I also can't stand when restaurants serve salads on the square type of plate or tray. It's virtually impossible to eat off of properly. They once served a nice heaping of crispy garlic bread. Mine was soggy and unappetizing. I was starving so I ate it. The good thing is that I have no overeating guilt from eating a gluttonous meal here at least lol. Meh, quality has declined dramatically, especially for a salad that is close to $20. Get the Cobb salad at Crawdads. They do it right!! Thankfully, their iced tea is brewed there (none of that awful machine iced tea!), and they serve it in a huge, oversized plastic cup. Best of all, when I was paying my bill, the food server offered to make the tea to go. She got a huge to-go cup and brought it back half-filled with iced tea. I put the rest of what I had in it and was set for the rest of the morning with delicious homemade iced tea! Wonderful service! I've actually been visiting this restaurant since I was a teenager in the early 1980s. My parents used to have breakfast here every Saturday morning.
