    Todd's Creole Kitchen completely blew me away and exceeded my expectations. The staff are wonderful and super attentive, they held open the door for us upon arrival and departure! Our server (Josie), was very helpful and knowledgeable with the menu. She expressed her liking for the blackened chicken as a choice of meat for the pasta and it was absolutely incredible! The establishment itself is gorgeous and, embodies a moody elegancy. I particularly enjoy the seafood display in front when you enter! It is super unique and I have yet to encounter something like that in any other restaurant. Today for our visit we ordered various items from the drink menu. I started with a daiquiri flight so for next time I know which one is best in a full size (I will be getting the Rum Runner since I am the biggest fan of cherry flavored items). (; We also picked out some of their Funtinis, the Dirty Monkey and the Snickerdoodle, which were both delightful drinks! Another thing I have not yet seen in other establishments is the shaker they leave behind at the table! We got a second drink out of that which feels like money well spent! We also indulged in some of their starters, the Gator Bites and Steak Nachos. I personally, am skeptical in foods on the unique aspect of things however, the Gator bites were absolutely fabulous! The Steak Nachos also did not disappoint and too were fabulous however, they are GINORMOUS and to note, you'll definitely need extra hands to devour this monster. Only complaint is that the nachos are TOO BIG and caused us to be full before our meal got to us (totally a personal problem but a delicious one, LOL). To conclude, we ordered the Yo Burger and Creole Pasta with the Blackened Chicken. The burger was cooked to perfection with a great variety of toppings to choose from, creating a phenomenal burger experience! The pasta also, was not short of perfection and tied together so nicely with their Blackened Chicken! Unfortunately, we were too full to try out some desserts but we will save that for next time. (;

    Great place on the west side for cajun food! From the moment we walked in, to the food being served this place represented! The service was excellent! We started out with a flight of margaritas, all were tasty! We had the crab cakes for appetizer. I had the blackened pasta with shrimp and salad. My husband had the voodoo catfish and sides. And my MIL had the fried catfish with sides. We all had to ask for a box, the portions were SO BIG! Then the server came by and said we have to try the beignets! So we ordered the beignets....So reminded me of Louisiana! This place replaced a bar and grill. And you can't even tell that there was an island vibe bar and grill in there previously. The vibe is upscale casual. We will return!

    Crawfish and shrimp boil

    I've had a craving for a crawfish boil for a while so me and some girl friends went out tonight and we were all disappointed after some high hopes! The Brie and gumbo was great but the boil itself was WAY too salty to enjoy, the crawfish were itty bitty, and the corn was still frozen inside. The spice level would have been perfect had it not been overpowered by the salt. We ended the dinner with a massive banana bread pudding the size of your head which would have made us all happy but it was very bitter and overpowered by cloves(??). We all took one bite and left it there. For barely sub a hundred dollars for this meal, I'm so regretful!

    I had the blackened catfish... massive portion! It was seasoned well and very tasty. Everyone enjoyed their food and the service was good... thy totally forgot we ordered an app until the end of the meal so they didn't charge us for it and the manager also gave a coupon totally unprompted! Will be going back

    Food was excellent. Sat outside because it was a shorter wait. The atmosphere inside would have been nice for our date night. Arrived at 5:30 on a Sunday evening. The later was longer as the evening went on. Service will hopefully improve after staff gets more experience. Was never asked how our food was after it was served. Ran out of water and had to flag a staff member down. Waiter did make great recommendations. Had the gator bites for appetizer, delicious.

    In town for work and pulled up the yelp app! Immediately received a very warm welcome when I entered in the waiter gauge came over quickly. He was very attentive and provided great recommendations. I had a cup of gumbo and the jambalaya for my main entrée. The food was delicious! And the service was great. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in town for business or for a date night.

    House Salad

    This place was absolutely amazing. I love the ambiance and atmosphere. The staff are the sweetest and attentive, both the waiters and managers. The food was phenomenal. I enjoy a well seasoned dish that's not in a basic menu and this place exceeded that. I had the following: Blue Point Oyster - DELICIOUS! Large oyster. It did not have a fishy flavor, just refreshing and light! Served with many condiments that enhanced the taste. Louisiana Gumbo - DELICIOUS!! I loved the amount of veggies in this dish. Served with rice, sausage, shrimp, okra, and peppers. This felt like I was enjoying the true Creole food I came for. I loved the use of okra in the Gumbo!! House Salad - DELICIOUS!! They make their own dressing and honestly it complimented the salad perfectly. I don't typically go for large cut tomatoes but it worked well in this salad. Creole Pasta - Pretty good! I got this entree because I didn't want to be overwhelmed with flavor since I ordered the Gumbo. This is like a light hint of the Creole flavor in an Alfredo sauce. It tasted great and the shrimp was fresh. However, if you want the Creole flavor, I would suggest something else. Beignets - Pretty good! The beignets did not have any flavor, but the fresh berry compote and homemade ice cream were great! Thank you Josie for the help and recommendations! I recommend that everyone go and try this food out. It is a great dinner spot and unique :) I'm so glad I went!!

    Myself and my significant other went for Valentines Day and when I say the customer service was exceptional that is an understatement. I was greeted at the door by the owner Chris from 10 feet away. He was welcoming and had a big smile on his face. My man is in a wheelchair so the staff made it very accommodating for us. Oh I'm not done, then here comes the waitress JOSIE, honeyyyyyy she was fabulous, voice soft and calm. Made sure we had everything we needed and she wasn't overwhelming with the checkups. And the FOOD, ohhhhh the food was 1000/10. We had Catfish, chicks and waffles and Salmon with the most creamiest mashed potatoes. If you have not been you are missing out. Thanks Again

    Scallops and whipped potatoes

    Hands down 10/10 for this establishment. Chris is very accommodating to allergies and is very personable with the customers. I can definitely see this business thriving years from now. The food is phenomenal, and adds an exotic taste to the area. Exceptional all the way around. Cannot wait to return!

    Kids menu chicken and waffle

    Todd's Creole Kitchen is a must-visit! Every single dish we ordered was amazing. We started with the baked brie appetizer, and the fruit served with it was incredible--such a perfect balance and a great way to kick off the meal. My son ordered the kids' chicken and waffle, and they definitely did not skimp on the portion. It was generously sized and delicious, which is always a win when dining with kids. I had the braised rib, and it was absolutely decadent--tender, rich, and full of flavor. We also tried the jambalaya, which was a total flavor bomb without being overly spicy--just the right amount of heat to enjoy all the layers. Our server, Ariel, was wonderful and so helpful throughout the entire meal--attentive, friendly, and made the experience even better. Fantastic food, great service, and flavors that truly stand out. We'll definitely be back!

    Service was fantastic. The mussels were good, except the added chorizo tasted like bland browned hamburger meat. Their Flan was superb.

    My food at Todd's was fine. I thought it was overpriced and and the service was mediocre. I probably won't ever return.

Ordered the steak and grilled shrimp, broccoli and added some truffle fries. Steak was ordered medium rare and came out perfect! The shrimp were great. The truffle fries were definitely worth the up charge. However, definitely shareable. They were served with a garlic aioli which was to die for. Also ordered an Old fashioned which is one of the best I've had in a while. A little pricy though- $18 Service was overall really good. I was sat promptly with a smile. Greeted by the server quick. I did wait about 10 minutes for my drink which was odd as it wasn't too busy. However besides that everything came out in a timely manner. The gentlemen who served me was very professional, suggestive sold, offered appetizers etc... he did a great job The restaurant itself was clean and inviting. Fun country theme. Wish I had more time to spend there to check it out a bit more. When I travel through I'll stop again!

The service was top-notch -- our server was very attentive to the three of us throughout the meal. I was honestly surprised they had sweet tea, so huge bonus points for that! I ordered the ribeye cooked medium rare, and it was seasoned and prepared perfectly to my liking. The mashed potatoes were also well-seasoned, though I do wish I had asked for gravy. The price ended up being lower than I expected, which was a surprise. I may have to bring the wife here one day as well -- especially since this visit wasn't on my dime. Win-win.
