I called Tod's after my previous service company encouraged me to buy a new unit in spite of the fact that I still had 3 years on my warranty. After talking to that company, I felt that I was being "hustled". I spoke to one of my friends and they strongly recommended Tod's and I was a little skeptical. I called and spoke to Austin (who is the business manager) and he went above and beyond in helping me. We made an appointment for Tod to come out and look at the unit. When he arrived, he was totally professional. He did some testing and determined that there was no problem. He even suggested that he would return when the weather was warmer and the unit was under more challenges. This was just to confirm his original diagnosis. Instead of thousands of dollars, I paid hundreds. WOW!! WOW!! The other service company is history! read more

Called them to come out look at my a/c unit service guy came out next day fixed the problem didn't gouge me on the price now going to use them for a service contract for 2 times a year to clean and inspect unit read more

Hot air was coming out vent. Technician found the duct had disconnected and a simple fix and taping corrected the problem. They could have gouged me and told me it was crushed and needed replacement because I could not see what was happening in the attic. Honest people. The technician visually inspected all the duct work while he was up in the attic. A simple service call was charged and my room is cool as can be tonight. read more

I have been using Tod's air conditioning company for about 15 years. This last visit I was due for a new AC system. Tod and his team took great care of my needs in a professional and efficient manor from start to finish . They were very competitive with pricing, but superior with expertise. Worst experience of my life!!!!!!!!!!! I would never allow these people back in my home. After installing a new they have had to come back over a dozen times just to rig it where it would work for about a month and then they get a call to come back!! The owner is the rudest most unprofessional person I have ever had the experience of using!!! They don't come when they are supposed too always on there own time , never caring about there customers needs !! Just there own selfish selves!! His workers are nice guys and they are just following what the boss says so if you want to hire any of his guys on the side I would recommend that!!! Todd is the worst ac guy in south Florida and all he does is claim he's the best of the best.. He'll def give you the best price because that's how he works!!!! But when it comes to passing code he will leave you in the dust....I have a new company I'm using now and they are great!!! Pointed out everything he did wrong and illegally!! So bbb here I come!!! My mother used him for years so that is the only reason I ever even trusted him in the first place... Never again!!! Everyone that I know that has ever used him is now switching companies so they don't get screwed like me.... My last phone call to him was a service call and he refused to come to my house ever again because in my voicemail I was a little aggravated that I had to call him for the 13th time this year.. I'd give AR Williams a mixed but fair review…read more I initially called because I have a 7 to 8 year old Mitsubishi mini split in my garage that had stopped cooling. After calling several other HVAC companies that weren't interested in working on a mini split, someone else in the construction industry recommended AR Williams. When I first called, I was told they generally don't work on mini splits either. After explaining that I also had a conventional split system in my house that needed attention and that I wasn't interested in hiring two different companies, they agreed to come out and look at both systems. The technician who came out was excellent. He was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain what he was seeing. He quickly determined that the mini split had lost its refrigerant charge. After adding R-410A, we were immediately able to hear the leak coming from the indoor head unit, confirming the system had a refrigerant leak. At that point, he discussed replacement options. They preferred replacing the system rather than repairing an older R-410A unit, while I decided I'd rather look into sourcing a replacement indoor head myself. My only real complaint is the pricing model. The technician spent roughly an hour and a half at my house, and the bill came to just over $600. Coming from the construction and service industry myself, I'm accustomed to straightforward hourly labor plus material markup. AR Williams uses flat-rate, software-based pricing where each task has a predetermined price regardless of how long it takes or the actual material cost. That's simply not a pricing model I'm personally comfortable with. I don't have any complaints about the technician or the professionalism of the visit. In fact, I'd happily have him back. My decision not to use AR Williams again is based solely on their pricing structure, not the quality of the people they employ. If you're comfortable with flat-rate pricing, you may have a different experience than I did. It just isn't the right fit for me.

My AC went out at 8pm on Thursday night. First setting the appointment was a breeze with an instant text confirmation. I received a confirmation text when the tech was enroute. Tech was friendly and knowledgeable. He explained the issue and how he would fix it. This was a new home I bought 7 months ago and the previous owner apparently didn't do many services on the unit. He thoroughly cleaned growth that was discovered which I absolutely appreciated as my son has allergies. He called the owner "Adam" to get some pricing for a new unit installation. This ac of mine is 11 years old. So, it will be time to replace. The tech had me up and running within 30 minutes. System needed a flush to drain the pipes. Needed a cleaning. All done for a super reasonable price. They offered me about 8 options for a new AC unit and handled that ranged for Savings to super delux but did not push for a sale. Simply explained the benefits of each system. They honestly didn't have an issue recommending and suggesting a cost savings unit. So they aren't trying to bleed you dry by selling you expensive things you don't need. I greatly appreciate that. Lastly, this company is out of Lake Worth in West Palm Beach and I'm in Port Saint Lucie. They have no issues driving the hour to reach me. If you have an AC issue and want a friendly company that you can trust, give this company a call. Honest, professional , and very reasonably priced. I will use them any chance I get. Thank you to all involved and looking forward to staying cool this summer.

We spent a tremendous amount of time and effort with 2 of their emplyeees. They visited us in the field in oredr for us to educate them on the project. I visited their office, wasting 2 more hours of my time. Ive lost count of the hours I wasted on the phone with them, including multiple phone calls to their references. On a Wednesday, I recieved an offer from the company. I acceptd the offer on Thursday constituting a binding contract. We made an appointment to meet the next day with their construction manager to begin the project. That morning, the employee I dealt with, who signed their offer on their company logo. He called and reniged, apologetically, explaining the owner just returned from vacation and said they wouldn't take on any more work. I said the time to announce that was 3 weeks ago. I consider this behavior unethical. We had a contract. I emailed the owner expressing my frustration. He never apologized and just said they weren't taking on any new work. He also made an untruthful statment about when he found out about our project. God had my back though. I found a new vendor that Friday. Met and signed with him the next day for 1/2 the price Atlantis contracted for -- $100k LESS!. So, thanks guys. Thanks for saving me a 100k! so, not only were they unethical in their dealings with me, they attempted to price gouge me for the identical equipment! Thank you Jesus!

Atlantis installed a new air handler, which worked well for cool air; however, on Xmas eve when the…read moretemps dropped and we tried to use the heating, it would not work. At first we were told that the tech would charge $400 to come to see about this, and we refused; but finally Ben told us that since it was a new unit, they would waive the charge. Their tech showed up on time and hooked up the heating element, which had never been hooked up, for some reason, meaning that the problem was the fault of Atlantis. By 12/27, we were phoning Atlantis again because the heating element was working overtime and the temp in the house was 86 degrees. This time two techs came and reduced the heat put-out on both the new and the old units. Now they are charging us for the initial visit on the new unit, which they said would be free, because Ben mistakenly thinks they were working on the old unit. We had to pay $457 today, which I think we do not owe. Be careful that you find out exactly what they are going to charge you before you work with these people, as we feel that we have paid an amount that we should not be charged for.
