Such a cute atmosphere and a lot of good options on the menu, especially if you come during brunch. We came at 11:30am on a Friday, so we didn't think it would be too crowded, but we still had to wait about 40 minutes to be seated. This is just something to keep in mind if you come during the weekend. I didn't really mind the wait though because I enjoyed this restaurant. It seemed like there was something for everyone on the menu - they even have a bunch of vegan options for those with dietary restrictions. I got a salted caramel iced latte and avocado BLT toast. The coffee was amazing. The toast was really good too, and it came with a side of home fries. It says on the menu that it has bacon jam, but I was able to swap this out with actual bacon pieces. I have been to three of the five Toast locations on LI: Bayshore, Patchogue and Long Beach. All are excellent. Long Beach takes the cake. The space is huge, well lit and very comfortable. The staff is very friendly. We were greeted warmly, sat very quickly and our server Jay way very attentive. Both the General Manager and the Kitchen manager made the rounds to check on things. The food was outstanding (Breakfast Sandwich and Avacado Toast) and fairly priced, especially considering the large portions. House made Home Fries were the star. They just opened this new spot in Long Beach right on Park Ave. It's a pretty large space with a 'roaring 20s' theme that is so aesthetically pleasing! The staff was so nice and friendly. The food was delicious and there were so many options that sounded so good. I ended up getting Miss Lucy's Tortilla Skillet and I highly recommend. I'm so excited to come back and try more! My absolute favorite part was the Salted Caramel Latte. It was 10/10 and I've been craving it ever since. I'm excited about this new spot and can't wait to come back and try more of their menu! Using their virtual waiting list we were seated promptly upon arrival. I asked the server for some dressing because it was inedible. There was no garlic to be found and hardly any mozzarella. We asked for burnt fries and they were wimpy. The Greek salad my cousin ordered was also filled with the same dry chicken and he didn't like it. He asked for extra dressing too. His companion had a smash burger she said was just okay. We were charged fifty cents for the extra salad dressing. The food was not fresh. This was my second time there and also my last time. I was ecstatic when I found out they were opening a location in Long Beach. Toast Long Beach is very different than their original PJ location; it's about 4x the size! The first time we went- food was incredible and staff was great. I've been there TWO additional times and both times have been AWFUL! The second time I went was for my mom's birthday.. we got our usual, the coconut multigrain toast... BLAND. I mean awfully bland, that not even syrup could fix. This last time we went, I got the Nutella crepes ... they used like 3 whole unripened bananas and just a drizzle of Nutella on top. So of course.... Bland. My BF got this big meal that comes with eggs, meat, home fries and pancakes. Every other time he has gotten this, the pancakes are normal adult sized. This time... they have 3 mini pancakes. Okay shrinkflation. If that wasn't enough though, the eggs were cold. Oh and my coffee? My favorite delicious Vermont maple? BURNT. this is a coffeehouse, at least that should've been right. But also, our waitress was so short and not helpful. No water on our table. I had to mix my coffee with he back end of my fork because i couldn't get anyone to help get me a spoon. And at least 2 waiters watched me mix with a knife and no one offered a spoon. Right when you sit down you're asked if there's any food allergies and there is also a separate menu for vegan/ovo-vegetarian!
