Don't bother with all the others around North Myrtle Beach, Little River, or Calabash-- TOASTED is the best brunch for locals and for visitors to the area. Brunch cordials? YES. Amazing southern style "biscuit breakfasts?" AMAZING! Ambiance? Star Wars stormtroopers and Yoda but also a welcoming, fun atmosphere So ABSOLUTELY! The service is top-notch and the only thing I regret is sharing this wonderful restaurant because it's so good. Pro tip: go on any weekday morning or lunch and avoid the busier weekends.

This place was awesome. Owned and ran by a husband and wife, Toasted has a fun, friendly vibe, with excellent food and delicious (strong ) drinks! We were personally served by Nic (the husband) and he was funny, accommodating, and knowledgeable of the diverse menu. Be sure to give this place a try if you're nearby!

The Awakened Bacon Biscuit was amazing!! The staff were also great. I only post reviews of restaurants that I would visit again so I'm glad to add this one to the list.

Happy Father's Day to me!

Crazy good hearty breakfast in Calabash on Father's Day. No wait and VIP parking by the door at 9:30am. Very pleasant surprise. The menu is unique and the food is flavorful. My youngest who usually keeps it simple, expanded her taste buds with the Apple butter biscuit bottom. My son, got the sampler. My wife and oldest daughter got the fires chicken biscuit bottom and I ordered the country fried fillet mignon with eggs OE and home fries. I enjoyed my meal and joined the clean plate club and helped my daughter with her fried chicken BB. Everyone did well and ate most of the food. Service was great even with a large crowd. They have mimosas and spiked coffee but we did not partake since we were hitting the road toward home afterwards. I highly recommend Toasted if you are visiting the beach or happen to discover this gem as a local.

This was definitely one of the best meals I've had in a while. Service was great. I started off with fried green tomatoes. The steak was cooked to perfection. The shrimp was fresh and seasoned well. I loved the crab cake. It all paired great with the mashed potatoes. Our waitress was a real joy. Great restaurant!

Eddie Muenster burger

It was good, just not as great as the last time we ate there. They didn't have the ingredients to make the one drink I wanted, but my friend said her Dirty Mary was incredible. The Eddie Muenster burger had well seasoned and seared beef; it wasn't the flavor bomb I was expecting from the description. Didn't taste anything resembling bourbon or apple butter, but it was good. The fries were hot and fresh. She enjoyed her Pineapple Express burger and had a beautiful side of berries. The server was nice and very attentive. The decor is pretty basic, but nice. Be careful if you come in the summer because the floors are slippery!

Absolutely amazing food and service. We went for the first time and found ample parking on a Saturday lunch rush. The waitresses were hustling along it was so busy. Super friendly and always had a smile. We didn't know what to order but the sign at the entrance inside this cute restaurant said it all "bottom biscuit" and it didn't disappoint. It was plenty, hot, and delicious. We will recommend to others and we'll be back.

Sampler- one piece of French toast, one pancake, one biscuit with gravy, two eggs, a sausage link, and two pieces of bacon. Absolute heaven!

This was a great find! Went for breakfast and it was DELICIOUS!! We started with a mimosa flight-piña colada, pomegranate and peach Bellini. Very tasty! Emma our server was fantastic and greeted us with such enthusiasm and friendliness. She gave us great suggestions for menu items. My friend got the classic biscuit bowl and I got the sampler so that we could try a bit of everything. It ALL was so delicious! The pancakes were light and fluffy and so flavorful! The biscuit and gravy was amazing! We will definitely come back for breakfasts again soon!

Prime rib egg rolls with a berry sauce - delicious !

Went for lunch at about 1pm, and it was not busy so we got a quiet table by the wall. Massive Mimosa and Cocktail menu! We had delicious prime rib egg rolls which were hot and yummy. The fruit and chicken salad was fresh and tangy. The burger was ordered medium (but was dripping red juice and should have been cooked longer) , but was so delicious hubby ate it that way and did not mention it to the server. Next time we say medium well, but shouldn't have to. We will return to try some dinner entrees that were not available any longer, but their website menu should be updated to reflect that.

I went back for the first time in 11 years and had an even better experience than the last one…read morewhich made me come back this time! I went with the baked potato soup, prime rib sandwich, and key lime pie. All 3 items were such a treat to have. The service was great. Although it was busy, the waitstaff was still attentive - even taking the time to give some personal recommendations. As a result, I tried my prime sandwich with the recommended horseradish sauce and that made it just that much more enjoyable. The restaurant atmosphere is one of the best parts. Its interior is so well designed and decorated. It's great sitting at the bar or in the large dining area. I can't wait to come back, hopefully sooner than another 11 years

There was a waiter I had named Keith (I may have his name wrong if so, my apologies) who was very nice and accommodating, and I really hope he is commended for his good service). Secondly, the food there was was really good as well, and even the cocktails/frozen drinks were very unique and creative, which I liked. I also like how they have nonalcoholic beverages as well, as seen in the photos and I hope more restaurants, such as this one can expand on it more. One of the few downsides I had with the Restaurant for me personally, was the fact that there was no Wi-Fi at all nor was there any form of digital payments such as Apple Pay/Google pay etc, and I'm not sure if the no Wi-Fi thing is an intentional choice, but I think having both of those things in a restaurant should already be common practice in 2026. Almost every restaurant you go to has a digital payment option as everyone is using those. So if you're trying to call someone or use your phone for other things, it becomes way harder with the lack of signal. Overall, the presentation of Restaurant is very nice and I definitely would go again to explore more of their options. if you're a restaurant trying to go for a more old-school approach or style to things, you can at least do so while adapting with the times.

Took our beverage orders, returned quickly with those and water. She told us the specials which we passed on. Fred ordered fried oysters platter, I ordered an à la carte crab cake and oysters Rockefeller. Our food arrived quickly. Fried oysters were plentiful and crispy. House made chips were crunchy and delicious. My crab cake was wonderful - as close to a Maryland crab cake as I've had in a long time. Lump crab, very little bread crumbs, pan fried and served with a dollop of hollandaise. It needed some Old Bay seasoning. The Rockefeller Oysters were delicious. Plump oysters topped with spinach and Hollandaise. They need a splash of Pernod and would be 5 star. We split a piece of house made peanut butter pie for dessert. It wasn't good. Way too sweet and very soupy. Tasted like a cool whip recipe. Our tab was reasonable and we left our server a generous tip. We recommended the restaurant to numerous people we knew back at the hotel. I'd definitely return!

We've come here every single year for his birthday, and it has become a very special tradition for our family. The setting never disappoints -- the restaurant sits right on the marsh and the views are absolutely beautiful. With the sunny weather and peaceful scenery, it made for the perfect backdrop to celebrate. We started with several appetizers including the Scooby Snacks, Boom Boom Shrimp, hummus, and the Board Meeting. Every single one was exceptional and truly exceeded our expectations. For entrées, our table enjoyed the filet mignon, fresh sea bass, a cheeseburger, and the fried flounder -- all cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. There was also live music by Johnny White, which added such a nice touch to the atmosphere and fit perfectly with the beautiful setting. But the real star of the evening was our waiter, Luciano. He was one of the most incredible servers we've ever had here. At one point my son accidentally spilled cocktail sauce on his shirt, Luciano didn't skip a beat He immediately stepped in to help clean things up, brought hot towels, and even brought club soda to help remove the stain from my son's shirt. He handled everything with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. He also helped us celebrate in singing Happy Birthday to my son and even included a candle in his birthday pie. Luciano was attentive, compassionate, and truly the ideal waiter. He left us with a lasting impression and made an already special birthday celebration absolutely perfect. We look forward to continuing our yearly tradition at The Oyster Rock and hope to see Luciano again next year!

Our second visit started out questionable with the parking lot unwalkable cause of the resent bad weather. Rain puddles and moon craters aplenty. Going in seemed awkward having the diners look at you because we brought in a rush of cold air. Everyone there was eating with thier coats on. Alot of restaurants have a tent breeze way but not here. One of the waitress gave a beeper and told us we could either wait out side or in our cars. It was cold that day. That wasn't a great option. My meal was a questionable experience. Once handed our menus they appeared dirty and manhandled. My last visit the rolls that were giving out weren't' bake at all. This visit the same way. Gummy at first not fully baked and if not eating right away hard as a rock. Thats the second time it was severed like that. I ordered the chicken strips. 4 in all. Not great. When I woke up the next day I was wondering WHY the roof of my mouth was torn up. This tells me that the breading was old and heated up. Look not every place can be like Chick Fill A. I get it. . The atmosphere was kind of depressing. The lighting was all over the place. Bright light bulbs not matching. LED's with regular bulbs. The first time I was there I thought that the waitress wearing rip jeans was maybe a fluke but there she is again. The same jeans. The rag she used to wipe the tables matched her pants. Very off-putting to say the least. I would think this place is popular causet there is'nt much dinning in that area of Calabash. I'm never going back. A sure sign of a place that is questionable the sign out front is awash with green mold. A good power wash could help that.
