Our technician,Brian,was on time,called prior,came with shoe covers,quickly identified problems with toilet,gave us estimates and couple options to think about. I called next morning and next business day he returned and completed repair. Again on time,very professional and leave no dirt or waste after job. Prices are horribly high now everywhere,but plumbing can't be avoided,so their price point is adequate to area,but service is superb. Beware: Overpriced, Misleading, and Unhelpful…read more I called A&F Plumbing for a $59 service visit to find out why my water heater was not heating -- seemed reasonable. The tech was polite. That's where the positives ended. He relit the pilot light and THEN told me it was $250 just to relight the pilot light -- something most plumbers include in the basic fee. After paying that ridiculous charge, my water still never got hot. He didn't check, wait to see - - just said he relit it. He did make sure he had a sales pitch though. Without fully diagnosing the problem, he jumped straight to recommending a $875 burner assembly or a $5,250 replacement water heater, (complete with estimates) claiming mine was 11 years old, but my house is only 9 years old. Either the math was off, or they were hoping I wouldn't question it. I paid $250 for nothing -- no fix, no follow-up, just out the window, whoever recommended them should be ashamed of themselves. Definitely a bait-and-switch. If you're looking for real solutions and honest pricing, I strongly suggest calling someone else.

We hired TNT plumbing to address a leak on a vent pipe that appeared beneath our master bathroom…read more He canceled the first day and charged us $175 (this price includes a $20 discount since he had to cancel). He mentioned they may only be able to do the consultation since they had another job, so from the very start I felt like we were receiving rushed service. Dan and his apprentice spent a little less than an hour knocking holes in our drywall (in one closet he just started hitting the wall with a hammer) only to make his way up to the attic to tell me we had a roof leak. As I had mentioned in my original consultation, this was in fact a vent pipe leak that I would have been happy to pay to have addressed. Instead, we went through two roof consultations before I crawled up in the attic and fixed the vent pipe myself. I tried to reach out to Dan to let him know this was actually a plumbing issue and received no response. We found TNT through one of the Yelp project requests and I deeply regret choosing them as opposed to some of our other options. Between the price paid, the lazy investigation of the pipe, and the lack of response when I reached out to have the situation rectified, I am seriously disappointed with their service.
