You know we usually focus on the negative and this place had its opportunities in the past. The orders took forever and were almost always wrong. I would say about 5 months ago something happened. Tried the tam tam ramen and it was great - A LOT of flavor and just the right amount of spice. TJs might be my new favorite place for ramen believe it or not. My only frustration falls on the price - $45 for two people (appetizer and two entrees...) unacceptable for "fast food" dining. read more

I thought maybe it was a fluke so gave them a second chance. They were out of white rice and my wife and I waited for over 30 minutes again. My go to location for the cravings. when you are done with the burgers and pizza, this is the prime pick for something filling and healthy. Located at the SE corner of Lincoln and Parker, there are only two ways to get in but only one way out. Yes, that is right. If you are heading north on Parker, yes you can get in. Its one way in, no way out. You will have to make the full drive around to the back of the store or near the bank and go around to Lincoln and exit out. This mall is very small and strangely laid out. Gotta watch out for the other cars. Back to the food. Yes, its consistently good with occasional hiccups but on-line ordering works perfectly and food is ready for pick up in good time. read more

Expired hot sauce by 2+ years, employees did not take the hot sauce down after bringing it to their attention. The Tabasco (which I had intended on trying) had expired in February of 2020! I am so disappointed in this place. I have ordered meals from there so many times. I have paid for extra protein so that they don't fill my plate w/ rice or sweet potatoes. Walked in to do a take out order that took 30 minutes. The woman who was finalizing orders brought out an order for a customer that ordered after we did. When she stopped to see if it was our order we said no we had a take out. She said she would bag our order next. She delivered the order and on her way back to finish our order picked up garbage on the floor and pushed in chairs while our food waited on the counter to be bagged. Then she bagged our order without changing her gloves. Luckily she didn't touch food just he outside of containers. Ever since we moved to Parker, we've eaten at this TJ at least 20 times. Every. Single. Time. We have dined in, nearly the entire staff are extreme emo, depressed with exception to a couple of the normal looking personnel. One even shows up to word sporting the full get up, including sad face makeup. Are all the TJs like this? Or is this the only location that requires emo costumes? I've been on a new health journey and have been struggling to find yummy nutritious things to eat because I got so used to greasy fast food. Decided to stop in to Joe's after the gym on Thursday morning. I was nervous to order because I have no clue where to start when it comes to healthy food. I forgot to ask for her name but the girl at the register immediately smiled and welcomed me when I came in. I was asking probably annoying questions about her recommendations and shared a little bit about the diet i've been on. She was so knowledgeable about which veggies and meat work best for staying lean but gaining muscle. She told me about how she used to be very into fitness. She was reassuring me that after a while suddenly working out and being healthy becomes second nature and you truly start to enjoy it. It made my entire day! After I ordered and was waiting for my food, I was watching everyone in the kitchen work so fast and efficient. All of the workers were talking and laughing with each other even though it seemed to be a bit busy and stressful. I also saw the girl from the register putting all of the food into bags for togo's and pickups, so then it meant even more to me that she really took the time to talk to me even though she had all of that to do. She wiped tables as she brought out food and was quickly getting everything cleaned. There was also the man working on sushi who was helping bag things and carrying out food. They had some awesome teamwork together! He walked by me as he was carrying dishes and checked on me and how my food was and it felt so genuine like he really wanted to make sure I was having a good experience. This was my first time here and I'm just very pleasantly surprised. I've had some poor experiences trying out new places in the Parker and Lone Tree area, so I've been hesitant to keep trying new restaurants. It may sound silly but my lunch here encouraged me to keep trying new places! The whole staff was just a well oiled machine and this will be my new go to place. There are so many options on the menu and my bowl was delicious, I can't wait to try more! How sweet that girl was truly made my day. A little kindness goes such a long way especially in these times. I hope to see her when I go in next week so I can tell her how much I appreciated it, and I hope to see the man who was working on sushi as well because he was awesome! I could go on and on about the positive energy all of the workers had, and about how yummy the food was. If you haven't tried this Tokyo Joes yet then I highly recommend it! I'm not sure who y'all have rolling sushi tonight but I think it would be best not to have him on this station. All my rolls were jacked up either super rice heavy, missing ingredients, falling apart, and lacked any sort of consistency with all the other rolls. I love this menu so much I go at opening to be the first in the door. You can experience a line during opening and other peak times. It's Great for a quick lunch and restroom break. This restaurant is always clean and the staff is always friendly. You do have to mention your rewards because the cashiers consistently forget to ask for your cell number to generate your points. Other than that I have only good experiences at this Tokyo Joe's spot. I have been to eat at no less than three other Tokyo Joe's restaurants and all of them have the same issue not remembering to ask if you're a rewards member. I'm big on rewards so this miss costs the business a star. read more

Woof ..... we ordered a grilled shrimp and ahi tuna poke bowl and it was absolutely disgusting. The rice was grainy , I can still feel it in my teeth while I'm writing this. There is no way it was made fresh. I spent a long time as an executive chef, that rice was a few days old. There were little chunks of what appeared to be canned pineapple, they were almost translucent and flavorless. A few tiny shrimp a few little pieces of tuna that seemed like the frozen Sysco special. Just gross.This disgrace of a poke bowl represented all that is wrong with corporate food service. I'm not sure this could have been much worse as there was not really anything about it that was good. What I find most disappointing is that this could have been excellent, lack of caring, fresh ingredients and training made this a memorable experience, for all the wrong reasons. I would order gas station sushi before I would go back to Tokyo Joes. You have been warned. Find a different spot read more

New & Open! Tokyo Joes finally opened a location in Parker! This location is right off of Parker & Lincoln road in a brand new little plaza shared with Dunkin' Donuts. Today, the grand opening, all proceeds go to the Douglas County Fallen Officers Fund which I think is incredible especially for a brand new business! They are very community forward which is great. The staff here is so friendly and is eager to work. I hope the enthusiasm continues as the restaurant becomes used. The restaurant is a good size for the town of Parker. Restaurant was very clean even on an extremely busy day like opening day! Can't wait to have many meals here now that it's so close! I've been a fan of Tokyo Joe's since the beginning in 1995, and have been asking for a location in Parker for many years. Today was the day! As the first customer, I was happy to stand on line and get the very first bowl out of the kitchen. I know the grand opening was a special day, and everything was destined to be pretty perfect. There were four corporate trainers in the kitchen this day, and so yes, the food was some of the best I've gotten in a long time at all the different locations I've been to. I got a MoJoe bowl with white chicken and brown rice. It was pretty great. There's lots of sodas and teas to choose from, and this location features, from my memory, the first hot sauce bar, with a variety of sirachas, including some local Denver-sourced ones. Every Tokyo Joe's also has a different interior, and this one is beautiful, with great lighting. The parking lot can be a little tricky to navigate as the entrance nearest TJ's is an entrance only on Parker Road, but the entrance off Lincoln allows access either direction. read more

This place really wasn't anything special to me. I'm from out of town so I went here for a quick bite to eat. The people that work there are incredibly helpful. The food though is what was just okay. I got a build your own bowl with spicy teriyaki and regular teriyaki sauces. They both were a little below average in taste and texture. The sushi is also below average. For about $10 a roll, I have had much much better ones at other sushi places. You can tell they are more popular with their bowls than their sushi. Overall, 3/5. read more

This is a nice place, nice and lively location in Parker, and depending on what you order, the food is delicious. I would say the sushi dishes are where it's at at this place, and to not bother with the chicken. Also don't bother with the ramen noodles, as they're just not a strong suit here; for noodles, go with the udon. But, really, my favorite thing to get that never disappoints me is the poke bowl with brown rice and salmon. It tastes SO GOOD with a ton of exquisite umami flavor! The service is meh. Not horrible, but I don't expect any better from the young'uns who all seem to be emo, so whatever...it's not '90s service, so it sucks by default and that's okay. Just make sure you don't commit the sin of going in within the 45 minutes before closing time or they'll pretty much tell you how much they hate you. Worst customer service upto the General Manager. They left all the sauces off of all purchases entree on a takeout order. I called that night and spoke to a supervisor and they said they would back out the charge as poke without sauce sucks. I still was charged. I called and spoke to another supervisor who said they couldn't do a refund but would give us free entree. Which they didn't, I called back and spoke to GM and she said she would fix and still nothing. read more
