Take a look at this ARTWORK! Simply divine sushi on another level! Black Spider Roll, Lemon Roll, Crunchy Rice+ Spicy Tuna, Baked Mussels, Candy Crush Roll !

Tried Tokyo Cube for the first time and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Double Shrimp Roll along with some toro nigiri and salmon belly nigiri everything was straight fire. Super flavorful, fresh, and made with real care. The toro and salmon belly melted in my mouth, and the roll had the perfect balance of texture and taste. If you're looking for sushi that actually hits the spot, this place is definitely worth checking out. I'll be coming back for sure!

The food was good, however the service here was lacking. There is indoor and outdoor seating, but there is no air flow inside, except when the front door is opened. It was hazy inside from the food cooking in the kitchen and there was a strong seafood odor emanating inside. With that said, we opted to sit outside. There were only 2 other couples finishing their food and the place wasn't busy. We sat down, waited, placed our order, and that was the last time we saw the female server. We were never checked on, had no water, and had to get up to request the check. I was not pleased and the overall experience was below average. This place is next to gas station/market, with only 2 parking spaces in front and 4 on the other end of the market. We probably wouldn't have eaten here if there was no parking available, due to the location and no street parking. The prices were average and the place was semi clean. We ordered the Mexican sushi roll, the Brussel sprouts, the spicy tuna crispy rice, and spicy ramen. The Brussel sprout appetizer was smaller than expected, but had good flavor. The sushi roll and spicy tuna was fresh. The ramen broth was delicious. It had a lemony, spicy flavor, and the vegetables were cooked well. Overall, this place was okay. Not great and not terrible.

I love Tokyocube and happy to be here every single time , their foods are amazing, staff are nice and friendly. The ambiance very lovely with joy. Parking in the gas station. We order Ika sushi, lemon rolls, lobster dynamite, lady Gaga sashimi, salmon sashimi with mango sauce and season change.

I had been meaning to stop and dine at Tokyo Cube for 3 years! And one day we decided to give it a try as we called ahead and ordered a take out. While the restaurant is advertised as Asian fusion, their sushi menu looks very deep and has many traditional offerings. We had tuna, seared tuna, ikura (salmon roe), yellowtail, halibut, amberjack, monkfish liver, black cod belly, jumbo scallop and squid. Everything tasted very fresh and very much on par with the quality of our go to little cozy family sushi restaurant in a suburb of Tokyo. I especially enjoyed halibut, jumbo scallop and squid. One sushi I did not care about is my favorite ikura. Unfortunately it tasted stale. And I can tell that with a very high confidence because that same bitterness I tasted when I had ikura that had been sitting in the fridge for about a week and which had been purchased as fresh as it gets from a wholesale vendor in Japan. They don't have mackerel on the sushi/sashimi menu unfortunately. The sushi rolls were fine but I can't say I found anything I liked enough to recommend. The Japanese beer selection had Sapporo (a few varieties), Kirin, Asahi and some others! Which is a lot! If you don't know what to get, I recommend Kirin. It is my favorite. The second time we returned to dine in and the service was very friendly and efficient. The quality was as good. If you have a bit of a sweet tooth, I recommend the desserts. We had this traditional Japanese yuzu cheesecake. We shared one and wished we'd had one each. The check arrived and it was a bit less than $200 for all of that and 2 beers and 1 non-alcoholic cocktail and we had ordered 2 or 3 extra sushi. With sales tax and 25% tip. And so Tokyo Cube had become our new go to sushi restaurant in Hollywood Hills. Location is interesting (to put it mildly). It shares a very limited space with a small gas station / convenience store and a weed shop. Only 4 dedicated parking spots for the restaurant and no nearby street parking on Cahuenga or Barham.

Wow wow wow - this little hidden gem exceeded my expectations. Super delicious super fresh super great and friendly staff. Amazing customer service add up and get a little pricey, but definitely definitely worth it for good sushi. I had a great time. We went during a good time a day when it wasn't too busy just a phenomenal place that's hidden in a little corner. I loved the vibe and the decor and just everything about this place. I will definitely be back.

Swung by on a weeknight and got a few happy hour (5-7pm) and regular items to share: Sapporo, shrimp tempura roll, black garlic miso ramen, and an assortment of nigiri. Staff was very friendly and we got lucky with finding a spot in the tiny parking lot. The parking situation is probably the most challenging part about dining in here - there are only a handful of spots in front of the restaurant, otherwise it's street parking. We were pleasantly surprised by the happy hour items, the shrimp tempura roll was our fav and the $3 Sapporo couldn't be beat! The ramen was pretty good with a generous portion of noodles and meat. Unfortunately, we found the noodles to be a bit soggy and easily breaking. The quality of nigiri was overall okay, with the uni and ika being our favorites. One bit of feedback is that the cucumber wrap for the uni detracted from the experience because the textures had too big of a contrast. Personally, we would have preferred it with seaweed. The rest of the fish was a bit warm and the texture a little too soft for our liking. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and we opted for the latter because it felt a bit too warm inside. The outside patio area is quaint but we were also exposed to a variety of other smells being right next to a busy road and next door gas station.

Where do you park? The front parking lot is super tiny.

    Are they wheelchair accessible?

I would say yes, since they have wheelchair accessible bathrooms as well as 1 ADA parking space outside in the parking lot. The restaurant is small, but you should not have a problem.

Long story short, my wife was starting to sweat so she wanted to be inside with some A/C. So far, so good. Our waiter was so awesome, but it was his first day, so understandably, he made a couple of very minor mistakes that were easily fixed. He brought out a dish we did not order (which he swapped for the correct one) and he forgot to bring the cocktail that my wife ordered. Again, no big deal. Now... the food. If you are looking for a sushi restaurant, this is not for you. They do have some sushi, but it is very limited, and frankly the options they did have were wildly overpriced. Selling salmon sashimi for $40 is a huge ask. As for the atmosphere, it's a pretty sharp looking space, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, but they leave all the windows and doors open at all times, so if it's a warm evening, you're going to be hot even if you sit outside. Also, the music gets progressively louder as nightfall progresses, so it can be tough to have a conversation without shouting. Bottom line, if you're looking for a good sushi spot, there are half a dozen other places within walking distance that are, in my opinion, much better. If you're looking for a wider variety of Japanese cuisine, and have a few hundred extra dollars lying around, then go ahead and give Taisho a try.

I live very close to this restaurant and go there pretty frequently whenever I have a craving for some great, delicious, authentic, fresh, flavorful food. Since my last review, I have been there many times but today I felt that there is a need for an update. I walked in around 6:45pm and got a very nice welcome from Joe & his wife Joy. It is a family owned business and they are very much loved and close to the community. We are all like one big, happy family. They get most of their clientele from to-go orders and 3rd party orders. The restaurant is pretty chill, big, and quiet. However, they do have fine music playing overhead and nice decor all over. I have tried many dishes from their extensive menu options and love everything that I have tried. On today's visit I tried their Garlic Pork Rib Stir Fry with lots of different kinds of herbs (17.95). It comes with broccoli and steamed white rice. Also got their 5pc vegetable egg rolls (7.95). For dessert, I had their Mango Sticky rice which is to die for.(10.95). Food was tender and delicious. Parking is shared with multiple businesses, place is very clean and they have one gender neutral restroom which is also clean. Go to DISH & I swear that you will become to be part of their family.
