The orange chicken was amazing with a side of steamed rice. I loved it. The Mongolian beef was super salty for me I couldn't eat it after trying one piece of meat. The staff were really nice and I liked being able to see into the kitchen. My favorite dish was the Honey Walnut Shrimp, loved the sauce and it was actually pretty large shrimp. They give fairly big portions and are meant to be shared, so unless you're really hungry you'll probably have leftovers if you're alone or order multiple things. I had the churros for dessert and they were made it to perfection but I would've preferred it without the filling. Regardless I'll definitely be back and will try other things. I ordered the salt and pepper shrimp for my entree as I wasnt feeling too hungry, and that was a sufficient serving if you're looking for something that you can eat by yourself as all of their plates are designed to be family style. Was not a huge fan of the Mongolian beef. I can't explain why. The sauce just wasn't ny thing. That said, I feel like they would make excellent leftovers reheated over the stove with some chili oil sauce. Our server, Josiah, gave very good recommendations. I'm usually skeptical of buy one get one free but I very much enjoyed their West Hollywood location when it was open so thought I'd try their valley location. Well the salad was pretty much just lettuce with two tiny strips of chicken. No flavor or protein with way too much lettuce and fried wontons. Their veggie egg rolls tasted bland and the apricot dressing that it comes didn't help it at all. Since I got a bogo I got two of everything -- the second helping is sitting in my fridge, but tbh, it'll most likely be in the trash soon. We also got green beans that had been cooked in oil with little tiny pieces of garlic and pickles. So good! And because we were having a birthday we were brought a plate of fresh fried churros stuffed with creamy yummy stuff.
