rice and it's super yummy and served in a pineapple. This was very boring, and bland. I wished it could be ordered with pork or pork belly, which has more flavor than chicken, but that wasn't an option. It did contain a lot of chicken so would be a decent sized standalone meal, but I wasn't impressed. The spicy miso ramen said it had a rich pork broth with miso added, but truth be told, it tasted like the free miso soup you get with sushi or hibachi. I forgot to add an egg - entirely my fault. But the soup overall was underwhelming. As was the general tso's. Fine but not great. Food came out quickly and it was busy, but I was not impressed at all and wish we chose somewhere better for lunch when in the area. We had leftovers, but it wasn't any better the second time around!
