4.5* I am glad that we have a go-to breakfast spot in West Vancouver. They have mouthwatering menu and they don't disappoint! All the ingredients are fresh and the presentation is beautiful. Our server was courteous and attentive, making sure everything is satisfactory. The only downside that the place is too loud when it's busy. I think if they can add some sort of acoustic panels, it will be much, much enjoyable.

When in Canada, Bangers and Canadian Bacon, please... [Vancouver, BC Canada] It was around 1:30p in the afternoon but we wanted eggs and anything you can serve with eggs. The restaurant was pretty busy even at that time but we were lucky to be seated immediately. We had window seating シ We ordered a Classic Breakfast (2 eggs w/ potatoes and pork bangers) and a Threesome (2 eggs w/ Canadian bacon, and pancakes). Coffee and OJ for our drinks. So the Canadian bacon is different from our American-style bacon and is actually ham. They came served sliced in rounds. It was good but (for me) nothing beats our bacon which comes from pork belly and has more fat LoL! I also had a piece of the maple pork bangers (classic English sausage)... rich, juicy and sweet, it was different. I can't really compare it, it was the first time I've had these English sausage. The herb potatoes had a crisp edge which I liked. The ketchup was a good compliment but the potatoes had enough seasoning that you didn't really need it. I really liked the buttermilk pancakes. Was it my imagination but it had some crunch in them pancakes? Customer Service was okay... had to flag for a glass of water, never really came by except to seat us and when it came time to pay (which was a different gal that processed our payment with those credit machines right there at our table). Exchange Rate 11/29/24: $1 USD = $1.40 CAD Review #3608

I would like to take the time to update my experience at this restaurant. During my first visit, it was not what I expected, and I left a negative review based on that experience. However, I believe it is only fair to recognize when things change for the better. This time, the experience was simply magnificent. The service was kind and professional, the atmosphere was very pleasant, and the food was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. You can truly see the effort and commitment to improvement. I appreciate the dedication of the entire team and congratulate the restaurant on the great work they are doing. They definitely exceeded my expectations this time, and I will gladly return. I would also like to thank Manager Jessica once again for her kindness, professionalism, and dedication. Her attention truly made the differenc. By the way food wat Is excelent

OK SO poutine is a Canadian classic and if we're honest, costco does a pretty darn good job at it. but OEB makes ELITe poutine. delicious and hearty ingredients on top of the classic fries, cheese curds, and gravy. you can get short rib or lobster or whatever other wold combination they have! there's also a ton of other great breakfast options but the poutine is stellar. it's also in a beautiful area to take a walk around when you're done, or visit other stores nearby.

We loved OEB we went twice in one weekend. This visit was on Marine Drive location. The patio is roadside but a very short walk to the waterfront. Recommend leaving enough time to walk out along the pier and waterfront. Staff is so friendly and accommodating. We had a large dog and they set up a table for our group of 6 with our Great Dane. Everyone loved their food. We had some vegetarians, Gluten free and one with dairy free. Food was scrumptious as expected. The poutine has so much good flavor. OEB knocks it out of the park every time. Chai is house made and was approved even by our friends that are from India. Pancakes are fluffy goodness.

Super tasty brunch in a nice atmosphere. It gets busy but I made a reservation ahead of time on Yelp. There's also a wait-list you can check in to minimize your time spent standing around waiting. I was able to reserve a patio seat and bring my dog which is awesome. The patio is heated and covered. I had the Get Shorty Rib poutine with half potatoes half arugula - it was a large bowl, very filling. The curds, wild mushrooms, beef, and brown butter hollandaise come together for such a nice flavour. My partner had the A-Lott A-Laks Poutine (laks and capers). I tried some and enjoyed it, lots of fresh dill and herbs. Plenty of parking nearby, some free or 2-hour. Location is perfect for a walk around Ambleside as you digest your meal.

Just what we wanted! We were in town for Easter and were looking for a good brunch spot. We came just after 10 on Easter Sunday and didn't have much of a wait for a party of 5. Our table tried a number of scrumption options. The short rib poutine was a hit, as poutine was on the weekend agenda. Breakfast poutine? Even better. My grandson ordered the belgium waffle, it looked amazing and I was able to snag a bite, delish. The table ordered a crepe, it was quickly devoured, just the right amount of sweet for all of us. I ordered a healthier option, and was definitely jealous of all the other options but it was very much enjoyable. It was our second time in Canada recently and second time at OEB. This seems to be our go-to, and I would highly recommend.

his restaurant offers excellent food and a pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast selection is impressive and everything is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. A great place to start your day!

Giving the food 5 stars and the service 4 stars. We made reservations for a table for 9. The restaurant wasn't too busy on a Friday morning. Unfortunately we had to ask to order water and our drinks took quite long to make. All in all the lobster scramble on top of a bed of potato wedges were good. Perfectly scrambled and potato's perfectly fried. We ordered the lox bagel, French toast, poached egg and potato's, bacon and eggs, all of the dishes were yummy. Enjoyed my Bloody Mary! The pickle was delicious. The green smoothie was also good.

I came here for Sunday morning brunch while we were visiting from Seattle! I really enjoyed the food, the service was excellent and it's a vibrant place. I would go again.

I'm an OEB regular and they never disappoint! All locations are consistent and great.

I'm an eggplant lover so when it comes to Persian restaurants, Bademjan has long been my "go to"…read moredish. It typically has meat in it so I've had it a lot less ever since I became Pescatarian. When I read the menu for Miraas online and saw that they had a Vegetarian version of Bademjan, I knew I had to try this restaurant! I came here on a Thursday evening with my mom and we ordered the following: Mirza Ghasemi (Smoked Eggplant Dip) Breaded Shrimps Veggie Mosamma Bademjan The Mirza Ghasemi appetizer came with one piece of bread which my mom and I split into half. It was a warm and tasty appetizer. I was a bit surprised at how quickly it was served to us, but found no fault with the dish and sooner is better than later. With only one piece of bread for this appetizer, there was plenty leftover to bring home afterwards. Mom's Breaded Shrimps dish was super crispy. It was basically like a Prawn Tempura in a Japanese restaurant but a lot crispier than that. I think my daughter would love this dish and will have to bring her to this restaurant so she can order it for herself sometime. My Veggie Mosamma Bademjan was served with a very generous portion of Tahdig (Crispy Persian Rice) and it was the most beautiful plate of Tahdig I have ever seen. I've seen basic versions of Tahdig online. A basic version would be white rice on the bottom with a golden crust on top. This one had the white rice and golden crust on top, along with a sprinkling of dried barberries, something green (pistachio or pumpkin seeds?), and grains of dark pink rice scattered around the edge of the plate. It was so colourful and quite the sight to behold. Service could have been a bit better. Our server wasn't rude or anything like that. Just that I felt like I had to constantly stick my hand up and wave it in the air to get attention. Would have been nice if our server had simply been more attentive to us, without me having to wave my hand in the air. Food was awesome though. We will definitely come back again sometime.

I forgot to take pictures unfortunately; I'll do it on my next visit. Food quality was top notch; better than anything we've tried in North Vancouver. The patio itself is in a beautiful spot and they've added patio heaters, which makes it comfortable even when it's a bit cooler outside. The food was good overall, and the menu is what you'd expect from Earls -- solid options with something for everyone. Unfortunately, the patio cleanliness took away from the experience. When we sat down, there was bird poop on my cutlery and water glass, which meant I had to ask the manager to replace them. After that, they brought out another glass that had bird poop on it. So, I also had to ask for the entire table setting to be refreshed so everyone had clean utensils and glasses. To make matters worse, there was bird poop on the couch cushion as well. I understand patios can be tricky with birds around, but it did feel like the table area should have been checked and cleaned before seating guests. Overall, it's still a nice patio, dog-friendly, and the food was good, but I'd recommend the staff do a more thorough check of the outdoor seating before guests are seated to avoid situations like this. The patio heaters and location are definitely nice perks, though.
