I used to come to Spa Grace when Esther was the manager and always had a good experience. The new manager is a bully and appears to force each patron to tip 20% or he shames them. I agree that the nail technicians deserve the tips but I question his approach and if the total tips actually end up in the pockets of the hard working staff. Also, the space used to be very well kept and now it seems a bit ick. overall skip and try some of the new places in town. read more

I have gone back a cpl times trying to give it a chance because I liked the old owners but I go and spend 100$ on pedicure and it was mediocre at best she rushed just like a regular 35$ pedicure and when I received the 20 minutes massage the man was talking through the whole thing. when I asked for more gentle pressure he used his elbow. he wasn't interested in what I was saying but what he and his friend were saying that's it not going back again tired of mediocre service for top dollar! read more

Spa Grace is my favorite nail salon ever! The owner- Esther- sets the tone for the personable experience that sets this salon apart from others. Each time I come, I have received five star treatment. My nails are impeccably manicured (j choose the powder gel manicure) and the massages are the best. All of the employees work together like a family. The first time I came, it was because I was attending my mothers funeral. Esther felt so much for me that she walked me out to my car afterwards, and she continues to ask how I am doing each time she sees me. She also gives out little token gifts during certain times of the year (ie, Christmas) and decorates the salon so beautifully. I could go on and on about my experiences at Spa Grace!! I have mixed reviews about this place. They do a great job but they also don't necessarily do what you say. I came in with an old powder gel set on and already had two of the nails off and a third off that needed a tip on. Long story short at the end of it all they charge me for an entire set even though I only got one now on. When I asked them why that was they said it was because my coffin shape was $10 more but I didn't ask for coffin, I asked for oval. Also if you look at the picture of the nails, they are more rounded than coffin. If you choose to go here, your nails will end up looking nice but make sure you ask them to itemize what they are charging you. read more

Another great trip here! I was on my lunch break and was welcomed immediately! I was in and out in 40 minutes. I had a nice complementary massage (which felt at least 5 mins!) while getting a gel mani. I added an additional 10 min massage after the complementary one. I have only been here once before and Hanna (manager) remembered me by name. I havent been to a nail salon where I was remembered after only being there once! I went to Spa Grace and got powder nail extentions. They made mine way shorter than I asked for and they were cut and shaped VERY unevenly. They recommended a color that was so sheer, that even they had to cover the powder with a gel set to make them look even remotely okay. To say I am unhappy is an understatement. I didn't get what I was aksing for or payed for. I would not recommend this spa for anyone who wants decent looking nails. If you want your nails to be a joke...go here. read more

Great pedicure and great gel manicure! The ladies there were very nice and everything was VERY clean. And, I loved the calming, zen music. HOWEVER...if you get asked if you want to add a massage to your service...you may want to skip it. I LOVE massages and carry a lot of tension in my back/shoulders, but the massage was VERY intense and aggressive. I had a really great experience here. I never usually get my nails done but wanted to try out the powdered gel nails because I heard they last a while. The lady who did my nails took her time and did a fantastic job. It's been three weeks and my nails are still perfect. This was the best experience at a nail salon that I have ever had!! Everyone was SO nice. I mentioned that I was cold and someone immediately brought me a heating pad and the owner brought me a hot tea. The lady who did my nails, Kim, was so sweet and soo attentive. I asked for a gel manicure and my nails are completely immaculate. She went over each one individually to make sure they were perfect. First time I went to this salon it was great, the technician was really friendly and did a great job. I went last Friday for a pedicure and dip powder manicure and had a terrible experience. My pedicure was about 12 minutes long and the technician rushed me the entire time. Didn't cut my cuticles or use the stone buffer on my feet. All she cared about was if I had decided what color I wanted my dip powder manicure. She was super rude. I have really thin nails right now because I always have gel on them and I sometimes peel the polish off on my own. I nicely asked her if she could remove my existing gel with nail polish remover instead of the drill tool they use because my nails are already thin enough. She seemed very annoyed by that and insisted that she knew what she was doing and that I would be fine. She didn't cut any of my cuticle and flew through the entire manicure. The gel powder has thick globs in some areas and looks very uneven. In the middle of my manicure the male manager came over and started talking to my technician and the technician to the left of me. Little did he know that the lady sitting next to me spoke their language and she looked at him and said "I can understand what you are saying and PLEASE DO NOT RUSH US!" The services were very good but I question the management. ON my last visit I had a gift certificate and there was approximately $2 left on the gift certificate after paying for my service. I asked that is be given to the the staff who had given me my pedicure ( on top of the tip I was giving already giving). the lady at the desk said it had to be used for services. Silly policy and it was the second time I had encountered nonsensical policies. On another visit they told me they were having a special $30 for 30 minute massage. They went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable, our nail polish wouldn't get ruined by our shoes and gave us a hug on the way out. I also got an excellent, deep 10 min massage. Came 2 weeks ago for manicure and pedicure had no app in about 15 min I was already seated !! Place is pretty clean they use the inserts for the tubes which is always a plus but I am NOT sure if they clean their tools!! One of the staff members took tools out of the little baskets put in the sterilizing pouch sealed it and went to use it on a costumer.. just Gross!! Pedicure was just ok I was trying to relax however the front desk "manger" was RUNNING back and forth the place the entire time I was there ! STOP RUNNING!! I usually love coming here. Todays nail technician was rude to me after i decided against a gel polish because it wasn't the right colour shade I wanted. She missed a section on my nails claiming it was cuticles when it was nail. I couldn't pay before she polished the base coat. the coats are thick and goopy. My absolute favorite nail place! Spa Grace has a great collection of polishes, highly professional staff and the BEST massages around. The real difference between Spa Grace and other nail place is the massages. You get to choose between back and foot - both of which are great - but the foot is extra special. After the pedicure, you can taken over to these comfy recliner chairs for whatever duration massage that you chose as apart of your pedicure (or can be done a la carte) and it is heaven on Earth.
