Omg this is by far the best buffet in Fort Wayne. The food was fresh, chicken wings were so flavorful. Seafood Mecca and not Rubbery. The blue crab had amazing season as well as the crawfish. I had so much seafood that I left with my mouth so thirsty from the salt. There isn't a bad thing I can say about tomyo. We even had a sweet server who was o top of clearing pages and refilling drinks. She was top notch. The food was piping Hot On the buffets and served fresh Al the time. The hot and sour soup as well as the egg drop soup were fantastic. I'd get those as just a take out. I paid $16.5" but it was well worth it just in crab alone.

In the area for a couple days and was looking for someplace good to eat. It was a Sunday, so food selection was very impressive! So much so that we decided to go back on Monday afternoon. Didn't have the selection that they did for the Sunday all you can eat, but still very impressive. Have already talked about making sure we stop on our next trip. Very friendly and prompt service. Never had to ask for a refill, and dirty plates were whisked away. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very clean and eye appealing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We will be back!

Service was very fast. They make you feel welcome and [[HIGHLIGHT]]plenty of spots to sit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food was good and they have a lot of food selections.

We really like Tokyo Buffet & Grill in Fort Wayne, it's the Best Buffet in Town! The staff is very friendly. The food is always fresh. Hibaci Grill- they will make food for you. They have sushi bar. Fruits, vegetables, salad bar. Dessert bar, cookies & nuts. Several varieties of ice cream. Soups. So many varieties of different seafood, fish, frog legs, shrimp, crab legs, oysters, clams, calamari, crawfish, you name it, they have it.. Plus every kind of chicken you can think of. It's just a good Chinese food & the atmosphere is awesome.

We haven't been to Golden Corral in maybe 5 years. We stopped going cause of poor quality of food,…read moreroom temp food, serving area was very nasty, food everywhere. People letting their little ones fix their own plates. You know what that was like right ?? Food and serving utensils everywhere. A HUGE NASTY MESS !!! Saw some of them pick food u with there hands and back in the service trays. OMG !! Soooo we left. Didn't get to eat. Got a refund. Off we went to McDs. Lol, yeah we like McDs. So last week on Friday we talked about trying it again. Husband was shocked I said "one more try ". They weren't too crowded yet around 4:30 pm. The plate stand was clean and well stocked with plates, and silverware were wrapped in long wrap packets. The service line was clean and food was surprisingly steaming from heat. It was all hot !!! Tried the fried chicken, mashed tatoes corn (with extra butter of course) , their warm delicious dinner rolls, fried shrimp, they had 2 kinds both were hot n crunchy. Stuffing, gravy, fried fish Husband just loved, I thought it was good too. They also had beef chunks with gravy and sliced beef with peppers n onions for wraps. Ground beef burgers and for tacos. Just about anything you could think of they had. I had my share of shrimp I tell ya !! Lol Husband had his share of fish and steak a young lady was constantly wearing on a flat top grill. The dessert line was fully packed with goodies too. I had a piece of chocolate cake. Was tasty too. Husband 2-3 to different desserts. I was too busy eating to see which ones. Sorry. Lol All in all we were very pleased and impressed with our day there. We will go back again. We had coupons too !! $2.00 off per person. Hey any savings is great in my book. They were getting very crowded when we were about to leave. I think maybe 6ish or so. Can't remember. Glad we tried them out again. Hope you all will to. It's your typical hog trough, but was a clean n tasty one this time. Yes we left a tip for the waitress. She kept the plates off the table , and drinks filled. Go ahead, be brave again !! Lol

Those would have been better with a sauce to dip them in. We also had the pulled pork sandwich, kids ribs, and kids Mac and cheese. Everything was served hot and fresh. Shigs in Pit (Maplecrest) - excellent choice for BBQ in Fort Wayne…read more Shigs is located north of St. Joe Center road on Maplecrest. It's parking lot is easy in-easy out and has a very large facility. Upon entering you order at the counter from a large menu posted on the wall. They will bring you your selections to the table or carry out counter. The Mad Anthony brewery has an attractive looking bar inside as well. The team here was very friendly and helpful. The facility is very clean, orderly and attractive. The menu is fairly large but perhaps difficult to understand since it is posted on the wall. Cost is fair and moderate. Here is a recap of our food choices: -Wings: predominant smokey flavor, fried and dipped in one of 8 sauces. The wing was nicely cooked - no pink insides. The skin of the wing was a bit cripsier than i would prefer. The Alabama White sauce is mayo based, slightly sweet with not much seasoning or spice. It made the wings nicely moist. The teriyaki sauce is bold, thicker and has a slight back end kick to them. -Cole Slaw: nice fresh and crisp larger slaw pieces, thin mayo base, sligtly sweet but a bit watery -Macaroni salad: thin mayo base that actually came off also a little watery, elbow noodles were cooked perfectly, side veggies had a nice crunch to them, sauce was mildly sweet -Chicken tenders: moist and tender, no real Smokey taste detected, seemed to come off a little dry and tough -Corn "spoon" bread: mild corn taste, bread was moist and sweet, nice blend of corn bread and corn casserole -Tomato & Cucumber salad: very fresh and tasty. Cool veggie and vinegar tastes

After the ownership change, Uniq (now with lowercase letters!) is actually... okay now, I guess?…read moreStill nothing impressive, but it's a solid C+ and the new owners (heard they are the same guys behind Haru) actually seem to know what they're doing. My favorite things in the new Uniq are easily the chinmi (fishcake) tempura and the mixed drink (I got Green Apple, which came in a nice blue liquid like the chemical cocktail it is) which is... honestly kinda sad, but they got actual KBBQ now and are a lot more professional about the whole thing. Seriously though, for an AYCE appetizer, the chinmi tempura was quite excellent, though the shrimp tempura on the other hand was sad and soggy and raw and all-around depressing. Dae Gee still has much better appetizer options, that's for sure (nothing can beat a good Midwestern cheese corn yummmm). I still don't get what's supposed to be so uniq about this place though? Perhaps it's the tiny amount of broth and banchan they give you? Both have unlimited refills if you just ask, but something about it still strikes me as being particularly stingy. None of the meats are particularly special either even though they have more choices now. Most of the cuts are fatty (the galbi in particular is what we'd call a "trash cut" due to how fatty it is) and the different flavor profiles that they have like bulgogi, spicy honey or umakara ("sweet-and-spicy") just kind of blend together. The beef tongue also struck me as being way tougher than it had any business being, perhaps it was cut a little too thick. Much of the seafood is still obviously from Rang Dong. Though they got rid of the syrupy "bingsu" and just offer buffet ice cream now, which is actually a nice change of pace. It's about Paradise Buffet level in terms of cream quality, which I guess isn't so bad. Perhaps the one GOOD and uniq thing I can talk about is that they were playing RELATIVELY obscure K-Pop songs like Nekkoya when we visited, rather than the ultra-popular stuff that you hear everywhere in Chinatowns, with some Persona 5 OST and Ado thrown in. I respect. Should've turned the volume up further, though. If you're gonna weeb out, do it correctly. TL;DR I still like Dae Gee better tbh, but they have some competition now.
