We came here for weekend brunch with three adults and one child. They have high chairs and was very welcoming to families with young children. My partner and I got the Korean Benny and the Korean Fried Chicken & Waffles. I love their unique twist on mixing Western Brunch cuisine with a dash of Korean flavour sprinkled in. Solid brunch by the wharf, I'm so glad we came here!! We wanted to stop somewhere for brunch in Richmond before our flight and I'll definitely be coming here again!!! Their lattes were super nutty and earthy and the breakfast foods were delicious. They put so much avocado on the avocado toasts and their bread was also delicious!! Was seated fairly quickly the past weekend - this is a touristy location so it can get quite busy - so don't forget to put your name on the waitlist! Plenty of scattered parking in the nearby area, some paid and some are free, so pay attention. Just added this to my go to places for breakfast in the Lower Mainland. Stopped by around 11 am on a weekday in a group of three and seated immediately. Plenty of free street parking in the area which is always a bonus. This is a Korean inspired brunch establishment with plenty of menu options to meet everyone's wants. I managed to sample three breakfasts during this visit. The Korean Fried Chicken and Waffles was amazing....the chicken was spicy and not greasy...perfect. Apparently the sauce that comes with it is sweet for our taste we asked for the hot sauce though. The waffle was soft but we hope there was cream, or butter maybe. When the weather is nice, there's usually a line as the restaurant is fairly small, but it's totally worth the wait. The food came by fast, and it was fresh and delicious. The service wasn't the best, but I think overall there's no complains. I wouldn't recommend a big party, and parking isn't the best in the area, especially when it's super busy. And the hash browns are the best we've ever had. 5 stars. Strawberry Lemonade a bit too artificial tasting, not up to the standards of the food. Finally visited this new brunch spot in Steveston and it was good! It's very busy and a little bit overpriced but I still had a nice experience overall. We visited on Boxing Day so it was technically a weekday which means you can make reservations. We didn't know though and had a 30 minute wait (left our phone number). The place is very small so there isn't a lot of seating. There's also not much else nearby, but Rocanini is close by so that was nice. By the time we finished eating here at 11:30, we heard that all the tables were full until at least 2PM so definitely visit early or make reservations! I ordered a Korean fried chicken on a waffle. They have lots of Korean fusion items on their menu but they're definitely not the only brunch place in Vancouver for this. The waffles were a little cold but the chicken and sauce were both really good! Very crispy and not too oily. We didn't order any drinks because we had drinks elsewhere while waiting for our table but the drinks here look really overpriced... The service was good and the inside was very nicely decorated. Very cute new brunch spot in Steveston. I'm glad my cousin recommended it to me. My aunt liked it so much, she ate it three days in one week. They have a waitlist on Yelp, but I think walk-ins are okay on a weekday before noon. It gets packed by noon, but I didn't necessarily see a crowd waiting outside. I was able to try: Korean Eggs Benny, Avocado Toast, Fisherman's Feast, Chicken Burger, Latte, and London Fog Korean Eggs Benny I'm normally not a big eggs benedict person, but I wanted to try items that were Korean fusion rather than straight up western brunch. The hashblocks looked appealing to me too. This did not disappoint as the Korean influence did make the dish more exciting. I found the beef to be slightly overpowering and too sweet considering the rest of the dish. I already don't remember their hollandaise sauce but that also means it was buried by the other flavors. I do recall it being smooth and creamy. I like how the biscuit at the bottom was still soft (not mushy) and not too hard or stiff. Their hashblocks were good. I like the crust on the outside and inside being airy while still maintaining the structure of potato shreds. The crust was crunchy without feeling oily or too thick or too hard. I wonder if they added cayenne to the outside. It adds good depth. The flakey salt wasn't too salty and gave good crunch too. Avocado Toast This was my favorite, because I'm really impressed with how much avocado they give and how high quality it is. They give you a whole avocado in a full order. The sliced avocados are piled high and really prettily. You can see how smooth and perfectly cut and smooth and blemish-free their avocados are. On top of the whole avocado, they have guac smeared on the toast and on the plate for more avocado. The guac wasn't as exciting as the actual pieces of avocado, but it still provided additional flavor and helped secure the avocado on the toast. The pickled tomatoes and onions were helpful in adding tartness to cut through all the fatty avocado. You wouldn't feel stuffed after eating it. They can be cut into thinner/smaller pieces because there isn't an even distribution of these pickled items across the whole toast. They let you choose the bread too: white, multigrain, sourdough. I got this with multigrain. Again I'm happy how the bread wasn't overly toasted or too dry, nor were the grains bothersome either. This was easy to eat, bite, and cut through. Side note, the lotus chips on the side weren't crispy. Not a big deal but would be nice if they were. Fisherman's Feast I don't know why it looked small in photos but in real life, the plate is huge. I got sourdough and bacon for this one. I'm not the biggest fan of this standard breakfast set, but I'm ok with the individual components. The bacon is American bacon but thicker and softer rather than crunchy which I like more. It's not too salty either. The sourdough they use has a good balance of sourness without a rock hard crust. I think they added butter to slightly toast it. The salad sits on the embedded bowl on the plate. It came with a healthy amount of dressing (balsamic vinaigrette of some sort) which came out to be very refreshing. My eggs were ordered scrambled but they came out a bit overcooked imo. Chicken Burger I wanted to try their friend chicken but the chicken and waffles looked like it might be too dry for me, so the chicken burger with the various sides seems to be a good alternative. It was pretty solid. The chicken was quite big, too big to take a bite directly. I tackled this with a fork and knife. I was surprised to find the meat to still be juicy and tender. They use dark meat. The batter can be slightly thinner, but overall tolerable. You can taste that they marinated the chicken well too. Glad they give hashblock and salad with this too. The spicy honey(?) at on the plate didn't serve much purpose as I found myself not touching it often but I appreciate the effort. Latte Solid, but nothing to rave about. I'd say it's on the higher end of average. I was disappointed to see my latte art disappear halfway through my drink. They can work on their latte art skills. London Fog The earl grey wasn't as strong as I'd like, but the milk plus syrup was a comforting combo that this drink was still enjoyable They offer plant-based milk (+$1) even though the menu doesn't list it out: almond, oat, soy, coconut Anyway, this is still a cute fun solid place for brunch.
