    Blueberry lemon drop
    Alicia W.

Nice, cute and intimate restaurant on the water front. Came here for dinner while in town for work. Food and drinks were good, our server needs improvement. He really didn't know the menu very well and it showed. Other than that he was a nice kid. I ordered the cod fish with mashed potatoes and broccolini 10/10. My boss ordered the Ribeye and Whipped Potatoes medium rare 10/10. For my cocktail I had a blueberry lemon drop. 10/10. Definitely recommend giving this place a try if you live here or happen to be in town. I'll definitely be coming here again.

Quail legs were so good - mostly meat and tiny leg bone. Fresh ricotta cheese as well. Service always top notch.

Great place that was walking distance from my hotel. Great ambiance. Great food. I had the scallops and the burrata salad. Sorry the picture was mid devour. Everything was delicious. I ate at a the bar and the bartender was on point. Their wine selection was on point. Fantastic find.

When in town on business, this a great spot for happy hour and dinner. Food was very good and they have a good pour on cocktails. My only gripe is the servers were trying to work tables inside and on the patio and our table got lost in the shuffle at times.

Probably the Best upper scale restaurant in Wichita! Wonderful service, very nice atmosphere, white tablecloths and outstanding food. Delicious every single time we go.

The food was wonderful. The server was kind, but the pace of service was horrible. We made a reservation for 7:45. Arrived and they said we did not have a reservation under our name, a manager came and pulled it up by the phone number and found our reservation. They had totally misspelled our name including the first name. Using V instead of B and e instead of a. I spelled my name twice. They said the pace was slow and we would have to wait for an available table, or they had a high top. We said we would wait. It was only about 10 minutes. Our server came to the table and took our drink and appetizer order and they were both out crazy quick. We had crab cakes which were rich and not too heavily breaded. We then ordered a wedge salad, the Cod, soup, and Halibut. Here is where it began going wrong. She said I'll get that right up. Then proceeded to take orders at other tables talking with the patrons for 10-15 minutes before placing our order. We didn't get our soup and salads for almost 25 minutes. The fish came out immediately after our salad/soup was done. The food was perfectly cooked and seasoned. If there was not another server bringing water, we would have been without water. Our server spent a lot of time talking to certain tables and other servers and was not really diligent. She came by with dessert options and said our salad and soup would be comped because it should not have taken so long and we could have our dessert on the restaurant. That was the right thing to do, and why I gave four stars. The funny thing was, it wasn't the kitchens fault; it was how she delayed dropping orders. She did it again with our desserts which we ordered to go. She went to two other tables and took orders and got them water, then went up front to talk to other servers. It took another 15 minutes for our boxed dessert to show up. Great restaurant, great food, that one particular server needed some training. But she did the right thing and we saw all the other staff really hustling. Worth a visit.

One of my favorite places to eat, always tastes amazing, great for a date night, menu changes occasionally so new things to try.

Food is good. Restaurant is fine as long as you don't have to deal with the owner, Noah. Not professional and lots of attitude.

Ordered the steak and grilled shrimp, broccoli and added some truffle fries. Steak was ordered medium rare and came out perfect! The shrimp were great. The truffle fries were definitely worth the up charge. However, definitely shareable. They were served with a garlic aioli which was to die for. Also ordered an Old fashioned which is one of the best I've had in a while. A little pricy though- $18 Service was overall really good. I was sat promptly with a smile. Greeted by the server quick. I did wait about 10 minutes for my drink which was odd as it wasn't too busy. However besides that everything came out in a timely manner. The gentlemen who served me was very professional, suggestive sold, offered appetizers etc... he did a great job The restaurant itself was clean and inviting. Fun country theme. Wish I had more time to spend there to check it out a bit more. When I travel through I'll stop again!

The service was top-notch -- our server was very attentive to the three of us throughout the meal. I was honestly surprised they had sweet tea, so huge bonus points for that! I ordered the ribeye cooked medium rare, and it was seasoned and prepared perfectly to my liking. The mashed potatoes were also well-seasoned, though I do wish I had asked for gravy. The price ended up being lower than I expected, which was a surprise. I may have to bring the wife here one day as well -- especially since this visit wasn't on my dime. Win-win.

The first time we dined here, we were seated on the patio and it had so much potential, but the stench from the nearby backyards (dog business) was overwhelming. The second visit was just fine, but this last visit was mostly bad all around. First, we were seated right away, but it took quite a while for a server to make their way to our table. It was really busy, so that is understandable, and the servers were all very friendly. It is not a quiet place by any means and our table was directly between the side door to the patio (smelly and hot every time the door was opened) and the kitchen which was abuzz with activity and really noisy. There was live music on the patio but that was out of earshot. We were served water and those glasses were kept full (thankfully because my son in law was dehydrated from attending the Wichita Open all day). Despite us taking a while to look over the drink menu, our drink order was never taken. We ordered a starter and got dill pickle bombs. They were fine. Standard bar food that we finished fairly quickly. We waited for 15 minutes for someone to return to take our entree order and quickly requested a couple things from the "specials" menu and a couple from the standard menu. We didn't mention drinks because we were eager to get the food order in, and after she left the table we said, "oh shoot. We didn't order drinks. Oh well she will be back." We didn't ever see our primary waitress again. People came by to fill water and to drop off our entrees. Then someone came to ask if we needed anything else and by then, we decided to stick with water. The first entree was salmon and chips. Looking back, the description might not have been investigated fully, because my husband was surprised that the salmon arrived breaded as you would expect cod or haddock to be in a fish n chips combo. It was not very appealing, but the fries were good. The server had asked if he preferred ranch or ketchup with fries and he replied ketchup but proceeded to receive neither. The second entree was a 6oz steak from the specials menu served with potatoes and a choice of vegetables. I requested green beans and both the sides were decent but did not knock my socks off. I ordered my steak medium rare and that is what I received. The flavor was good, but I can say without hesitation, it was the worst cut of meat I have ever been served. The steak came sliced and layered on top of the potatoes (probably to make it look more substantial since it was a smaller portion.) I had to ask for a steak knife because the table knife could not cut through any part of those slices. I got the steak knife, powered through some tendons and tried like mad to consume a small bit. I could not chew this steak. Until that day, I don't think I have ever spit out food in a restaurant, but I did not have a choice. It was either spit it out or swallow it whole. My son in law ordered a Cobb salad and said it was great! Score! Nothing terrible or out of the ordinary to report. Lastly, my daughter's meal might have been the most strange. Her entree was from the special menu and was described as a Shrimp Scampi Fettucine with garlic in a white wine butter sauce. At first bite, she immediately said, "Wow. That's really lemony." She kept eating (because thankfully she likes lemons) and gave her husband a bite. He physically retracted and said, "dang. That's a lot of lemon." She then asked me to try a noodle and gave both my husband and myself a fettuccine noodle. It tasted like the noodles had been boiled in lemon juice. The odd thing is that lemon was not mentioned in the description and the dish, upon further inspection, actually had lemon rind mixed in. There was no white wine butter sauce to speak of... just onion, garlic, and lemon with shrimp. It wasn't terrible. But that's definitely not in line with the description, and really not what she was expecting. A member of the wait staff stopped by and asked if she could bring us a sweets menu. At no time did anyone inquire about the meal. We said no to the sweets and asked for the check. My final assessment was that Sheets Creek is a nice place for friends to meet up and have drinks. They have live music and a nice atmosphere if you aren't looking for a quiet place to relax. The prices were not outrageous and had they been more, I might have complained. There were too many things to mention to staff and I would have come off as petty. Life is too short. Sheets Creek seems to be trying too hard to be unique and for me is missing the mark.
