Deal alert! Check out your doordash app sometimes you can get ramen as buy one get one free. We have enjoyed the ramen before and love it so when we saw the deal we were in. We ordered for pickup and got the Spicy Shrimp Curry. When we got there our order was ready for pickup. When we got home we noticed that they separate the broth from the noodles. This is great so your noodles are not over cooked. There are plenty of of noodles and shrimps and the curry is not too strong. We really enjoyed the ramen. read more

My son ordered Tankatsu with pork and got 2 mall, wafer thin pieces of pork for $20.00 or more. I ordered a pineapple bowl with 5 shrimp instead of chicken and white rice. My family and I ordered the lunch portion of their dinner dishes. We got an appetizer and my family shared one of the options and I had my own. All in all, it was good food. I'm not use to fresh ramen, I'm use to boil water on the stove and add it to a cup ramen so It was a different experience. My family and I enjoyed ourselves so that's all that mattered. Order the Japanese Karaage chicken, Mega pork ramen & the Curry chicken culet. I love their Japanese karaage chicken, it has a good flavor, the chicken was still crispy and very juicy. The mega pork ramen was good, but just too much bamboo shoot. Which it was over power the flavor of the broth. Broth has good flavor. A friend and I tried this place out for the first time about a month ago. They have several Ramen options. And you can dress them up any way you want. There's quite a bit of variety of ramen to fit every palate, from pork, chicken, beef, seafood to vegetables. The prices are very reasonable in the mid teen range. The noodles have a good texture, and the black garlic broth is just out of this world. Luscious, aromatic, it is the best black garlic ramen broth I've tried. I also had the tofu ramen. The broth is on the salty side, but still delicious, though of course no way near that tonkotsu broth. The service is a bit absent-minded. I asked for the shichimi tougarashi as we ordered, so I wouldn't have to wait for it when the noodles arrived. Token Ramen is about to make me question everything I thought I knew in life. Top quality Ramen in...Fort Myers?! Say it ain't so. Even before getting into the food, Token is an absolutely beautiful Japanese themed dining space. Not only are there bar, high top, and table seating, but the wood gives this an authentic Japanese look and feel. The menu features numerous ramen classics but the Spicy Tonkotsu is calling my name. From the broth to the chasu, and even the noodle thickness and texture, I can't think of one misstep. I've been to so many ramen restaurants, with each building their bowl in various ways. Often times you have to pay extra to include certain ingredients. What makes this is even more special for me is this bowl features pretty much every single one of my favorite ramen ingredients. It's huge, hot, spicy, and perfectly executed. Even with my low expectations coming in, Im not sure this experience could have gone any better! What makes this all the more shocking is when i find out that Token is a....gasp....chain?!?! A quick lookup and there are numerous locations around the Tampa area and more to come. Before today If you would told me there is great Ramen in Florida, I'd say yeah not really. If you then followed it up with there is a great Ramen via a chain in Florida, I'd call you borderline insane. Token Ramen opened about two months ago at the former Tijuana Flats location where we consumed many Tacos Tuesday lunches! It is a nice corner location with outside seating area. Now, the ambiance incorporated some Asian style elements into the look. The menu is limited to Ramen and Rice Bowl with several appetizers like spring rolls, edamame, gyoza, Takoyaki, pork bun, grilled beef ball, pancake, seaweed salad and squid salad. We did a sample tasting during the Labor Day holiday. While we scan the ramen selections, I noticed they have the Japanese Ramune Soda on the menu. I recalled that unique way of opening the Ramune Soda many years ago. I made a mess of those carbonated drink! So just asked for for a Raspberry Tea Soda. Well, they don't have Raspberry Tea and I settled for a Fanta Orange soda. There are many variations between bowls of Ramen, the broth, flavoring, toppings and the noodle style. Tonkotsu Ramen is probably one of best ramen according to my palate. The word tonkotsu means 'pork bone'. A broth that's made by boiling pork bones along with some herbs for a long time to get a creamy, milky white soup. Wife ordered a Tonkotsu Ramen with Pork Chashu, pulled pork Chashu, green scallion, Nori seaweed, half egg, and bamboo Kikurage. The bamboo Kikurage is also known as cloud ear fungus is crunchy. She does not like it that much and I consumed about 80% and love that crunchy bite. The pork is tasty while the Tonkotsu broth is flavorful, and the presentation is good. The noodle is al dente and not mushy! On the other hand, my Spicy Curry Ramen is little salty. Again, the presentation is good. There is good amount of noodle and broth, but the saltiness killed the broth! After two large cups of Fanta soda, it stabilized a little bit! There is no dessert available! Our plan was to go to nearby Loveboat Ice Cream. Unfortunately, we were so full and skipped that trip! The waitstaff is attentive and courteous! read more

Today was the day to try it and went inside to sit down and the interior was nice along with some fancy chopsticks on the table when you sit down. 2. Takoyaki, Grilled shrimp salad, Spicy tonkatsu ramen, Spicy curry ramen, and Mega pork ramen were ordered. Portions were small and all the ramens were very very salty. Also, the broth for the ramen were only half way filled for all 3 ramens, which is very disappointing knowing that the most important thing about the ramen is the broth. The bowl and the spoon for the somewhat broth was very unique but I wish they focused more on the ramens if that is what Token Ramen's specialty is. 3. Takoyaki and grilled shrimp salad were okay and I would say these were way better than the ones they focused on, which are the ramens. The ramens were way too pricey for the amount you get. $15-17 for a small sized ramen I thought was overpriced with a bad quality you're getting. The most expensive ramen I've had for that portion. Overall, I really hate giving bad reviews honestly but very disappointed when I had somewhat high expectations for this place.
