We got seated at 1pm, 3 adults and a toddler. When we were seated, we asked for a booster for the toddler. Never came. Our waitress came to our table 3 times. First time came, and then excused herself without even doing more than a hello. Second time came to ask for drinks and order, but we had to ask for a kids menu, so she took the drink order.... And came back 5 minutes later with the toddler menu. Then about 10 minutes later to take our orders. We had no silverware, been seated for about 30 minutes at this point. Finally got chips after she put our order in. Food came 20 minutes later, had to ask for silverware. Our tortillas were missing. So asked her for our tortillas. She said she would get them, but hadn't come back. We never got a drink refill. We asked another server to get our tortillas, and then 5 minutes later our server came back with a snide. "My boss is getting your tortillas." Then someone else brought our tortillas. We had to ask someone else to bring our check after waiting yet again. We stopped here because our favorite sandwich shop was closed on Easter. I ordered the Baja fish tacos. When it arrived I was dismayed to see three limp looking tacos with just chunks of fish in some sort of sauce wedged in soft tortillas. It looked pretty unappetizing- no pico, no cabbage, no lime wedges. Just three sad tacos next to a puddle of beans and rice. I took a bite and immediately realized the fish was old and foul. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. Had reservations for 7 people at 7PM which were completely disregarded. This was not a case of lost reservations, they had them on file. Watched as others without reservations were seated and watched as they held a table for an 8pm reservation for a table of 15. At 7:45 (45 minutes after our reservation) I asked to speak to the manager. I have worked in restaurants and understand that things happen. My interaction toward him was pleasant, said it was my sister's bachelorette party and that we had reservations - he put his had up and said "I am sure you would like to be seated soon and If you'd stop talking I will get you a table". It was the most disrespectful thing I could have imagined. We then were sat at a makeshift table where we were practically on top of each other and servers had no room to walk around. The wife and I decided to go out for a quick lunch today, we both just happened to be home, the kids were in school, and we had a couple hours before the school bus showed up. The wife decided on Christa's Sandwich Board, but after waiting there for 20 minutes after being seated and were not even served water or any beverage, we walked out. I had also been wanting to try Todo Mexico for a while, the wife had been here before too and said it was good. So we left Christa's, and walked up the street to Todo Mexico. We walked in about 1:20P for lunch, we sat right down and had our drink orders taken before I had even sat down. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The place seemed medium busy, and everything went very smoothly. I ordered the Carne Azada, and the wife had a mexi bowl salad with shredded beef, both were excellent as were our Margaritas. I've always loved coming here, with friends and family, before high school dances, and for my birthdays. There's an amazing menu with vegetarian options, and their burritos are great! Come with a big appetite- like any other Mexican restaurant their portions are big. You can split a dish with someone and both feel satisfied. While I can't comment on the food, I can give the margaritas a thumbs up! My friend and I decided to stop in on Friday night to get a drink. It was about 9:30 and I think they had stopped serving dinner already but we were served chips, salsa and bean dip with our drinks. The margarita was delicious, not too weak, not too strong. As a lightweight who doesn't care for the taste of alcohol, finding the right balance is important and I don't favor heavily poured drinks. As for the chips and salsa, they were just okay. Maybe I've gotten spoiled with all the Mexican food in San Diego since I moved away from Snohomish but I feel like I've had better flavored salsa. I despise beans so I can't comment on that chip dip but I suppose if you like beans that it would be nice to have the two options for dipping. This place is a solid 3 or below. The staff is not friendly. We brought our small dog and asked to sit on the patio but the guy seating us just said "no no no". We tied our dog up out front and could see him from outdoor seating but weren't happy about it. The food is decent, the margaritas were mediocre and didn't even come in a margarita glass. The place is well kept and clean. Because it's summer, you can sit on the deck over the water. It's also fun to watch the sky divers across the river. The same guy who was rude about our dog also would not take our group photo and had us standing awkwardly till a senorita could come over and take it. I won't be returning here. I was greeted and sat, and other tables came in and were sat, ordered, drinks delivered and food delivered before I even got any acknowledgment. After 15+ minutes I waved him over and he said "you're waiting for someone?" And I said no. It's just me. They never asked if I was waiting for a second person when they sat me. After a soccer tournament today I tried to heal the wounds of a devastating loss of 4-0 by taking my girls to Todo! It worked!!! We sat outside on a beautiful sunny day and watched the fishermen down on the river try to catch some fish. The view itself was so unexpected and it made the day. We fell in love with their pica de gallo. I have never had one so fresh and colorful. Red cabbage, green cabbage, tomato, onion, cilantro and the perfect amount of lime and salt. Perfect! My daughter had the #21 the Carne Asada- she loved it. Not greasy and a nice dollop of bright green guacamole. FRESH! Served the usual way, but it was really good. I had two tacos one chicken and one picadillo. Chicken was bland but it was not bad. I added a lot of salsa and it was all good. The picadillo was very flavorful. My other daughter had the bean n cheese burrito (kids). She ate it all and was stuffed afterward. The ONLY thing I do not like about this place is that they use yellow cheese. This is a find for me. Very welcoming The chips and salsa also come with warms bean dip and fresh pick de gaio. They have a very big selection on their menu with many lunch specials. My first test with a New Mexican Restaurant is Chili Relleno and I certainly was not disappointed. For my Colorado and New Mexico friends they even have some dishes with green chili. Their prices are very reasonable also. I didn't have a cocktail today, and didn't give it five stars only because I reserve one star for drinks. read more

I used to love Todo.... But the last couple times I have been very disappointed. Do not get the taco salad if you're actually hungry. It's literally not even enough food for my 6 year old. The smallest taco salad I have ever seen. Also, it's meat, cheese and lettuce. You have to specifically ask for sour cream and guacamole, which you are charged extra for. Taco time makes bigger taco salads, that also cost less. The second time I got the todo salad, which is also a disappointment. It's small. Like cereal bowl small, and literally just has (meat) beans, one slice of avocado and a couple slices of red pepper? Bland, boring and dry. No one wants tiny dry salads. I also noticed they are using the word "healthy" in strange ways. FYI just because something doesn't have rice or cheese, does not make it "healthy." read more

Asked for Ice Tea no lemon, came with a lemon, When I said no lemon the waitress stuck her fingers in the ice tea and removed the lemon. Really she did. Food was terrible, un editable. Only had a few bits and figured out the fish was spoiled, my son said his beef was rotten and my sister said her meal was not worth eating. I'm frustrated that I have to write a negative review for Todo Mexico. My wife and I have been there at least a dozen times, and I have been there with friends at least another dozen times. We have always more than enjoyed our experiences. But not so on Friday, September 17. My wife and I were the first two diners of the afternoon/evening, so there was no reason for any problem. We ordered drinks (Modelo and a margarita) and the two enchiladas meal. Chips and salsa came, good as usual. The food came and my wife enjoyed it. I finished the Modelo and was wanting another. Our original server looked at me and the mug on the table at least four times in passing and never approached us. Another server came by and asked if we wanted more chips and salsa. She never returned with them after I did ask for more. A third server was going by--at this point there were a total of 14 patrons in our area. If you have been in that dining area, that is nowhere close to capacity. I flagged that server down and asked for the beer and another margarita for my wife. Both drinks came, and I wish I would have taken a picture of the margarita. It was served in a pint glass, but the glass was stuffed full of ice with minimal room for any liquid ingredients. I was able to get our original server over (we had already been given the bill and had paid) and showed her the ice glass. She (and another server) offered another margarita--my wife certainly didn't want another! The server wanted to know what I needed, and I explained that I wasn't trying to be a jerk, but to pay $12.00 for a tall glass of ice wasn't reasonable. Both servers blamed it on their boss! I asked that they take care of an adjustment on their end. The manager (red shirt) saw and heard what was happening and it looked like he didn't want any part of it--he went into the kitchen and didn't come out! It need up being a bill of $69.98 for the enchilada plate ($14.95). The remainder ($55.00) was for TWO BEERS and TWO MARGARITAS! This part bothers me as well, as the prices we were charged were not what was listed on their online menu that we used. Those prices were all lower! I waited to write this review until my credit card cleared with the amount to see if an adjustment was made. It was not--they kept all of my tip as well. I always tip well, and looking back, I wish I had held back. I actually contacted my bank to see if I could dispute the transaction but was told that it was next to impossible to get any help from the bank--it was very much in the hands of the restaurant to make things "right". Sorry to make this so long, but.....we have always enjoyed Todo Mexico and have never had a poor outcome until this one. It was a chunk of change to put out, to be dissatisfied. I find it interesting that we never got to have a conversation with the manager, either. I doubt we will return at this time. read more

Not a bad place to go, very friendly staff and I like the food, and they are very accommodating for my dietary needs! The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because a recent cashier that I hadn't seen much of yet was VERY ditzy. In almost a funny way. I ordered take out and payed in advance and I got just a chimichanga. Before I got my meal she asked if I wanted rice and beans. I wasn't really sure how things worked but I had already paid so I thought if it was about preference I'd say yes. A minute later she hands me my bagged meal and says "here you go, now if you could just come back with me and pay for the rice and beans you'll be all set" and I was a little surprised because I really hadn't expected to pay more and she says "it's only an extra few dollars" ...yeah no. I told her I hadn't budgeted to pay that much for my dinner. I don't think she was expecting my response so she... grabs the bag out of my hands and talks to her manager. He immediately gave the bag back to me, with another bag of chips, salsa and pico, apologized and I did not need to pay more. After hearing good reviews from friends about this place and seeing the reviews on here, my husband and I decided to eat here tonight for dinner and were highly disappointed. We were served stale chips, we both ordered small combination plates with chicken, the chicken in both meals tasted like it was boiled/no seasoning and the avocado was half brown, the salsa left something to be desired as well, tasted like a canned tomato's put in a blender and poured into a bowl. The worst part was my house margarita, no hint of tequila, tasted like all mixer with a price tag of $10 for sugar water. Staff was nice and checked on us often but the food and drinks left us wanting more, maybe we will go back in the future but not anytime soon. read more

Stopped in for lunch. They have a nice outdoor seating area overlooking the river. A little confusing when you enter, because we didn't know you could walk up outside also. But once we were settled the chips, salsa, pico and beans came. All were yummy. The menu is pretty straight forward. I had the small combination plate of a beef chimichanga with rice and black beans. It also came with guacamole and sour cream. The hubby had the large combo with 3 Chicken tamales also with rice and black beams. Food was good. Beef was goid, but I should have gotten the shredded beef. The tamales were also good, but Chicken lacked flavor and was a little dry. So we added a little salsa. They are now charging so much more for the same items (understandably, food costs have gone up a lot) BUT they have simultaneously SHRUNK their portions big time. So much so that it's laughable. Not only that but they charge for basically everything imaginable. They serve a tiny smattering of chips (1/3 of their previous basket size) and charge 3.50 for a refill (free before). The soda, charge for a refill. Salsa? Charge for more. The lunch sizes are abysmally small and not even good like before, but have gone up exponentially in cost. I had been to this place a few times before and loved it, but I have gone twice recently and been very unimpressed. While the margaritas are decent, the food is not very good. For such a cute place and GREAT location, I wish there was more effort put into the atmosphere and experience the customers have. They have a great outdoor seating area that overlooks the Snohomish River & that is a reason itself to go there. We've had the tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and bowls and while it's all fine it isn't that great and seems to have lost quality over the years.
