I called ahead for a same day appointment and even though they were fully booked, they squeezed me in due to a last minute cancellation! I got a regular haircut for long hair and it was $40. I highly recommend Sara! She has cut my hair twice now and both times my hair has looked great! She does a dry haircut rather than a wet haircut. She is also very attentive and listens to exactly what you want ( layers, trim, face framing, v shape). They normally charge $10 additionally to do a hair wash and blowout after the cut, but Sara was nice enough to style my hair after the haircut for free! The staff is all very accommodating and friendly and the salon overall is maintained well and is very clean!

I had a consultation with you guys on my first appointment and you guys relaid to me that the work could be achieved and I will have a blended look. I made my point clear I want for the work to be noticeable. I do not want subtle look. I showed reference pictures multiple times. I would need to go to someone else to fix the issue which will be a corrective work costing even more than what it would have if you guys didn't mess up the hair. I try to resolve this very nicely with you guys. But you guys do not want to take any responsibility. You're gaslighting me to my face. I am so disappointed with them. I went in to get my hair highlighted to match my previous highlight that has grown out. I had a consultation with them 3 weeks prior to the appointment. Went in the day of and showed them the reference photo and explained to Sora that I want to get less damage as possible and showed the reference picture again. She said she can achieve the look by doing a "color" highlight. Even though room the first consult I was told that it wouldn't it be achieved without using bleach and I said yes that is fine. But when Sora the stylist said she will be achieving the look with minimal damage by using the color bleach I said ok you know best because your the hair stylist. She finished the work by basically doing nothing to my hair. The contrast on my from the perevious color was very visible and the looks worst then before. Then I asked for fixing it they said they will charge me all over for a fix up. I said no I am not paying anything else since I paid $220 already. They refused to fix it or refund anything. The place is sanitized between each customer appointment, has an air purifier in the studio, and precautions are taken in place for covid. You have to ring the phone buzzer so that a limited amount of people can enter the building. Make sure to book an appointment since Choi fills up quickly! I'm usually pretty picky with how my hair is cut, especially since Asian hair can be tricky to cut but Choi has always been able to cut my hair based on my facial shape and give me pointers on how to style my hair that is personalized to me. I feel like every thing was out of my control which is the opposite of how a haircut should be. I think Sue did a great job, I just got the perm today, so we'll see how it looks in 2 days when I wash it. I felt that Sue was very meticulous and precise. Since I don't speak Korean the only thing she asked me was how much I wanted to cut, and where I do my part. For better or worse, she took it from there ((I don't do very much for my hair, I usually get two haircuts a year, and the last time I got a perm was over five years ago.))
