Came back here today after a break due to the last bad experience we had here, so figured we would give it another go. The portions are still good, the meat was better this time and cook to perfection, and everything had good flavor and seasoning. Price is good for what you get here. Veggies were cooked well this time around as well. Rice is always cooked perfectly here as well. For many reasons, this place did not measure up for me. I ordered a sushi dish and while the taste was "OK" it was not much better than supermarket sushi. There was a nice sauce drizzled on the top, but there was not much flavor. Dining room accommodations were unimpressive. My table rocked because it was unstable and the chairs were rickety. It was as if they did not want you to eat in the restaurant - like they were only interested in take-out. It felt unclean and I was uncomfortable. Presenting with my sushi in a Styrofoam clam-shell container made it very unappetizing. Usually with sushi, you get a small container for your soy sauce, but not here. I like mixing my wasabi with soy sauce and I had to do this in the lid of the clam-shell. Usually I order green tea hot with my sushi. That was unavailable here. They did not even have bottled green tea. The person at the counter waived to a self-serve refrigerator and said that was all they had. For the price they were asking, supermarket sushi is a better deal. Today was a "Trial run" to see if I could make it there and back on my lunch hour from work. My first time at this location. I found out it is a fast food Asian joint that's nothing like the Tokyo Grill in Smyrna which I do like...especially their sushi. This place is very small, dark, and kinda "dirty looking" but the food was tasty. I was kinda surprised. I had the shrimp hibachi. I actually loved their fried rice and the sticky char on the hibachi shrimp was perfect, and the lemony yum yum sauce for the shrimp was a nice surprise too. If you come here don't expect elegance, but the food and service were great. It may be a little dumpy because it's close to MTSU and that's probably where they get most of their business from. ago Have eaten there so many times because of convenience and location. Food seems to be up and down the last year or so. Was disappointed in big order tonight when we added on extra steak ($4.00 for 4oz) and just asked they make sure to be in side container and not just piled on top of the entrees. Placed order online and has $38.30 order total so took 40 in and was just going to let them keep the change, rings me up and tells me its $40.53. I asked what changed and was told the containers are $.50 a piece. If that's accurate then the order of two entrees and two extra sides of steak was four containers total, so even my entrees we got charged for? You'd think that would be built into the price, or are we supposed to bring our own Tupperware like a reusable grocery bag. Nope, got charged $2 for the extra steak for containers that are $.05 a piece and never disclosed it until I questioned it. Just seemed a bit nickel and diming, but I guess they prefer doing this or not actually adding the extra meat to the entree so you can ensure it gets added? I guess since it's the first time I've ever paid cash and always paid online I never noticed from literally dozens and dozens of orders the last 3 years. Lessoned learned. Hate it because it use to be great value, quality and quantity. Wish them future success as again they used to be great. Steak was quality and now is blade or bottom round cuts that are tough, not Top sirloin. First impressions were horrible, it was dark and the kitchen looked like it hasn't been cleaned in years, already I was starting to regret my purchase. I get back home and when I first saw I thought this doesn't look too bad, but that was before I tried it. The rice is disgusting and the steak was tough and rubbery. This place sucks! I went to eat here yesterday and got hibachi steak fried rice and ugh the fried rice is so plain, the yum yum sauce taste straight up nasty. The only good thing about the food was the steak was tender and moist inside. But it was extra salty. My husband didn't even finish his food. It just was so nasty. Got to experience their food for the first time tonight. They delivered within the time they said they would, and the delivery charge was totally affordable. The food was pretty good as well! If you think you're coming here to get Koji, you're wrong. This place doesn't even compare to Koji's. The steak and chicken were flavorless and smothered in sauce to try to diminish the blandness. The rice was also not fresh at all. When I bit into my steak it was hard and just tasted like rubber. Whereas at Koji you can always taste flavor and tenderness of the meat. The chicken was cut not very proportional to each other and some pieces way too big to chew. The dipping sauce that's supposed to be the best part, was watered down without any flavor. I only ate my food because I was at work and I was hungry. I will never ever go here even if I have to drive out of my way to go to Koji. read more

Well, I tried to order from the online ordering here on yelp, but it didn't work. I called to place an order and was told "the delivery girl is running late, call back". I called back with my order of 2 chicken bento boxes, crab Rangoon, a cream cheese roll and a shrimp roll. I was given everything but the shrimp roll. Looks like the crab roll is what I got instead of the shrimp roll. The sushi was fair. The bento box chicken and veggies were very cold and not very flavorful. The crab Rangoon was just mediocre. The dumplings and kani salad are good! The first time that I ordered from here the sushi was fine, but the next time I ordered it was like they just threw the rolls together and put them in a container. They fell apart every time I tried to pick one up. read more

However, I had the experience of getting a wrong order (so they over charged me), and when I pointed it out, instead of them offering to remake it and refund, they just tried to convince me it was ok and when I asked for a refund, they were so unwilling and it was such a hassel, I just left. We ordered delivery. It was delivered promptly. However, this is not food. It's slop. The shrimp has some kind of radio-active mercury taste. The steak was over cooked and seasoned with minimal seasoning. We tasted the noodles. I guess it has soy sauce on it- some sticky brown goo. There was so much on them we put them in a strainer hoping to drain some of it off. Still, they were inedible. I don't know what was on the vegetables, but really how difficult is it to make steamed veggies? Apparently it's more difficult than I thought. The packets of sweet sauce were rancid.
