Stopped by for a quick walk-up to-go order, and the experience was top-notch from start to finish! The hostess was super sweet and helpful, and my food was ready in a flash. I ordered the Tonkotsu Red at a spice level 4, and let me tell you--it is SPICY! But despite the real heat, the flavor was still incredibly rich and delicious. I'm usually not a big fan of soft-boiled eggs on my ramen, but I decided to just go for it this time and I was pleasantly surprised! Tonight I placed a delivery at 731P - pretty reg customer in fall/winter. Cool, takes usually 30-50mins on average, maybe 60 with rain; today was quoted at 40-50. Cool cool. As long as my food is well prepared, I am pretty chill on that window. But, fast forward to 9Pish (aka 40ish mins post anticipated delivery window)... I've not received my food yet and it hasn't left the shop at 9:13P. I checked in on the app and my uber driver informed me at 9:01 they had misplaced my order and had to refire it. I called the shop myself - lo and behold - they gaslight me. Person on phone: "Your uber driver hasn't been here - ma'am "... Me: "I can literally see my uber driver on a map, sitting in front of your shop. He's been there since roughly 10mins after I placed the order." I ask to speak to a manager, looking for an explanation "no, no it's just busy". Odd how two completely different stories fall out of mouths but the first one is to throw another human being under the bus? Girl, you work in service, what are you doing throwing a fellow service member under the bus? Literally all you had to say was "there was an issue in the kitchen, we are redoing your order and will get it out immediately"... But, Jinya chose the "I'm a terrible human" option and blamed the poor delivery guy for their incompetence (wouldn't have even called it that if they'd just said it was an honest mistake). And, also, manager/not manager #1 blaming the driver and #2 gaslighting a customer about "it's a busy night". No, yall just missed the mark and cld have said that and you were sorry for the delay but now we had to go full circle on blaming a delivery person and gaslighting a customer come on people... After talking to these terrible "managers/not managers" (according to them, pretty sure #1 hung up on me)... Food arrived at 9:29P (ordered at 731P)... Jinya eggs are forever cold every time I order because they prepare them early in the day, have never commented on that until today... But, somehow, Jinya delivered every item COLD to me. The gyoza has a FILM of grease; the broth is cool to the touch, the ramen (noodle bowl) is freezing...this meal was "ordered" at 8:51P according to the cute lil tag they put on it tell your employees to maybe not lie as a standard practice because they're awful at it... YOU blamed the trackable delivery guy Your team could have just said there was an honest mistake, but alas put me down a rabbit hole that could have been avoided. The vibe is cool but a little too dark, and the tables are super cramped side-by-side. Got the crispy chicken to start...super crunchy and actually really good. For mains, we got the Tonkotsu Black and Tonkotsu Red ramen. The ramen isn't like mind-blowing, but it totally hits the spot. The noodles are on the thinner side, which I like. The bun was just mid. I had the classic Jinya chicken ramen with no added toppings. It was good. I liked the additional hot sauce/"seasoning" that they have on the table. Food was all good. Nice stop after a day at Universal. I wanted to have a better quality restaurant after being at the park all day. This popped up and is conveniently close to the park. There is a small lot right outside of the restaurant, but more parking in a garage underneath. We probably got there around 9 and it was a little busy. We opted for outside, because it was the first available. Good thing there are heaters outside, as it was cold that evening. Service started off pretty well, our first server was really nice and enthusiastic. She helped my sister with some recommendations. We were served pretty quickly. I went with the Tonkotsu Black. Its as good as competitors in the greater LA area, so this might be the pick if you're looking for something in the area. The pricing is also comparable to other spots. We were there when it was time for our server to clock out, so the timing of things afterward were a little inconvenient with the switchover to a new one. The seating arrangement was also a little odd. The seats closest to the wall were buried into this wall bush decoration thing. Worth a try if youre in the area read more

Parking - There is plenty of space in the garage parking. The spaces are small and tight though. My friend drove their sedan there and it was still hard to get properly within the lines. Inside - They have outdoor and indoor seating. The indoor seating is a bit cramped. I'm not sure if it is a safety hazard to have the tables so close to one another but yeah. Other than that the vibe of the place is nice. Great music and good ambience to hang with friends for food. Seating - To grab a table you go up to the hostess and give them your number. When your table is ready they will notify you through text. I did not have to wait long to be seated. About 15 minutes. The staff were all very nice and the service was fast. Premium Tonkotsu Red - This ramen comes with pork broth, pork chase, green onions, seasoned egg, kikurage (ear wood), seaweed, chili oil, bean sprouts and ramen noodles. You get to choose from a spice level from 0-10. The waitress told us that 3 was considered mild so I got 4. I love eating spicy food so it wasn't that spicy to me. But if you cannot tolerate spicy I would stick between the 1-3 spice level range. The meat was very tender, the vegetables were done just right, and the noodles were firm. The only thing that I was not a fan of was their broth. It was very very salty and oily. I like salt, but it was a bit much for me. I prefer a lighter broth. The overall flavor profile was alright. I would give the ramen a 7 out of 10. Takoyaki - They were very generous with how much sauce they added on the balls. They also made the most perfectly crisp outside and big octopus pieces. This was a 8.5 out of 10 Overall - This was my first time here, but I don't think I will be rushing back. The experience was nice, but I just wasn't a big fan of the ramen. read more

Oh my goodnessss the best ramen iv'e had for awhileee!!!! Ive seen reviews talking about challenging parking but there is a huge free underground parking lot that is always usually empty! Upon entering the place is beautifully decorated but the stars of the show is the service and food that makes me come back to this place. I would definitely say the wait time is fairly long so I recommend getting there a bit earlier from lunch rush but the workers here are always so nice and energetic, I always order the tonkotsu red (spicy) with thin noodles and its honestly the best ramen I've had in awhile. I went on a Wednesday at around 2pm with both my parents. Erickson was the host and he quickly found us a table. Then we were assigned a server that started off ok, but she quickly developed an attitude. She heard that neither of my parents wanted anything to drink, and that I had asked for just water and 5 more minutes before we were gonna place our orders, and then she immediately lost all interest in providing any kind of service to us. She simply got lost and was just chilling and talking to coworkers (important that it was on a workweek day at around 2pm, so the store was slow). I was able to get Erickson's attention and he quickly took our orders, (Pro Tip: I worked in the food industry many years ago: if I skip on getting drinks with my meal, it probably means that I want to pass on those savings to the servers in the form of a proper tip) and provided us with excellent service. He single-handedly bumped this review from a 1-star rating to a 4-star rating. When the check came, I noticed Erickson showed up as our server so I tipped him properly and didn't even bother to get the girl's name because of how furious I was due to the crappy service. Crappy treatment from that woman aside, the food itself was fantastic. I was able to get the Chef's Special, so did my dad, and my mom got the Lunch Special. The Demon Slayer spoons were mega cool (main reason why I came, tbh), and the ramen itself was delicious and was a generous portion! read more
