We absolutely love Tokyo Bleu, and if it was even possible, we feel in love with it even more tonight! It was my 7 year olds birthday, and she requested nigiri sushi from Tokyo Bleu, of course! She may be a little foodie like her mama! My neighbor raves about the crispy red snapper dish, so I gave that a go! Beyond brilliant! My older loves the miso soup and shrimp tempura rolls. Everything was perfect, and then to make it even more perfect, they surprised Georgia with an incredible dessert with a fun sparkler candle (like super fun) and genuinely smiled, giggled and sang, "Happy Birthday!" All the staff joined in! My daughter felt so celebrated, loved her, "pieces of salmon nestled on rice beds" and didn't stop talking about it the entire ride home! I came here early on a Saturday night with a group of 4. We did not make a reservation, but I would suggest doing so if you plan on coming at a later time as the tables did fill up. The restaurant can be found right on Route 130 in a converted house. A large parking lot is located behind the building. When you arrive you'll be able to see the chefs preparing and cooking food in an open style kitchen- but the dining rooms do not have sight of this. All of the staff in the restaurant were friendly and very welcoming. As for the food- it's delicious & affordable. In addition to the huge sushi selection there is a variety of other Japanese meals to pick from. All of the food was made fresh, which reflected in the taste. Tables are set with chop sticks, but the staff will be happy to provide you will silverware. This is a great spot in Cinnaminson & I'm looking forward to going back. We arrived at 3:38 pm on a Wednesday to use a Groupon and had the entire place to ourselves. The waitress was very pleasant, she brought a kiddie chopstick contraption for chopstick beginners so my daughter (5 years old) could practice her technique on her Sesame Shrimp and Rice, while I enjoyed the deep fried softshell crab for appetizer, as well as 3 orders of sushi. We also grabbed the tempura fried ice cream. Service: 4 of 5 stars. Why: A huge pet peeve of mine while dining out is having to wait for and continuously point out a need for a beverage refill. We were here for an hour easy. All of my beverage refills I had to personally request or point out. Food: 5 of 5 stars. Sushi was amazing. I ordered two of what I believe was called a 'temptation' roll. I ate some of my daughters sesame shrimp and it was fresh. Shrimp was perfectly done, tempura breading was fried perfectly and tossed in sauce. Overall: We will be going back. The sushi was delicious and they have an entire menu left to try! read more

This is our "local" and I am never disappointed. I live locally and come here often, and sometimes order take/out. Always glad I did. Meals start nice with hot towels and quiet atmosphere. I think they have even upped their presentation in visits over the last few months. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful; but also gives you space. We try a new special roll each time. Tonight we especially enjoyed some new to us: temptation roll and Atlantic roll. Bleu sashimi is always fresh. My new favorite non-sushi fish is the chicken curry. Forgot to snap a photo but it came sizzling in a pot with chunks of crisp veggies. So flavorful. Pretty spicy...good for me but may be hot for some). We were making our way back home from AC and decided to take a detour for sushi so of course yelp to the rescue suggested Tokyo Blue. Upon arriving we were a bit scared, as it was a Friday night and we counted a total of seven cars in the parking lot. Feeling ballsy from gambler's high, we chanced it before our better judgement kicked in. We put on our big girl panties ( figuratively speaking, there was no change of intimate attire I can assure you) and went inside. The place was dead only two other couples, but we sat down and started praying for the best. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. We ordered a green dragon,, hot girls, Philadelphia roll, sweet potato roll, and sweet heart roll. All were delicious although I would not eat sweet potato roll again as it seemed to have a bit too much rice and lacked dimension in flavor compared to other sweet potato rolls Ive eaten. One roll that stood out as specially delicious was the green dragon roll..awesome! We also had striped bass sashimi and tobiko ( flying fish roe) sushi..it was solid! Very fresh! Ginger was white..yay not the fake pink kind. Wasabi tasted fresh. Upon receiving our check we were given a halfed orange with a pretty presentation. On a side note, the building is handicap accessible it has a side ramp no steps on the main porch dining area and bathroom is handicap friendly. Would we eat here again? Abso-freaking-lutely!! Prices were reasonable and presentation was spot on! Don't be turned off by the lack of patrons this place is a gem! read more

We had a sudden craving for sushi and took it to the mass's with a Facebook pole of good sushi restaurants in the area. A few of our friends suggested this place. I have passed it several times and thought the outside was cute and wondered if the sushi was good.... It's very quaint and intimate inside. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly as well. The sushi was absolutely, hands down amazing! Very fresh and tastey. We had the Godzilla roll, New York roll and our old staple California rolls. Everything was delicious. Came in for lunch. Had a good tea. Salad was iceberg lettuce, with a slice of tomato and lots of dressing. The sushi Diamond Roll was OUTSTANDING. The Nebeyaki Udon was large. One small but tasty and perfectly battered shrimp. Tasty light broth. The egg was hard. My Suggestion: this would have been tastier with tempura batter-bits on the top. Not cheap. But not expensive. Dined here tonight. Sushi was good. General cleanliness was grim. Sushi chef/waiter v pleasant. His white jacket was filthy from days of wear and staining together with his black pants. Alarm pad and AC control pad black with grime. Greasy hand marks Everywhere on orange paint work. Internal door to restaurant from handicapped entrance was black from hands opening and shutting it. Baseboards chipped and un sightly. Broken window patched up with cardboard. It was a disgrace to experience. Food was good. The owners need to invest in the property inside and out. PS I heard the microwave pinging many times and would like to think it was for hot towels. I strongly suspect it was for reheating rice. Won't be back. read more

Came here for lunch, was really quiet on a Monday afternoon. Place was clean. I started off with the sashimi. Fish was tasting fresh and presented nicely. I had the pork ramen and my gf had the udon soup. The pork ramen was just all right, and the pork was quite dry. Udon had the same problems, except it was chicken instead of pork. I would give this place a 3 because of the entrees, but the cleanliness and freshness of the fish bumped it up. Next time I'll try their sushi. read more
