They have super reasonable prices for a shellac manicure! I called and made an appointment just to get in and out and I was in and out in like 30 minutes. The girl that did them was friendly and they even offer you a drink if you want it. Couple nails have a weird bump or two because of the top coat, but not having done my nails in the last 8 years it's hard to say if that's normal or not. The parking lot is a disaster! The location is in a strip mall like set up with not enough parking for everyone. I found a spot but had to walk around the corner. Not a big deal after sitting at the desk all day, but just a heads up. read more

We were in town for a tournament and decided to have a little mom time between games. We called ahead and let them know we needed to be gone by 2:15. We got to our appointment 15 minutes early so we were ready to go when they called us back. First, the skin nearly peeled off my feet as I tried to put them in the boiling water. Eventually I got settled and started to relax. The man doing my nails was pretty rough. When it came to massage time it was more like some form of torture than relaxation. I was certain I would either be bruised or sore by the time I got back to the hotel. I will say that he is one of the few people who has known when to stop cutting at the cuticle and I didn't leave there bleeding. I splurged for a shellac manicure, but noticed he was applying the polish pretty unevenly. I tried looking at them between coats, but he kept putting my hand back under the lights. Well, the polish is a good 1/4" from my nail bed and I look like I have tiny little nails. I literally look like I already need to have them done again and it has only been 2 days! In the plus side: he checked all of the tips to make sure there were no rough spots. That drives me bonkers. read more

I took my mom here to get a pedicure for their birthday and got a manicure for myself. While the nail technicians were lovely, the problem was that our appointment was extremely delayed. I had called earlier and reserved, and it took 40 minutes for my mom to have their appointment start and 50 minutes for mine. My mom was offered a complimentary beverage, I was not (this may or may not be due to me only getting a manicure, but nothing was communicated during the long waits. We also were asked if we had nail files, and then charged for them, when we would have brought our own if it had been on the website. They also gave us both the same file to use, which we would have been fine with if they had asked(something we haven't experienced at other salons). Again, the technicians were lovely, but the waiting and not knowing and feeling ignored/no communication made this a really upsetting experience. read more

Probably one of the worse pedicures I have ever had. My friend and I came here tonight. It was a rushed pedicure and for everything they offer they didn't do most of it. I had to reminder her to put salt in the bath. The gentleman is who did my pedicure and he was rough with the tools. Normally I like it rough but it was too much. He didn't do the callus removing which is a big reason why I go to places like these. He said I didn't need it. I had to ask a few times and point out the dead skin. He then went to the paraffin. And I was in it maybe a minute or two. He took it off and then finally did the callus remover but stuck the cheese grater right on it without lotion. Onto the nail polish. A nice big blob right onto my big toe and didn't smooth it out. Kept that much on there. My friend didn't get polish but he got skimped on as well where it counted. Terrible experience and will not be back. read more

I find the few bad reviews shocking. I started going to TLC after a referral from a client two years ago. I have been to many nail salons in Wilsonville, Tigard, and Portland. TLC is by far the best. They are accommodating; they do fabulous work. I get a fill on my nails but keep them short and a deluxe pedicure every two weeks. Alan does my nails, and Tony does my pedicure. I can't express how much I love them!! Sometimes, I go in for a foot, leg, and arm massage. They always have my favorite soda waiting and a pillow for my back. They remember my son's name and my pets (clearly, I talk about them a lot). If I feel like being quiet and reading, they respect that. If I tell them I need to be out by a certain time they always accommodate me. read more

I have been going here for years and am usually happy with the results. It doesn't seem to matter if you make an appointment because I sometimes have to wait a half hour. Friday I had an 11am appointment for a pedicure and was seated within 10 minutes but sat until the water got cold. Finally a female nail tech started taking off my polish. Suddenly another client was seated next to me and my tech said "excuse me" and moved over to her and started on her pedicure and completely ignored me which made me pretty upset. I was speechless at the treatment. The other client was then getting top noch service and I was ignored. After a half hour I was pretty upset at the treatment and asked if I should come back another time. They then hurried and got someone to finally do my pedicure. I am pretty shy so it was hard for me to express my frustration. Once the nail tech left me to attend to another client she should have gotten someone to replace her. This was quite an insult. I am a regular client and I'm sure the other lady was a regular of the tech but that shouldn't have made a difference in the way I was treated. I don't know their names or I would have asked for a specific tech myself. Is this what it takes to get good service? If so, they should wear name tags. I finally got Tina and she did a great job but by that time I was pretty upset and am not sure I will be back. By the way I did ask for a female to do my pedicure because I don't feel like I get full treatment from some of the male techs (Michael being the exception but he usually only does nails and not pedicures. I remember him from going to a salon in Newberg). I don't think I'll be back. My feelings were hurt more than anything else to think I didn't matter as much as the other lady that sat down next to me at 11:30. read more

TLC Nails is the best! I've been coming here for 5 years now, and it's my favorite pedicure spot ever. They are so kind and friendly, and the pricing is really good. The massage is GREAT, and everyone does such a good job. I definitely recommend the deluxe pedicure. I take all my friends and family here too because it's so relaxing and honestly, I'd come every week if my schedule allowed it :) I have been to a lot of nail salons over the last 20 years, but they really are my favorite :) read more

So I came here to get my nails done for family pictures, but I'm so disappointed, that I didn't even wanna get my feet done after I saw my nails. my nails are already lifting like the nail was on my skin. I found this place because I was getting my car service in wilsonville. I normally get my nails done in SW Portland and have had some issue with the places I've been to. This place had great service and they were able to immediately start my mani and pedi ( it was on a Monday though). They were very efficient with taking off my polish off my hand nails as I was getting my pedicure. they gave a sea salt scrub, hot wax, and a lotion massage for the pedicure which was wonderful! Lots of colors to choose from for the gel manicure and pedicure. I had Tiffany do my nails and she was extremely friendly! She did a great job with my nails as they were a bit short from biting them. None of the nail polish got on my nails and she was able to pain the tops of my nails as well. I loved the color I got on my toes and nails. It's been about a week with my gel nails and they look as though they are brand new. If I lived over in wilsonville I would definitely make this place my go to -- it's better than the Portland place I go and less expensive for all the things you get! read more

We have been coming to TLC for years. I always request Tina. She.Is.The.Best! She gives the best pedicure and massage. Sometimes I don't even really need the pedi, I just come to relax and get the massage. The same employees have been there forever and they greet us by name. There are more nail places in Wilsonvile than Starbucks and this is the only one worth going to. See my other review about another experience at Classy last week. read more

Absolutely love this nail salon! Came in for a shellac manicure and Lindsey did a wonderful job. She really pays attention to detail, I came in with a image from Pinterest of how I wanted my nails done and she "nailed" it. However, I got charged a $5 for a design fee for glitter, which didn't require much artistic abilities since all she did was painted it on like the rest of my nails but oh well. I can't stop looking at my hands and I'm excited to show them off for the new year! They also gave us a little holiday present (travel size hempz lotion and pen), which was really nice. read more

I came here two weeks ago while I was waiting for a wedding to start. I was bored in the hotel while my fiancé was involved in the wedding party, and I was from out of town so I really didn't have much to do. I figured it would be a good way to kill time to get my nails done. I found TLC by accident while aimlessly driving around trying to find another nail salon listed on yelp. I was greeted immediately when I walked in the door, even though they had a huge bachelorette party to care for. They sat me in a chair with the massagers on, a drink and a foot soak. They told me it would be thirty minutes, I thought that was fair. Thirty minutes later a nice gentleman came up to me and diligently began to work on my feet. Unfortunately, I was beginning to run out of time and I wanted my fingers done too. The gentlemen got me out very quickly with out compromising the service and quality. Here is a photo of my gel polish nails two weeks later, still good! If I am back in Wilsonville from Idaho, there is no other place I will go! I only wish I got a photo of it freshly done! read more

Nice clean, friendly and talented staff. They are pretty much slammed on weekends so make an appt. I did make an appt for a set of acrylics and a pedicure and they ended up being about 45 minutes late. But I was in no hurry and they gave me wine to drink while my feet soaked in a hot water bath and my neck and shoulders got shiatsued (sp?!) in my chair. It was great to relax and just not worry about anything for a few moments. So it didn't frustrate me that they were running behind. Plus, the technicians were very nice and apologized several times. When it was my turn for my pedicure and manicure, I was treated appreciatively and like I had been coming there for years. We talked about great places to eat, where the best hair salon was and real estate. It was a fun 3.5 hours of my day. My nails are super cute and my feet felt like I was walking on clouds when I left. I plan to make them my regular spot here in town. I moved here a few months ago and had not had a chance to find a place I liked. I really appreciated: Michael, T, Cathy and staff. read more

I wish I had a positive experience at this salon, because it is so close to where I live. However, I had a terrible service here. [Background info] I travel for work and happened to be out of town on trips for over a month. My nails were breaking, and painful. I returned home and immediately changed out of my uniform and went to this salon. My nails were awful. Before my service, I went back to my car to retrieve my nail file kit. When i returned and sat down at appointed station, every employee was staring at me; most were snickering to one another. From then on, the girls in the salon did nothing but talk about me right in front of me. The girl that worked on my nails didn't listen when I begged her not to RIP MY NAILS OFF, then couldn't finish because my nail beds were bleeding. They are not very welcoming, and made me feel alienated for my very rare situation. read more

This place is awesome!!! Such great service with lots to offer! You are well taken care of and you never feel rushed. After my pedi I was able to stay on the spa chair to continue having a chair massage with a neck warmer while the polish on my toes were completely dry. They offer several types of drinks as part of their service....from a bottle of cold water, coffee, tea, soda to even a glass of white or red wine!!!! A place to truly relax and enjoy being pampered!!! read more

My first time here and I feel spoiled. Large clean friendly space. Good prices and complimentary beverage (adult or otherwise). I met two colleagues here for an after work treat and it was delightful! We opted for the "hot stone" massage and they took their time and massaged thoroughly. Pedicure was perfect. This place is amazing ! I've been coming here since they opened and it's the first salon I've found that does a quality job. Their staff is friendly and helpful in color selection and designs. I came in today (last minute as usual!) and had Michael whip up an awesome design for my Disney trip next week. I absolutely love how my nails turn out every time and I'd recommend them to anyone. I was in town visiting family for the week and one of my acrylic nails broke off. The lady who did mine previously at another salon did a horrible job. The polish was uneven, the shapes were all different and they kept breaking! Tina here at TLC took on the job of taking all those horrible nails off and doing a new full set. She was so thorough and kept checking with me to make sure everything was okay. I'm pleased with the result and so happy I stopped in. Whenever I'm in town next, I'll be back! read more

I went to TLC on a spontaneous whim after searching up reviews on my handy Yelp app. I was greeted quickly and got seated fairly quickly as well since I was a walk in. I wanted a shellac mani but the color selection was a bit weak. After I searched for a color I was quickly sat. The technicians seemed nice and knowledgeable! My technician was gentle and kind. However by the end of my appointment my nails had some bubbles under the color. There was also quite a bit of gel on my skin. It was also a very thick shellac job. Overall I am not sure if I would come back. read more

I have been going to this salon since they opened years ago. They are now the only place I will get a pedicure from because no where else can compare. As far as manicures, I have gotten acrylic fills, shellac manicures, and dip manicures. To be honest I would never get acrylics here or a fill again. I usually keep a separate nail technician if I'm going to have acrylics due to standards being pretty high. The shellac manicures can be hit or miss. I'll have some manicures that'll last two weeks no peeling or chipping, and sometimes the manicure will last 2 days. I guess it just depends who is doing your manicure and if they're taking their time or not. Dip has been my most recent go to and I love it! For the most part they always do a good job. So if you're super picky about your manicures, I would maybe suggest checking out some other places. For pedicures though, this is your spot. The pictures are from my most recent pedicure and it's been almost a week since I got it. (Regular white nail polish, not shellac or anything fancy) read more

I love that it's close to home but I also love the tech I request every time. Lindsay does the best waxing I have ever experienced. She is so smooth and gentle, she spends the time necessary to do a great job. Her attention to detail is phenomenal, especially with manicures and pedicures. And when I've damaged a nail she has been so helpful to repair it. This is a service oriented job and she does it with her heart! On occasion the wait time has been longer than anticipated, but after communicating my need to be timely when scheduling, they've taken care of me in a timely manner. read more

Came here for the first time this weekend with my mum and it was lovely! Best pedicure I've ever had at this price and the shellac manicure was wonderful as well. Great attention to detail, friendly staff, my appointment was on time, clean, reasonable prices, and it didn't overwhelmingly smell like polish and chemicals. I will for sure be back! read more

I am so glad that a fellow teacher recommended TLC Nails to me!!! I had no idea where they were and I had been admiring her beautifully manicured nails for weeks. I am glad I finally asked her where she goes. My students love my nails too and have told me how pretty they are. Great work Michael!! In a very short time I have already returned for multiple pedicures and shellac manicures there at TLC. Everyone who works there is very friendly and they work well together. This is my first time to this shop and my friend Laura recommended it. I am very pleased with the services and their skills . I love the deluxe pedicure with a glass of hot tea on this raining day, and listen to the relaxing music . Your staffs are very friendly and professional. My neck is sore today, they pay attention to detail and offers me a neck warmer and warming lotion, it did wonders for my neck. I can't express that gratitude I have for all these technicians! Every time I call Kathy answers, "Hello Aurora". They all know me by name, and are always so happy when I come in. They aren't just their for their money and paychecks, but there to pamper you, and make you feel your best. When I ask for their opinion on something they give it to you honest, if they don't agree with you they'll suggest something else. Just a relaxing, bubbly, and clean environment. I live in low Angeles but I come and visit often and have been to hundreds of nail salons but WoW this place is amazing. They literally take there time they aim to please. When you walk in you get your spa drink your warm shoulder compress . Me my Mother in law and daughter got our nails done we all loved them. My daughter is 2 got a Mani pedi gel nails and wow they were so patient with her. If your picky and love perfect nails you have to come here. THE BEST IN TOWN! I have been going to TLC for a year and half, and I'm never disappointed. Tiffanie has been working on my nails since the beginning, and she does an amazing job each time. She is very determined to make sure that nails look great!! All techs are great and the owner is always very friendly. You can tell that their main goal is customer satisfaction. Wonderful nail salon! I went in for a pedicure and was offered wine, coffee,etc. free of charge. The chairs are all new and comfortable. The atmosphere is calm and inviting ( no tv blaring!). Soothing music... Tony did a great job on my toes - very gentle. Everything is very clean. I had stopped getting my nails done because of my poor experiences in the other wilsonville salons ( my cuticles were cut almost every time). I have found my new and wonderful place to go! The staff was very accommodating, especially since there were 5 people in our party. The hospitality was incredible and they apologized for the wait even though I had extra time to soak my feet and enjoy the massage chair. They take the time to make sure you are relaxing and are happy with the results. I would definitely recommend this place and return here soon! read more

On top of this she left air bubbles in the shellac and streaks in the polish also. This woman is awful and I do not recommend this salon for nails. read more
