the interior of a fast food restaurant

My first time at this location. I found out it is a fast food Asian joint that's nothing like the Tokyo Grill in Smyrna which I do like...especially their sushi. This place is very small, dark, and kinda "dirty looking" but the food was tasty. I was kinda surprised. I had the shrimp hibachi. I actually loved their fried rice and the sticky char on the hibachi shrimp was perfect, and the lemony yum yum sauce for the shrimp was a nice surprise too. If you come here don't expect elegance, but the food and service were great. It may be a little dumpy because it's close to MTSU and that's probably where they get most of their business from. I remember the days of scrounging up quarters, dimes and nickels for a subway sandwich or ramen when I was in college

ago Have eaten there so many times because of convenience and location. Food seems to be up and down the last year or so. Was disappointed in big order tonight when we added on extra steak ($4.00 for 4oz) and just asked they make sure to be in side container and not just piled on top of the entrees. Placed order online and has $38.30 order total so took 40 in and was just going to let them keep the change, rings me up and tells me its $40.53. I asked what changed and was told the containers are $.50 a piece. If that's accurate then the order of two entrees and two extra sides of steak was four containers total, so even my entrees we got charged for? You'd think that would be built into the price, or are we supposed to bring our own Tupperware like a reusable grocery bag. Nope, got charged $2 for the extra steak for containers that are $.05 a piece and never disclosed it until I questioned it. Just seemed a bit nickel and diming, but I guess they prefer doing this or not actually adding the extra meat to the entree so you can ensure it gets added? I guess since it's the first time I've ever paid cash and always paid online I never noticed from literally dozens and dozens of orders the last 3 years. Lessoned learned. Hate it because it use to be great value, quality and quantity. Wish them future success as again they used to be great. Steak was quality and now is blade or bottom round cuts that are tough, not Top sirloin. College students or someone really on a budget they're still a good option, everyone else go ahead and hit the Koji.

The the food was decent, pretty good actually but they forgot part of my order and the chop stick had mold on them. It seems like some moisture got into the packaging. It was gross

Go to cheap eats. 8.99 for a nearly 2 pound plate of Chicken Hibachi. The white sauce is great. Very quick service. Decent inside.

Still just as good as in college! The portion sizes are still huge for the price and it's good fast food hibachi!

I ordered the fried dumplings and it came in a styrofoam container that melted onto the food. Styrofoam is bad enough as it is.

1 star. I've been…read morecoming here about every two weeks and have visited well over a dozen times. Today was my last. Anyone who has eaten here enough knows the game: the more pieces you order, the smaller each piece mysteriously becomes. Fine--it's their restaurant. What wasn't fine was having a man who appeared to be the owner/manager come to our table and tell us, "We can't serve you more fish." When I pointed out there is no limit listed anywhere on the menu, his response was: "If we can't make any dollars from you, we don't need you to come." Imagine running an all-you-can-eat restaurant and openly telling paying customers they're no longer welcome because they're eating too much. If your business model depends on shrinking the sushi and cutting people off when they actually use the all-you-can-eat menu, maybe don't call it all-you-can-eat. And if you can't handle customers eating what they paid for, then maybe you're not cut out to run an all-you-can-eat restaurant in the first place. Don't worry--I got the message. I won't be back.

From the aesthetics of the food to the taste, it was perfect! The restaurant's ambiance was amazing, with a very calm and laid back feel. They also were very keen about taking special requests... don't want vegetables? No problem. Want to order extra sauce? Not a big deal. They were very eager to please and very friendly. I really miss this restaurant, as it was easily the best (and I don't say that lightly) sit down Asian restaurant for the price! Tried the teriyaki, ginger, and hot chili and all worked well with rice and chicken. We had a large group and tried the steak, shrimp, chicken, mozzarella sticks, fries, California rolls, and spicy tuna rolls. Plenty of food and everyone had leftovers. Service Issue here was our server never turned on the flattop so when the chef showed up he to turn it on and leave for a while. We were told 5 or so minutes but he didn't return for closer to 15mins. Other than that, it was a good show, our drinks stayed full, and we were given plenty of to-go boxes. Ambiance This place is a lot bigger inside than you would think. If you're not doing hibachi, there's ample sitting. Each hibachi can seat 8 people. It's a little dim in there so when the fire is going on the hibachi you can really see it. Would I go back? Yep! Food on point, enough food for multiple meals, and very decent lunch price.

We asked to be seated at a table. I asked for the Habachi chicken with noodles instead of rice and vegetables. Our order was taken quickly and all of our questions answered. The salad came out soon after but we didn't receive soup. Not sure if that's part of the lunch menu or not but I've always gotten soup and salad at previous visits. When the Habachi chicken and noodles came out it looked extremely bare. The noodles looked and tasted like they were just boiled and smothered in sauce, not cooked or marinated on the Habachi grill. The same went for the vegetables. There was also so salt or pepper in sight. The chicken tasted good but the rest of the meal didn't complement it well. I just think it's kind of sad that it seems like I have to sit and watch them cook the food to make sure it's cooked appropriately and that the same quality standard is not coming from the back kitchen.
