I sincerely regret that I paid cash, I should have charged it to my Amex card and initiate a chargeback refund. I asked the woman if there was a way I could get a discount for waiting 2 hours and she simply said 'No, we very busy we very busy.' She then took my cash and said 'thank you have a good night' and she was hoping I'd forget to ask for change but luckily I'd be damned if she got a tip so obviously I made her give me my $2.50 in change. It only takes like 5 minutes to cook nooders? I don't see what the big hubbub was about. Long story short, I paid $45 for Oyako Sushi to ruin me and my girlfriend's valentine's day dinner. There are so many better ways to go about busy nights than say 'No we are very busy.' Perhaps cut off seating until you're caught up, warning people of the long wait, offering comp'd meals or discounts.
