Long diner bar but not many seats

Nice little place. Excellent service. Had one of their scramble bowls Green Mountains. Crispy home fries, avocado, corned beef and ask for the eggs your way versus scrambled. I had them over easy. My better half had a traditional 2 eggs bacon and grits. Said the bread was phenomenal and they were very generous with the bacon. 4 pieces. Good place for a late breakfast.

    Great coffee!!!

Super nice staff! Wonderful good! Great patio! Leo is wonderful behind the bar and very nice!

We had a coupon from our local Entertainment Book and decided to try this restaurant out. It is located in a strip mall along Rt 17 by restaurant row. Once Inside, the nice, bright, inviting "beachy" decor was well done. We were greeted warmly and quickly seated. All of the staff was very friendly and came by frequently to check on us. The menu had a good variety of breakfast offerings. Regular plates, omelets, skillets and Benedict. They also have a lunch menu which we will try another day. I had the corned beef Benedict with fruit. It was excellent and the the corned beef was obviously homemade. Kim had a Sunrise spinach scrambler which she really enjoyed as well. Overall a very good breakfast and we will go back to try out the lunch menu.

Stopped by here for an early morning breakfast before 10am and there was a decent crowd already. I sat at the bar with plenty of seating. Service was good - my waiter was attentive. I ordered a mimosa and the biscuits and gravy. Not the most aesthetically looking plate but it was a solid breakfast. Food came out extremely fast. Menu had an abundance of items to choose and decently priced. If you want fast and easy breakfast, try Toasty out! If I stay in the area again, I would come back here.

Let me start off by saying this place is absolutely phenomenal. The service was terrific. Greeted at the door at around 9:30am, sat down as soon as we walked in and the waitress, Sandi, arrived within the minute to take our drink order. The music is not terribly loud but loud enough to enjoy breakfast and Sandi kept coming back in to check on us while we were here. The food was spectacular. I ordered the Cinnamon rolls and the family ordered the chicken and waffles and the steak and potatoes. If you're in the area on vacation, don't hesitate to stop by Toasty's. You won't regret it. Fast, great service and delicious breakfast. Thank you so much!!

This is one of those few reviews that I'm absolutely torn when it comes to how to go with this. Possibly 3.5 stars. Food was very good but service was abysmal. We went for breakfast on a rainy morning. Really not that crowded. We were seated within 5 minutes. Inside is very casual with an island vibe. After a solid 15 minutes, my wife said, "do you think anyone is going to acknowledge us?" Coincidentally, 2 minutes later, a young lady came over to take our drink order only. My in laws wanted mimosas. They couldn't make them because there was no bartender and she was too young to make them. Ok... There was 6 of us, 4 of us decided we'll go with cappuccinos.. Nope, that's wasn't going to happen. No one to make that either. My middle son worked at a pancake house last year while going to college and he said he was responsible for making cappuccinos; there wasn't a person that made them. Ok fine, we found suitable alternatives. Now about another 15-18 minutes go by and my wife asked her as she was walking by.... "Whenever you're ready, we're ready to order". She says, "oh my God, I'm so sorry". She somehow forgot to take our order. Food was very good. Corned beef hash was as fresh as fresh can be. My son got a burger and it looked excellent. I think we just ultimately had a bad luck experience service wise but I have to review based on my experience.

My oh my, I had a time at Toasty! I stopped by with two friends because we all wanted breakfast although it was lunchtime. Breakfast is good anytime of day though. Thankfully, we just missed the rush, so the restaurant had calmed down and there were just a few folks inside. Our waitress was friendly, upbeat, and helped us sort through a few options before we landed on our final selections. To start, we all had a toasty colada mocktail & shared the goat cheese and pesto grits. The colada had coconut cream, pineapple, juice, and orange juice. It tasted like a sip of island sunshine. I like grits, pesto, and goat cheese, but I wasn't sure if I would like all three of ingredients together. Surprisingly, it was quite tasty. Although this dish is served as a side, I would love to see it as a base for a meal like shrimp and grits. The cheese and pesto really elevated the grits. It was creamy, herbaceous, and surprisingly good. For my entrée, I had the sweet potato pancakes and the green mountain skillet. The pancakes used real sweet potatoes in the batter and they were topped with pecans, butter, and a cinnamon syrup. The skillet had corn beef, mushrooms, jalapeños, red onions, and scrambled eggs over a bed home fries. Everything was delicious and there was no way I could finish it all. My only complaint was the hollandaise sauce. It was bland and I'm happy that I sampled it before pouring it over my dish. My friend spiked hers with hot sauce, and she said that helped.

Wow. From the road, this place doesn't look all that special. We were looking for a breakfast place on Sunday morning on our way home. We saw on Yelp this place was along our route and the reviews looked good. 1) The inside of the restaurant far exceeds my first impression from the parking lot. We were seated at the back along a window overlooking the waterway. I noticed a patio where it would be perfect to dine on a warm day. 2) Our food was delicious! Two of us ordered omelets; one has pancakes; one had French toast; one had a chef salad and the other a burger. All of it was perfectly prepared. 3) Our server kept my coffee topped off and checked in several times to make sure we had everything we needed. Our best dining experience in the Myrtle Beach area to date.

Myrtle Beach has plenty of breakfast spots but most often leave something to be desired. We found Toasty on Yelp and thought we'd give it a whirl. It's located in the plaza next to Soho so it's easy to find. We walked in and were greeted immediately and seated within a minute. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and clean. We had to take a few minutes to look over the menu because it's not just a standard bacon and eggs diner. I was debating between the Norwegian Salmon omelette and the Shakshuka. I finally decided on the Shakshuka because it's not a dish easily found in the Deep South outside of cities like Charleston and Savannah. It was delicious. It came out piping hot in a cast iron pan. The eggs had runny yolks which and I absolutely loved it. The warm pita was perfect for sopping up the delicious tomato based broth. My wife had a Day Starter breakfast. I tried a piece of sausage and it was quite good. Definitely a great place for breakfast.

Y'all, this is a gem! We stopped here today for breakfast and it was one of the best dining out experiences we've had! Delaney, the front of house manager, greeted us so warmly and was so kind and professional. We chose to sit river view and it did not disappoint. We saw a deer with her babies at the waters edge and a lot of bird life. Onto the food - delicious. Hands down. The granola with figs and fruit was so good, bacon cooked perfectly and my husband loved his custom omelette. He also was very impressed that the OJ was fresh squeezed. Plenty of parking, great food, wonderful staff, gorgeous decor and casual atmosphere. A++++ Highly recommend!

I would come back here. I will say it was busy and the food took a while but that's normal there is only so many people in the back cooking at once. The food was hot and fresh and the orange juice is very good it was some of the best orange juice I had! I was sad the gluten free pancakes had milk in them I came just to try them but since I couldn't do the pancakes I got the veggie omelette it was very good! The staff was nice and friendly and the place was very clean!

Lindsey and Nickels were a great team behind the bar, providing excellent service! I had a Bloody Mary and when I said I wish it was a little spicy, Nickels quickly produced a jalepeno. Our must-order starters are the fried Brussels sprouts and the pimento cheese and chip dip. Wish there was more consistency in the tortilla chips as the restaurant made ones with honey dusting are superior to their store bought version. For mains, the smothered chicken is the standout. We much prefer it over the bone-in fried chicken--the pieces are juicier and more flavorful compared to the fried large bone-in chicken breast, which can be a bit less exciting. Go for the hot honey bird if you want a kick. The biscuits are a bit dry and A-OK - the butter and jam makes it taste better. If you're in the mood for something sweet with cinnamon and fall/winter spices, then sweet potato pancakes is a good option. The best value is coming during happy hour, though the offerings change periodically, so it's worth checking what's available. The restaurant is located right in the heart of Market Common, with free street parking and nearby lots, making it an easy and enjoyable stop overall.
