Came here because we wanted to eat something before our wine tasting journey. What a surprise and jewel of a find. Thanks to Yelp and the reviews we chose Toast Temecula due to proximity to our destination and yelp reviews. Coffee and complimentary biscotti were delicious. The Rueben Benedict was a pleasant surprise. Hash browns were brown and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The poached egg was tender and oozing from the center. I'm not a big corned beef fan, but this plate was an exception. Well cured and cooked to the right tenderness, the Rueben changed my mind about this cut of meat. We came at noon during the week, so sitting at a table was not a problem. I overheard to expect a line during peak hours. Our server, Cameron was exceptional and informative. We WILL be back. read more

My favorite Breakfast, Brunch or even lunch! Maybe a cocktail? Or yummy treats too! Love the Indoor just as much as sitting outdoors. Mimosa flights are the best! I haven't had any food that I haven't scarved down here. Oh and their coffees ooo Lala! Covid options they also have take out and delivery so they have you covered. Staff are always friendly and kind. Plenty of parking and hours end by 3:00pm. Hmmm in food coma now thinking about their menu! read more

11 out of 10! We had the chicken fried chicken and apple pie French toast and both were insanely good. The chicken in the chicken fried chicken was juicy and seasoned to perfection, the biscuit was flakey, buttery and fluffy - every bite we were like, no way! And the apple pie French toast tastes just like an apple pie your grandma would make. I can't say enough good things. Wish we were locals so we could come every weekend. A must try!!! read more

5* 5* 5*!! Went to Toast this morning and was seated immediately. I ordered an omelette with sausage, cheese, tomatoes, and onions. It was absolutely delicious! This is my first time coming to this cafe and it didn't disappoint. Our server Cameron was very friendly and the food was amazing... they're quick to serve and food came very quickly. Great breakfast spot not far from the wineries in the valley. Innovative breakfast menu and they offer a number of alcoholic beverages. Food is flavorful and the service has always been great. They are currently practicing social distancing and taking precautions due to Covid. Do yourself a favor and make reservations before leaving the house, since the wait can be over an hour on weekends. read more

I really wanted to support this business during this dumb lock down. I admire that they want to to stay open so they don't fail as a business . Tables are nicely separated and it felt very clean . Our waitress was amazing , the bill said the name Karol , not sure if that was her or the person who printed the bill . She always made sure that we had drinks and checked on us quite often . She helped with any questions we had about the menu and she helped me decide on the burger I wanted . My only complaint was the bathroom, I'm really big on clean bathroom a and I felt like it could have been cleaner but maybe they had a rush and didn't have time to send someone to clean it better ? I can't wait to go back and try more things on the menu . read more

Other than the wait which kept us from eating here for almost 5 years, we went on a weekday for off peak lunch hours. Although still at 15 min wait, service was good. Our food was served promptly and was amazing. It was my dads bday and he got an amazing dessert. It was slightly loud so not good for his hearing and seats were not comfortable. read more

First time. Sat outside. I liked the presentation of my decaf coffee. It's a bold coffee. I added lots of cream to tone it down. It comes with a small biscotti. Nice surprise. See my photo. I picked a build your own burrito. I just wanted steak and vegetables, but it automatically comes with eggs and potatoes. I did not know that. So the steak portion was really small. Just tiny chopped pieces of meat. They did not use a lot of salt so the taste is pretty blaBut if you want salt you have to add more. I took of a star because the flavor overall was bland. But my service was excellent. I will come back and try other items. It's a popular place and gets busy with a wait list. I went early. read more

Completly full inside.Line out the door, on a Monday. Say what!? Great sign that this place is worth the wait though. You really get a sense of warm hospitality the moment you sit down. Offered water right away, asked for any other drinks within seconds of sitting. We were checked on various times too. Even though the restuarant is small inside, tightly packed with people the waiters/waitress are very attentive, deliver amazing service to everyone. I ordered the creme brulee French toast, my favorite. Very sweet, fluffy, melt in your mouth deliciousness. There are other amazing dishes on the menu that made it difficult for me to choose just one thing. I can't wait to try out the lemon ricotta, guava pancakes, and the tiramasu, and sangria french toast. They specialize in made from scratch craft food. Definitely like, appreciate this type of style. Waste of time. They had us wait an hour just to tell us they could not accommodate my 4 month old in her stroller. When I put my name in for a table, I told them 3 AND a stroller. I reiterated this 3x. After an HOUR wait they take us to a table and suggest we put our 4 month old behind us while we eat. Incompetent and rude. Total disappointment. read more

Wonderful find in a strip mall...I guess most places here are in strip malls, so not a big deal! Extra precautions taken for Covid, as their sister restaurant was closed at the time due to an employee being positive. Delicious brunch offerings and service was fast and friendly. Best American brunch in Temecula! Decent flavor and presentation. The atmosphere is also good -- relaxing music and perfect for a weekend hangout. But they seem not following the rules and opened indoor dining. I tried a lot of items here: Radical stack (4/5): Favorite item here. Definitely special and outstanding. Made with brioche, hash brown, aioli, burger patty, roasted tomato, cheddar, pork belly, ham, sausage jam, and egg. Large portion. I asked for sunny side up and the egg is perfectly cooked with golden yolk running down when I cut it. I ordered medium rare for patty, and I think it's closer to the medium side, but it's okay. Patty, bourbon maple aioli and roasted tomato create balanced flavor: the fatty meat paired with sweet and sour aioli and tomatoes is perfect experience. The downside of this item is that hashbrown was too oily which doesn't fit well with the whole dish, and the pork belly is cooked too well and also bland. But overall this is one of the best dishes I had in the last year. Pecorino potatoes (4.5/5): When I first ordered it as the side of Benedict, I was amazed at the pecorino potatoes! It's rich and buttery, with herbal flavor from rosemary. DEVINE! Only one downside -- it's a bit too salty. But that time the Benedict was bland, so they paired okay. However when I ordered it for the second time, the dish was not very consistent. It was still appetizing but not that creamy and lack of the flavor of rosemary. Still a very good dish. Strongly recommend! Crab cake Benedict (3/5): Crab cake is made with fresh crabs and shrimps -- it tastes authentic but lack of flavor. If they can add a little more salt, and Unami of seafood will be more attractive. They use baguette for bread instead of traditional English muffins. This is a perfect choice and their baguette taste good. The chewy bread, crunchy crab cake, and tender poached egg gave a variety of tastes. For the eggs one was cooked perfect and the other was a little over cooked and the yolk is not running. Reuben Benedict (2/5): The portion is generous. They probably gave me the same portion of cured beef as a whole slice of steak lol. But the beef was cured too savory. And the Russian hollandaise was not the best one I had. Creme brûlée French toast (3/5): I'm not a sweet tooth, but I like to order griddles for gorgeous pictures So I'm probably not the best person to review sweets. This is a decent French toast, and the Creme brûlée definitely adds highlights for the dish, but nothing surprised me. Red velvet pancake (2.5/5): Also ordered for photos lol. Looks really good for red velvet, but the stuffed ricotta and cream were too little. Still, people who love sweets may have different opinion on this score. Orange dreamslice (4/5): Amazing cocktail. 80% sour and 20% sweet side. Very suitable to pair with rich and strong entrees such as radical stack and pancake. The fruity flavor is mouth watering! Taro latte (3.5/5): The flower is pretty! Taro flavor is light and doesn't taste like house made sauce. But overall the latte helps start a perfect day with warm caffeine. Mimosa flight (3/5): Blood orange, pineapple, strawberry, and the last one I forgot (maybe mango?). Blood orange and pineapple are good, but the last two are average. read more

The restaurant was nice and the customer service is excellent. However, the food was okay. The Radical stack was okay because the pork belly that was in the open sandwich was dry. I ordered a Vietnamese coffee and it didn't taste like nothing like Vietnamese coffee. It tasted like a water down plain ice coffee. Less is more. This wasn't tasty or super amazing. It's just ok typical Bloody Mary mix. Not a fan of store mix. It has a pickled jalapeño from a jar and carrot. Not sure what I'm suppose to do with it ? Bite it and take a drink ? A brown cold piece of carne asada...... took my appetite away. Salads cherry tomato. Just no on so many levels. This is just one of those drinks made for the internet The wait was 15 min. The toilet was clogged. I had to ask for my water to get refilled. My toast for my skillet corn beef hash came out at the end when we were done. The hostess refilled my water and the waitress........ well. She tried. This was a miss all around. 12.00 for French toast and no sides. It grossed me out the toast was soggy in the middle. 40.00 down the drain. Early Monday mornings, has the feel of a modern small town coffee shop with amazing food. Very generous on portions compared to prices and willing to simplify some items on their menu for the more classic breakfast costumers. Overall this place is great! All the food I've tried so far has been delicious, the salmon toast is definitely a favorite! I could leave, breathe, eat, and sleep the chicken fried chicken on repeat every day for the rest of my life. My two year old who is in food therapy literally devours the plate like he's never have food issues a day in his life. Usually very clean. Staff kindness and attentive ness vary on the day, could def use some work there but hey, most of the time it's pretty good. Long wait so def plan to go before you're already starving. This place is genuinely the best Breakfast spot in Temecula, probably better than a lot of other places too. I need an iv drip of the gravy... just.. YUM! read more

I came here for my 21st birthday to have brunch and a mimosa flight. The service here is so awesome. Zander was so sweet and kind. He went out of his way to let me know what the vegan options were and what his vegan coworker recommended. I really appreciated that. I had the vegan blta and their mimosa flight. Came to eat @ 10 AM on a Saturday. Party of 3, wait time was about 30 mins. Was nice that they put heaters and giant umbrellas up outside in the waiting area. (It was raining) The space itself is a bit small but very nice. The servers are really kind, and know the menu well. I ordered the Steak & Eggs. Came here for my second time and it did not disappoint! Hands down my favorite brunch spot in Temecula. The food is phenomenal as are the mimosas! I took a friend here this time, and she was equally as impressed as I was. We both ordered the mimosa flight. The Strawberry is definitely my fav, and the flight is plenty enough champagne to get me tipsy (yes, I'm a lightweight!) We shared the chilaquiles and breakfast fries. I couldn't even pick a favorite because they were both so good! I will say that we could've both split just one of the entrees. The portions were so big. We didn't finish half of either dish! The host told us 30 min and we were waiting for an hour or more. They need a better system to gauge the waiting time. The pancake itself was good but the cream was too sweet. The biscuits were good as well. Pretty average for the price they have though. I would prefer this over a Denny's based on the hash brown and eggs. read more

Established in 2017.

Toast opened in Dec. 2017. As a family, we have seen a need for craft food in our area. After opening a successful restaurant in Old Town Temecula, 1909, we wanted to offer an all day brunch/lunch spot to guests in South Temecula. Our valley is notorious for chain restaurants, but we wanted to offer from scratch food made with love. Our family restaurant is truly a labor of love. From the tables, to the paintings, to the decor, all of it has been done by a family member or employee of one of our restaurants. We care nothing more about involving everyone in our restaurants! Toast is a family owned business. This is our 2nd location (1st is 1909 in Old Town Temecula). We care nothing more than about customer service and great food, so we hope you have a chance to experience it while at our place. After opening our first location in 2014, we have been asked by many patrons to expand into other cities. It truly is such a compliment to be asked to build in "you name it" city. We have had the best responses from loyal customers both local and out-of-towners. As owners, we want nothing more than for you to return, because that means we did it right! We are continuously looking to change and grow and value your patronage and feedback! If you look at the key on our menu, it will tell you which items are vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, etc.

Yes we are. We open at 6am and close at 3pm.

How bad is the wait for 6?

It can be 20-30 even during the week it's the breakfast spot to go to. I see a lot of customers are not in a hurry to get up and leave either.

Mu husband and I ate Toast, and while the experience had potential, it ultimately fell short in several key areas. To start, our visit began on a positive note with a pleasant hostess who graciously escorted us to our seats. The restaurant's ambiance was quaint, giving it a cozy feel that one might enjoy on a leisurely breakfast outing. However, the service was inconsistent. My husband and I perused the menu for quite sometime, before or waitress showed up, but she seemed somewhat flighty. She would pop in occasionally, only to disappear for prolonged periods. Unfortunately, this led to a few slip-ups, such as forgetting our extra items. The culmination of this was evident when we requested our check, only for her to head on break without addressing our request. At that point, we had to wait for another staff member to assist us with payment. The food experience was equally disappointing. The biscuits and gravy lacked flavor, rendering them bland and uninspired. Additionally, the avocado toast, priced at $19, seemed over-the-top as it was overloaded with toppings--a waste when the essence of the dish is simplicity. Overall, I would rate this restaurant with 3.5 stars. While the food was really good, there were a couple of issues that detracted from the overall experience. First, my pancakes were served cold, which was a disappointment. However, my husband's chicken sandwich was hot and well-prepared, so there was a bit of inconsistency in the food quality. The atmosphere of the restaurant could also be improved. The metal chairs used in the seating area created a lot of scraping noise on the concrete floor every time someone moved them, which was distracting and disruptive to the dining experience. Adding felt pads or rubber to the bottom of the chairs could help to minimize this noise. Despite these issues, the restaurant still had a lot of positives. The food overall was really good, and the portions were generous. Additionally, the restaurant had a cozy and welcoming ambiance, with friendly staff who were attentive to our needs.
